They built up the concrete with a polymer type of material. They did it just on one side of the house. The issue is not completely gone, but it is an improvement.

It went very good. They showed up when they said they would. They called before hand to give an exact time of arrival. They were very clean, very thorough, and quick to finish the job. I would recommend their services!

After getting their initial message to set up an appointment, the date didn't work for them. I have since tried to set up a different appointment and have been unable to get any kind of response.

We also asked him to remove the gas logs and the stones and turned the fireplace back to a wood burning fireplace. He checked the chimney and cleaned up everything. We are very happy with his work. Very professional and knows what he is doing.

I purchased the deal, but was not very impressed. I felt the whole time it was just an upsell. I did need a chimney cap, but when I was told "I just happen to have one in the truck, and if you buy it now, I will knock $10 off the price" I knew where this was going. I was told all things they would not do, that would be an extra charge...this is how it went. They even took the old cap without even asking.

Very Rude when we tried to schedule the appointment. We paid $ 100 thru Paypal , but canceled the appointment due to their attitude. No work was done, but we paid $100.

It went well, they were right on time, the work was good. The guy that did the work actually had me come up and take a look at it, showed me the work that needed to be done on the cap and the flashing. He went above and beyond.

Bart, the service person did an excellent job .He showed up on time, performed the work professionally and cleaned everything up before leaving He was helpful in understanding how to operate the gas fireplace controls. He did not try to upsell the service and did not perform any work that didn't need to be done.

Fast and clean. Provided inspection report and reasonable estimate to fix cement cap and install a chimney cap. No pressure to commit to repairs.

He showed up when he said he said he would, cleaned up after himself, was friendly and did a good job.

I would definitely use this company again. They came out on Saturday so I didn't need to miss work, were punctual and behaved professionally, and completed the work. Two years later the house hasn't burned down so I am guessing they did a good job!

I feel that this was a complete waste of the $111.00 I spent and got nothing in return. I choose this company because after reading the reviews, it sounded like they did a good job. I just moved into a Condo, and wanted to make sure the Gas Fireplace was cleaned, and working. The Glass appeared like it had a fog inside of it. It might be only this one Tech, Bart, was his name who came out. When I first moved into the Condo, the Gas Fireplace operated on a Wall Switch, I had turned on the switch and the Fireplace went on and I thought, okay, this is good. I then turned the Pilot off, because it was August and I didnt want to waste Gas. So, when the tech came in, I showed him the Glass and he took outside and cleaned it with something that made it worse than it had been. I said, that doesnt look good and he said, well, its in between the glass panels and I cant get it any better than that. He proceeded to tell me, I would probably need a new glass front. He took the grates out, appeared to clean them and thats all he did. I looked under the firebox and saw that there were cobwebs and dust and I said, arent you going to clean that out? He said he did not want to use a vacumn because of the wiring. I said, well cant you clean it somehow as that is what I called Dr. Sweep for. So, he took a wet papertowel and wiped the inside of it. He did not clean the tile in front of the Fireplace until I mentioned that, again, he wiped it up with papertowel. He started to say okay, well thats it, I am done. I said, "Arent you going to light the pilot and see if the Fireplace works or not. He got the pilot lit but the fireplace would not go on. I didnt think he knew what he was doing, honestly. I said, well, it worked before. He said sometimes that happens, one minute it works, the next minute it doesnt. He said the Gas Line was not working and I would need a new one installed. He said he would tell Ada or Ida to set up an appt for me ASAP. I did not hear from her, so I called today 10-18-13, she was on the phone and another gal took a message for her to call me back, but she never did. In the meantime, I decided to ask my Son, who never worked on a Gas Fireplace to take the Firebox apart and see if he could get it started. Sure, enough, he did. While he was working on that, I decided to clean the window just using Dawn Soap and water and it was 100% more clearer and cleaner, looks like there is no glass in there. So, whatever, Bart used, it did not work. I was disgusted, here he told me I would need a new glass window and a new Gas Line. I dont know if this guy was new at this or what. I had read the other reviews where customers said, the rocks and the vermucilite were taken out and replaced with new stuff, Bart did none of this. Other reviewers said, a cloth was laid down so not to dirt anywhere, I told Bart I had just put new carpeting in. He said he would be careful. Also he did not do anyy 26 point inspection, thats for sure. I felt this was $111.00 waste of money. I would not use this company again because of this Technician and no call back. I am not a critical person, and often give a little extra bonus money if I feel the Service Tech for whatever job I am having done, does an over the top job. This definetly was a bad experience and money wasted. He was here all about 20 minutes if that.

