"In our perfect world, our manufacturer's will always get everything right 100% of the time and the FedEx drivers will never ever separate cartons and labels so that we can look good to our customers just as we promised when we originally instilled confidence in our customers on day of consultation. However, regretfully my perfect world is often shattered by others that I count on to make me look good every day and it is always unsettling because it involves my customer that I promised to take good care of. With that said, I do know that before our installer even left the home; I was notified of a valance that was missing in action. I was on the phone immediately contacting the vendor to take care of this and let the customer know that our installer would be contacting him to schedule the installation. When customers call or email to ask how soon something will arrive, we can only promise that the minute it arrives, our installer will contact them because we are not in control of the process of it being made and shipped in addition to our installer squeezing this in for us and we don't want to give our customers a timeline that might further disappoint them. If we tell them 2 weeks and it comes in 3 weeks; then it is just one more disappointment. But we do make sure that this is taken care of immediately on our end and we inform our customer as such. We also profusely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We know that this may upset some of our customers who want immediate answers we cannot provide and if that makes us look bad in any way; we so apologize and this is not our intention. Our intention is to move swiftly to get them what we promised. A side note: Although there is no question that this customer had to wait while their valance was remade (and again we apologize for that), I am confident that they love the look that we were able to create that no other company could provide for them with the beautiful Keystones that cover a scored split down the middle of their side by side blinds. In addition, I have noticed that they had a problem with a blind. We were contacted that there was a problem and we actually had the manufacturer send a box directly to their house with simple instructions to put the blind in the box and to let me know when they had it ready to go. Upon hearing from him, we contacted the manufacturer to have them issue a call tag to have it picked up right off of their porch and sent back to the plant for repair. Upon completion, we had it sent directly back to him. There was no cost for this and he never had to leave his house and take it anywhere. We did all the work for him which was our pleasure. We understand time to time someone will write a bad review because they are angry and they will even call us rude because they didn't like our truthful answers about not being able to give them a specific timeline. We cannot be accountable for different personalities that perceive things in a certain way and make judgements based on that. What we will be accountable for however, is knowing that we pride ourselves on the high level of integrity that we have both as individuals and as a company and bring that into our customer's homes every day hence why this customer chose to purchase our products and do business with us in the first place. It is because of this that we have reaped the benefits of all of our repeat and referral customer base. In closing, we feel horrible that there was a mishap with the plant and then worse yet with the shipping however being homeowners ourselves, we know that things do happen. We just don't want it to happen to us and we know that when it does, we get angry too. However, we don't allow it to diminish ultimately what we chose to buy or who we chose to buy it from; just a lot of frustration perhaps until it gets squared a way."

Although the manufacturer used to have hard copy warranties that we would hand to our customers to fill out and send back; truth be told...they received very few back and decided in digital times to do away with the paper warranties. With that said, once we place an order for you, you are automatically registered and are in their system referenced by last name and order number. We ask all of our customers to retain their copy of the invoice that indicates the date of purchase and product so that we can find you easily and address any problem that you may have. To reiterate what we said in your home, this is our preferred vendor Custom Brands Group which is a subsidiary and owned by Hunter Douglas. Custom Brands and our Corporate agreed upon our branded name of Enlightened Style to separate us (Budget Blinds) from everyone else in the industry. As an exclusive, you have a "No Questions" consumers warranty even against abuse on each product and a "wear and tear" for life above and beyond the manufacturer's lifetime warranty. They kept us informed on our order and promptly schedule a professional installation. What they advised us to put on our windows was absolutely perfect and beautiful.
About a year ago, I broke a small piece of a cord. Debi had sent me the replacement part and a few more-just in case I was too h****** the cord again.
About a month ago, one of our painters damaged one of our silhouette blinds. I instantly called Debi. She asked that I send her pictures of the damage and she reviewed the photos with the manufacturer. She ordered a new one and it arrived and was installed in about a week.
