Description of Work: I had a gas log insert installed in my fireplace, which previously, had a wood burning stove installed, long ago. A few disappointments. I don't think I was given a straight forward answer on my question regarding carbon monoxide and vented VS vent-free. I recommend anyone who is thinking of getting gas log insert in their fireplace VS full gas conversion to do thorough research and have your QA list ready when the sales rep comes to give you an estimate. Try to get as close an estimate as possible. A $600 extra cost was quoted to me at time of installation after they pulled out my wood burning stove. I wasn't ready for that.

We tried reaching out to the customer, at the time he did not want to have a supervisor come over and look at the job. The chimney was swept and there was a unsafe report to follow that the customer received after the cleaning and inspection on the chimney and fireplace was completed. We do have a report copy on file if needed.