It turned out pretty good. They called me faster than what the big deal stated. We scheduled a timely appointment. The people were nice and cleaned up after themselves. They didn't remove all of the lint. I ended up having lint accumulate at the end of the dryer vent. I plugged it off and took about half of a cubic foot out. I called and told them so that they would know. I was stunned that they didn't watch the dryer run after they cleaned it to make sure the passage was open. They told me that they would do that in the future. They came out and comped me a chimney cleaning for my inconvenience. So when they did the first service, I was a little disappointed that they didn't check their work. But in terms of trying to resolve all issues with the customers, they were outstanding. They had somebody in management call me back to see what the deal was. It was impressive that someone different than who I initially spoke with followed up. They sent the same guy back out so that he and I could talk.

Very professional! He showed up within the stated timeframe, calling ahead to let me know he was coming. He worked quickly but was thorough, cleaning up/vacuuming around the areas that were affected and put everything back to its original place. I would recommend this service and this company to everyone as I had no clue how much this effected the efficiency of my dryer! I now dry towels in about a third of the time it took prior to the cleaning.

Screen on dryer vent was pushed off, not replaced but removed with lint.

It's fine. I had a new flue put in and I think that's just under $200 which I needed and that was good. The other one didn't work and it was rusted. I got a good one now so I was pleased with that. He just suggested that I do it and I agreed with it and I like the one that they put on, it's right at the top of the chimney now instead of down where they usually are, we had to reach in there and open it up. It was very nice. I don't think it was a con or anything so I was pleased. He was very good. I would call them if I needed some fireplace worker or things like that.

They were timely, they did what I expected and they were cordial. They work professional and they did a nice job.

The provider took care to keep the surrounding area clean. My main reason for calling was because we had just moved into the house and I wanted to be sure the fireplace was safe and ready to use (it was). I was annoyed by the repeated follow up phone calls trying to get me to buy more services. Had I really felt I needed to have more work done, I'm confident they would have done a fine job. Saying "No thanks" once, should have been enough.

I had to have them come while I wasn't home, but it looks like all the little trees that used to be growing in them are gone - and I'm not getting the water in the basement from improper drainage anymore, so I think it's all good.

I have a gas fireplace and the deal was more for typical fireplaces. He explained that he could clean my flu and other areas, but he would not be able to complete as much work as he could have with a regular fireplace. He did try to find things that were applicable to me. He was also clean and protected the areas around my fireplace. However, he did not pro-rate the cost even though he did less that the Deal covered. I would hire them again, but not through a Big Deal package as I would want to make sure it were applicable to my situation.

Making appointment was easy. The workers arrived in time. The work was completed in about 2 hrs and they cleaned the space after work.

We scheduled the gutter cleaning for Friday, 12/7/12 for 2 reasons: 1) I would be in town/at home to ensure water was on and available if needed and 2) temperatures were to be in the 50s that day. While out of town on business on the 3rd, I unknowingly received 2 voice mails asking to reschedule the service for Tuesday 12/4 - which, of course, we did not agree to. Without our knowledge, someone came anyway. As I was trying to complete meetings and travel to my next destination on the 4th, I got calls indicating that someone was at our house, that there would be a surcharge due to freezing in the gutters, etc. I was very frustrated since this had not been the plan, as stated above, and contacted my husband at work to have him try to resolve the issues. Dr. Sweep did agree to drop the surcharge, but we came home to a complete mess in our yard and garden beds (which we had already thoroughly cleaned out for winter).
