We bought the provider's coupon for 6 man hours of house cleaning. We were having an affair at our house and had recently had our basement finished. Our main floor was the focus and we wanted them to do as much on the upper floor as possible. I read all the reviews on this company before I purchased the coupon and they were generally good. What I found (and others) is that the green cleaning solutions don't work as well on a house that really needs cleaning. Ours did. My husband and I both work a lot so our condo does not get the care it deserves (or needs) so with 2685 square feet, kitchen cabinets that needed attention and dusty blinds, they had their hands full. The crew was very professional and the owner really wanted to make sure they did a good job. Inspecting after they left, I had to use some "not so green" cleaning products in spots on my kitchen cabinet doors. We also noticed that the master bathroom shower had been sprayed with something but not washed down which I didn't like. We scrubbed it and rinsed it and that was fine. Overall for the price and the work to be performed I believe they did a good job. I do believe that in some very nice way they need to say that there are some household situations where their products are not effective and ask the homeowner if they have products they would like used to improve the outcome of the service.

They were courteous and sweet. They did a heck of a job! good workers.

The job went very well and I was happy with the result but he was unable to finish cleaning my 1400 sq ft home in 6 hours. He seemed to spend a lot of time in the two bathrooms upstairs which I did not think needed much cleaning. I was disappointed that the job couldn't be completed but I asked him to come back to finish (as a new/separate job) but he then told me he did not service the city of Troy for regular cleanings - only for the coupon I guess. I asked if he had any recommendations for others that could come and he did not. I was really disappointed by this since this was the reason I purchased the coupon in the first place.

Did excellent cleaning job, very professional, took 8 hours for 2 people. Didn't realize that it would take them each that long. They did not break to eat and I although the final fee was a little more than I anticipated, they worked hard and the place looked terrific when they finished.

I am very happy with Maid Green. Nelson is a pleasure to work with.

Keren is wonderful. She works very very hard and is so pleasant and friendly. I would recommend this group to anyone. The house is cleaned meticulously every time.

There was significant snow fall that day so the young ladies were a bit late getting there. I did not mind that. However, the cleaning was not anywhere near my first experience with the company. I had to request a redo in one of the bathrooms while they were still there; a basic part of the cleaning. Then discovered later that there were similar oversights in the other bathroom. Mirrors in house were streaked in attempt to clean. I take responsibility for not inspecting better before they left.

We will use them again in the future.

The service provided was average. I had requested two people due to the size of the house and only one showed due to un-forseen circumstances. The man who cleaned the house arrived about 45 minutes late, however he did call and let me know he was running late. There some 'nooks and crannies' not addressed - found some clumps of hair left over in the bathroom. The kitchen cleaning was very good. I had asked him to leave a list of areas that he was not able to address within the time limit and he did not do this. Therefore, I'm not sure if the areas I found unsatisfactory were unfinished or not. I'm not sure if I would hire the company again for a routine cleaning, but the Angie's List coupon was a good deal.

I needed my whole house cleaned before Thanksgiving, as my son and his wife were coming to stay with us. The company owner, Nelson Alaya, came to clean our house with a young woman whom he said he was training. They were both very nice and worked really hard for three hours. Nelson vacuumed and dusted, and got rid of cobwebs. His coworker cleaned 2 1/2 bathrooms and the kitchen. I was hoping for the bathroom tile floors to be scrubbed, but since they had to clean the whole almost 2,000 sq. ft. house, there wasn't time. But in the end, I was happy to have the entire house straightened (our work) and cleaned. Also, the green products were great, as I am hypersensitive to scents, so a lot of cleaning products give me a headache. Whatever Nelson was using to clean the wood furniture made it shine. I work in a green building, and I rarely have headaches there. Nelson is earnest about wanting satisfied customers. He asked me to inspect their work and to make suggestions for how they could improve their service. He is very personable, and I felt very comfortable having him in the house. I thought the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner, which is why I graded the quality B instead of A. However, I do think if I called and told Nelson that I needed my bathroom floors scrubbed, he would make that happen! I wholeheartedly recommend Maid Green, Inc.

