Dr Sweep

2 man crew arrived 10am finished 5:30pm. Messy, dropping old mortar in yard, on bushes and onto AC unit, did not use enough drop clothes.

It went really well. He cleaned the chimney. He cleaned up after himself and explained to me the benefits of doing it regularly.

Job was only partly done, not because of anyone's fault, but because of machine. Still, it was next to impossible to schedule rest of job, especially removal of all the leaves blown from the roof that then blocked the door.

Technician agreed to complete the job as asked after I pushed back and said I would not pay more. I actually sent him away saying I would get a refund. Very unprofessional and could easily take advantage of someone if they were not careful. Job was ok, at best. Still lots of leaves and debris left behind after the service. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Only negative comment is that the tech smoked too much.

Dean (Dr. Sweep) arrived and started to work immediately on correcting a few problems with my gas fireplace insert. He explained how the insert works and advised me what to do in the future if I see the problem again. A delightful and entertaining person. Upon further discussion, Dean also checked out the basement fireplace and corrected a few problems with it.

The work was well done, no issues.

Only problem was inappropriate extra invoice. Cleared up after a few phone calls.

Found a gas line leak. But the problem was an air lock. Got logs to light myself after he left.

Wonderful experience! The technician was knowledgeable, skilled, and personable. He responded to our questions patiently and taught us everything we needed to know about operation and maintenance of our gas fireplace. He didn't try to sell us something we didn't want or services we didn't need. I would call Dr. Sweep in an instant if I needed anything related to our fireplaces.

Their worker arrived late and performed in a mediocre way, including needing help with ladders, and needing some tools. We had no such problems with their worker last year.

It was a very positive experience. It was complete with 2 phone calls, one for an appointment, one from a technician for a confirmation.

Overall it went very well. Mohamed was on time and very professional.

They were very friendly and professional. After they left, I noticed a rattle coming from the dryer. I called and Matt came out again the next day. He determined there was no problem with the vent. The noise is apparently coming from the control panel of the dryer, unrelated to the vent cleaning. He checked everything to see if anything wasn't tightened. It was a positive experience.

250 See comments above - I am not happy with the cost as well as the service provided given the inability to reach the areas that were badly in need of cleaning and not actually cleaning or inspecting the areas of my house that they did not have the proper supplies (ladders) to reach. I would not recomment them and would like my money back for what was paid.

Arrived on time and introduced himself. I should him the fireplace and he started to examine it. Then he swept the chimney and once completed cleaned up everything. He then re examined the flue and showed me what he was talking about. He didn't try to sell me additional items. He did a great job.

He did an outstanding job on keeping the area clean and also making a minor fix to a wire that held the flue damper in place. The chimney inspection was very thorough.

Poorly! Felt like it was a total ripe off!!! Tech told me I had a big build up of creosote and would need a deglazing coat. And that my fireplace was not safe to burn fires in. He came back two weeks later and I paid him $200 for the treatment which consisted of putting a chemical on the walls of the inside of my chimney. He said to burn a fire for 2 hours and he would be back to check it. After several phone calls and another 2 weeks he came back out. Looked up my chimney with a light and said it needed 2 more coats, 2nd was $300 and 3rd was $400. And that I might need a whole new liner if they couldn't get it off. He did not sweep my chimney at all. I told him I would call if I wanted the 2nd coat done. I had another company come out after that for a second opinion and they cleaned my chimney completely with no chemicals and did a video and pictures of before and after. Dr Sweep has called once since the last visit.

Dr. Sweep was prompt, they ordered parts and was able to complete the job .The workers had to make an additional trip ( at no additional charge) so the job took 3 days to complete. They cleaned up the debris. The above charge included materials, labor & of course the sweep of the inside of our chimney. I would use them again, & highly recommend them.

I purchased a coupon to have my gutters cleaned in May, I forgot about the coupon and was starting to look at my angie account when they called me. I set up my appointment and everything went well

Went good overall. A few days late because of truck issues.

A very professional young man called to tell us he was on his way and he arrived on time. He was friendly and professional. The work took about an hour or so (we have a 3000 sq. ft. house).
