Received a very prompt response after signing up and the service was scheduled at a time convenient for me. Nathan called before arriving which was good since I had been delayed at work. He was very friendly and efficient, showing me the lint he had cleared from the vent and pipes. He did say he had never seen a vent pipe as long as the one I had which was routed through the attic of my garage. It made me wonder about the overall experience of Dr. Sweep with this sort of maintenance. Nathan did start the dryer after completion to verify vent hookup and blow any stray lint from the pipes. All in all a very good experience.

They came and gave a certificate and said I could not use my chimney. They said that my chimney had creosote and the Big Deal did not cover cleaning that. I was not happy with that but we did come to an agreement to have the service provided with an added charge but not as much as the initial proposal. The guy that came was good and he did understand my disappointment.

We bought an Angie's List deal for chimney cleaning and inspection. They did what they needed to do and was satisfactory.

We really appreciated his honesty. He could have lied and charged us a lot of money to fix something that wasn't broke

Tech arrived on time and did a great job. Great communication from beginning to end! Cleaned all gutters on home and inspected roof and chimney. Took video of problem areas that will need to be addressed in the future. Would hire again and highly recommend!

It was very good. The guy Bill was outstanding and so professional. He followed up with me and called. I would use them again. The office personnel to set the scheduling up were terrible. They did not want to honor my coupon because it was slightly different than what they did and their attitude was terrible. Bill apologized for the office personnel and made everything right. I would definitely hire Bill again and he cared about his work and cleaned up everything.

First appointment was cancelled and when they came out a second time, he informed me that there would be a surcharge because the house was over 2500 sq. ft. I informed him and the phone operator who set up my appointment that the house was under 2500 sq. ft. He still did not believe me, but said he would let it slide because I only have 2 gutter runs (one in front of the house, one in the back of the house). That kind of set the tone for the rest of the service, because he was at the house for approximately 10 minutes, and he left. (By the way, my house is 2180 sq. ft......really). Tip: There are good Real Estate sites on the web, (I have used Zillow.com in the past), that will give you information on almost every house in the area, including square footage. (Good tool to use for future jobs, so you can avoid questioning the homeowner.)

They were in and out; did a great job; no mess at all, and I had a coupon, but the price I think was around $200?

We were completely unimpressed with the service offered. I would not recommend them or use this company again.

DR. SWEEP DID NOT PERFORM THE SERVICE ADVERTISED IN THE VOUCHER. INSTEAD, A COMPLETE NEW SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED. SUCCESSFULLY. $1,400 OR THEREABOUTS. IT WORKS WELL, SO FAR. NICE JOB. NICE PEOPLE.

The appearance of the fireplace was greatly improved. We were very satisfied with the service.

The technician cleaned the dryer vent. However, the technician was not prepared to deal with a booster blower we have in our vent. He attempted to remove the vent pipe from the blower to clean it and was unable to do so - I suspect he did not want to spend the time necessary to do it correctly. In attempting to remove the booster fan he untaped one of the connections and was not prepared to re-tape it - we had to provide the tape. In attempting to remove the vent pipe from the booster blower fan he knocked the fan out of balance and, as a result of this, the fan now makes a disturbingly loud noise when in operation. I would suggest not using Dr. Sweep for dryer vent cleaning for anything other than ordinary short run dryer vents.

Just fantastic!!!!! Will be my provider of choice in future

If I have any non-urgent work I wouldn't hesitate to use their service in the future.

Bill was on time and did a perfect job with a challenging task (our fireplace exterior, being stone, is extremely uneven). He did extra work to seal the doors to the stone and it looks gorgeous! I told him the week since he fixed our damper had greatly eliminated the cold blasts that had been entering the house, and this should completely solve the problem. The work Bill did was far better than anything we could have done and it looks terrific. It adds to the value of our home and increases our comfort. I learned that Dr. Sweep also does masonry work (such as tuck pointing and cement repairs) and I will definitely hire them again.

The technicians were very friendly and professional. They worked hard to get all the work done quickly.

Everything went smoothly. We now have a fireplace we can use again. The installer was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

They didn’t have suggestions after the inspection. The guy had to call his boss to ask a few things which is why I gave professionalism a ‘B’, but overall the experience was great! No additional fees with the Big Deal.
