Dr Sweep

Fabulous. The representatives were on time, very friendly and efficient. Once the process was started, I asked the representatives if I could get around the dryer to clean it and the floor. When they were done the representative told me that they not only cleaned the floor but the dryer sides as well. I have had Dr. Sweep in the past and will continue to use them in the future.

They went above and beyond. They were very responsive. They did exactly what they said they would. They called ahead to let me know they were on the way. I appreciated it. They did very good work and I was happy with the service. They answered all of my questions. It was exactly what I was expecting and what I wanted. They were very careful to lay down drop cloths and really good about cleaning up after themselves. I had no finger prints on the fireplace or dirt left behind. They were concerned of the cleanliness of my home.

They were very professional. They asked if we wanted to have a small repair done at the time and we declined. A call made made later to follow up. After declining the repair - they haven't called back to 'bother' us.

We purchased the Big Deal for our Chimney Cleaning. The service man was on time and performed the job on hand as well as inform us of some places that needed to be be patched and offered us an estimate on that work. Overall we were very happy with the deal, it was very easy to get an appointment that worked with us and things went seamlessly.

It went great! They got our gas fireplace running again.

It turned out good, they did a good job and they came when they said they were going to come. They were here just here a couple of weeks ago. They were good once we got going on it but that was the first time we ever used it and we were a little bit out of sense on what to do. We paid a lot more, we paid over $800 because we bought like $300 coupon so we spent like $1100 and we ended up having to send another $800 so I don't know how that works out. They did very good work and got it done in a timely manner and I would recommend them if anybody needed any type of what we had done. Price is a little higher than I would have like to have spent but I kind of know how he contract his work.

I was unable to use the big deal due to the company not responding to my several phone calls from me or Angie's List. I have been calling twice a week since August 19th. No response whatsoever.

I purchased the big deal from Angie's List and it went very well. Actually I wasn't here but my wife was so I don't know what they did. I think it did make a difference after they cleaned. I chose them because of the deal. I think they were here on time.

Went pretty well. Arrived when scheduled to do so for estimate and repair. Seems to be good work. Agreed to price-match a similar quote.

The vent was cleaned from downstairs and outside. A fair amount of Heavy dust particles was not cleaned up. I was not impressed by the person doing the work.

Two guys came out and one was supposedly in training. They were pleasant but when they cleaned the dryer vent out in the basement, they pulled the lint out and left it on the floor! My husband was with them downstairs and he didn't say anything to them, which had I known in at that time, I would have said something to them! They also did not come on the original day planned. Apparently they were running late and called. But we had already waited a window of several hours for them, so it had to be rescheduled. Basically, I did not feel it was worth all the waiting, rescheduling and cleaning up after them for the amount of work they did.

They were fine. It was well done and I have no complaints. They were really friendly and accommodating.

The young man was very polite and went above the call of duty. My 2 small complaints are that the company shirt was a little worn and he didn't ring the bell to let us know he had arrived to do the job.

The technician was there on time. They said whatever that had to look in to, they did that. It was good. The thing that I like was, after we bought the big deal they called up and they set up the appointment.

Purchased Big Deal for whole house gutter cleaning. First appointment needed to be rescheduled due to the fact that they needed a bigger ladder. I wasn't clear at that time if they had done any of the job. I found out after calling that they hadn't been able to do any of it, and we rescheduled to have them come back. Gutters look much better and we had heavy rain last night and I could really tell the difference (they were overflowing before). Good service, and good deal . Would use again.

There were no timeliness issues with them. I thought the young man that they sent out was confident and reasonable and I think that he guided me rather well with regard to what my needs were with the fireplace and what possibly in the future could occur and would be needed. SO I found him to give good technical advice.

They did everything as expected, when expected. The crew leader invited me to the roof to explain everything including upcoming maintenance issues. Be sure to check out Groupon as I got a much better deal than the one here on Angie's List ($79 v. $119).

He did a great job. Was very thorough.

Technician was scheduled to arrive between 1-4pm. He had not arrived by 4:00 so I called the office and was told by the person who answered the phone that she would check and call me back. The technician called me back and said he was running behind and he would come by 6pm if that was okay with me. I did not want to spend another day waiting, so I agreed to the new time. Technician still had not arrived by 6pm so I called him and he said he was finishing up another job and he would be at my house within 20 minutes. My concern was that he would be tired and would rush through my cleaning to wrap up his long day of working. He assured me that he would not rush and that he would do a complete and thorough job of cleaning/inspecting my chimney. He finally arrived to my house at approximately 6:30pm. The technician was very nice, and explained everything that he was doing. He informed me that because I have a gas fireplace, I did not need a cleaning, I needed an inspection. He inspected the chimney, checked the gas line, cleaned and rearranged the logs and the rocks, and gave me information on things I need to obtain for my chimney and fireplace. Overall, I was pleased with the service that I received.

The technician was very thorough and professional.He did come to a problem when I told him I had been smelling gas for awhile. I showed him where I detected an odor,and he agreed with me,and when he checked, found there was gas coming from somewhere. He called his office to report the problem and told me that the fireplace needed to be shutdown until the gas leak was found.He was unable to find the leak due to us having a drop ceiling with problems with access,but offered to have his company come back out at a later date to thoroughly investigate and fix the problem.The company called me back with an estimate of cost and I told them I would call them back if I decided to have them come back.My husband decided to take care of the issue himself,being in the Electrical business.

I was not at all impressed with this company. Phone calls went unanswered and I was not happy with the finished result.

I discovered Dr. Sweep through an Angie's List "Big Deal" special for masonry work. The step directly under my front door was loose and I wanted it fixed ASAP. The company was immediately responsive and sent out a staff member to inspect the job so that there would be no miscommunication, something I greatly appreciated. The work was then scheduled within that same week and the workers arrived slightly before the time I was given. The step was fixed within an hour and the work has held beautifully. The workers were not only on time, they were pleasant, friendly and professional. Excellent job! Based on my previous experience, I then purchased another "Big Deal" for a gas log fireplace tune-up. Again, the worker arrived on time and ready to begin, with a big smile and an amiable manner. He discussed everything he did as he performed his work and we chatted about how best to maintain the fireplace. Another stellar job performed quickly and correctly by a friendly, funny staff member. I will assuredly use and recommend Dr. Sweep in the future!

The first time they came out things didn't go as planned they didn't finish what they were suppose to do, but after several calls they did apologize for the misunderstanding and then came back out and did the job correctly.

My wife handled them but she said the guy had a really great sense of humor because in the back of the chimney, there's some ash dump and a metal door that supposed to be there is missing. So, she's like, let me get this straight, the ash door is missing. He found some things that are wrong with our chimney that need to be fixed and he put a decent price. He explained everything very professionally to my wife.

They discovered that there was a crack that that they repaired for me and it was done at a very reasonable price. They cleaned it and inspected the chimney. They were fine, very respectful, came in, did their work and then they left.
