It went very well. They came over and cleaned everything out. I feel safer now. It was a nice experience and I’m glad that I did it.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out good. They found actually a raccoon in my chimney, so they put a whole new liner in and that part was very expensive, which I found out later. Putting in the new liner was another service that they provided when they came out to do chimney sweeping.

They were very friendly and professional and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this company

Arrived on time with a phone call before coming. I needed the pilot relit and did not want to do it myself. That was done for me. The technician was expecially artistic with the placement of the embers and covered up an unsightly bar with stone to make the presentation more convincing. Everything was properly cleaned up before he left. I am very satisfied.

Pros: The Big Deal was affordable, quick and simple: exactly what we needed. The chimney sweep came out, inspected the chimney and cleaned it, then vacuumed the chimney grate and surrounding area afterwards. He also was able to tell me that the stone sides of my chimney were inserts and still usable (so i didn't have to replace them) as well as how to use my chimney, which as a new homeowner, i really appreciated. He was courteous, polite, friendly and helpful - and fast! The appointment was done in an hour or less. Cons: The Big Deal said that the company would contact me to schedule, but instead the company messaged/emailed all purchasers of the deal to say we'd need to call to schedule. I did so, and the receptionist said b/c of the large amount of purchases, they couldn't get me scheduled right away but would call back within the week. Which they didn't do. (Pro:) I ended up calling and scheduling myself, about a month or so later. I called on a Saturday or Sunday and they said they could get scheduled for Monday, which was impressive.

The first time they came out there were no problems. The second time they came out, they found a spiderweb. They charged me another $100 for the second visit. The guy that came out the second time knew what he was doing. The price was good. I have not had any problems since. The guys that came out the first time did not know what they were doing. I would use them again.

Technician was on time and completed job. Also cleaned up fire place mess pretty well.

They were good. It was pretty soon after I bought the deal. I remember they were efficient. They clean and they took care of it. I didn't have any problems with it. The guy came out was a nice man. It was a good service and I thought the price was good.

It was fine, once they got it together. They had more response than they were expecting. They did their job and I am happy with them. I would use them again.

Everything was done in a professional manner

The young man who came out was very nice and worked hard. He did everything they specified that would be done. I had trouble lighting the logs the next day because I was supposed to hold the flame at a different place in the fireplace but wasn't told about that. I take partial responsibility for that as I should have tested it out myself, before the technician left my home. I just wasn't thinking. But I called the company the next day and they sent out two other technicians that very day and were very nice in explaining things to me. The fireplace works great and I'm very happy with the service I received and will definitely use them again in the future. I would recommend them to anyone.

They took everything out of the fireplace, cleaned the logs and put everything back in. They did all the work on a blanket and left my floor as clean as it was when they arrived. Went on the roof and checked the chimney. Very pleased with their work.

The workers cleaned the fireplace, placed new sand, stacked logs properly and showed me how to use it.

Showed up as agreed, very professional, stuck to tasks at hand, and were very curtious. They did it on New Year's Day with a smile.

He was prompt, called to let me know when he was on his way. Did a good job, left everything clean and in good working order.

Gas log tune up and 21-26 point fire safety inspection.

Service Tech Dean did a great job (fixed the issue). Problem was that scheduling department never asked what kind of gas fireplace I had (direct vent) or what the problem was. They sent over fireplace cleaners. Since it required more than just a cleaning they said they would call back to reschedule. I called them the next day to reschedule but they said they had no paperwork back from initial visit and would call me. A week later I still had not received a call and had to call them again to reschedule an appointment with their tech Dean.

I wasn't there but my wife was & according to her, they were in & out & clean up after themselfs & she would use them again.

Prompt courteous and good at what they do.

The service was as advertised, a quick cleaning and 'reset' of the gas logs in the fireplace. I was expecting (and hinted at when I asked how best to do it) them to clean the screens and doors of the fireplace, but it doesn't appear that it is part of the offer. They were on time, clean, professional, and gave me some recommendations. The quick quote given for tuck pointing seemed high at $375.

Provider was great. Punctual and explained everything. We thought the fireplace was broken and needed an expensive part, but the tech was able to get it working.

They tuned our unit up last year and repaired a leak. Last year they made an appointment and then did not show. We had an appointment Saturday as the fire place was not working. Original appointment was 1 to 4 PM. Since they had a no show last year I was nervous at 4 PM and called. The desk assured our tech would be here and he was delayed. No one showed and I did not get any coomunication from them. A no show one time without communication is not good, but twice is a deal breaker for me, especially when you are waiting at home on a Saturday afternoon.

After registering for the service via Angie's List, I sent an email to the provider and left voice mail messages. When we finally connected, the supplier was not available to perform the work within the timeframe requested so we selected another supplier from Angie's List.