Not bad, but not excellent. I hired them to clean my house when I was 9 months pregnant and outsourced my nesting because I was finishing grad school. They came on time and were very professional. At first I thought they wouldn't have enough house to clean in the 3 hours the two of them were here, but what seemed to be fast work in the beginning slowed down and they only did the 2nd floor (2 bed, 1 bath) and part of the first (1 1/2 bath), leaving a hallway, foyer, dining room, kitchen, and most of the living room untouched (our house is 1500 square feet, all hardwood). I admit that our house DID need cleaning but some of their work made me think they usually did pre-cleaned houses. I found cobwebs in the corners of three places that they had cleaned (pretty easy to miss). In our main bathroom there were toothpaste spots/streaks that didn't get cleaned off the sink, the bathtub jets weren't clean out (though she did run water through them but they required a deeper clean - I guess they didn't bring the tools required to clean jets), our toilet far from sparkled (when I asked about it they said that I'd need to go to the store and buy an industrial cleaner - that their green products wouldn't cut it), and some of my window sills were still dirty/dusty in rooms they had cleaned. When the time was up they did offer to extend the coupon and let us buy another 6 man-hours for $150 in order to finish the house the next day but I wasn't impressed with their work and decided it wasn't worth it. Overall they were nice (and our cats loved following them around) and would probably do well if you clean your house regularly or if you have them come regularly, but they weren't a good match for my needs.

The cleaning was excellent; the woman who came was very careful and thorough. (The only issue I had was with a bit of difficulty in scheduling; I had scheduled a specific day with 2 women for 2 hours ea., but was called the day before and told the scheduled people were "not available" and could we reschedule, which I did. Ultimately, only one person came, and she worked for the full 4 hours instead.) The woman who came pretty much worked off a list which I provided, and she did everything i asked - including getting some dried wax (from pumpkin carving & lighting!) off of my hardwood kitchen floors!!

Fast, thorough and very pleasant to deal with.

Provider was prompt, professional, and very detailed. We have since brought them on as our bi-monthly cleaners.

The housekeep was promptly on time. She was very polite and listened to what I asked of her. She was thorough and went above and beyond my expectations. She cleaned spots on the wall and doors and even cleaned my kitchen window. I am going to use this service again and would recommed them to anyone.

My husband was really impressed when you arrived for our consultation and commented on how professional you were during this visit. I really appreciated how pleasant and polite you were. Words can never begin to express how GREAT I felt after you left my home. You arrived promptly on time as promised and did a FANTASTIC job with our home. I really appreciated the wonderful housecleaning service that you provided for us. Everything was clean and SPARKLED when you left. My husband and I were delighted with results. I never thought our home could ever be as clean as it was when you finished. You did a WONDERFUL JOB! Update- The owner did call and offer to have someone come out and clean the missed areas at no additional cost. I had already done the cleaning myself, so I declined his offer but appreciate that he cares about his business and reaches out to customers in a very cordial and polite manner. Based on the other reviews, I think that we just unfortunately had a random off-day with our experience. I was so excited to hire a house cleaner for the first time to help out with some non-everyday cleaning that we just haven't had time to get to (cobwebs in the corners, dusting, wiping down the kitchen cabinets, etc.), but we were really disappointed. Only some of the baseboards were wiped/dusted and they weren't vacuumed under. Some of the ceiling fans were dusted, some weren't. The bathroom vanity lights and fixtures weren't cleaned and our jetted tub wasn't cleaned well. The mirrors that were cleaned (not all were) have water streaks coming down from the top. The kitchen counters weren't wiped nor were the fronts of the kitchen cabinets. The bathroom floors weren't vacuumed or mopped, or if they were, the edges and corners were skipped. And, there was a huge wet area on the carpet outside of one of the bathrooms that we're waiting to find it out if any discoloration occurs from whatever cleaning solution might have been in the water that spilled. The only things I noticed that were done well were the microwave cleaning, the kitchen sink cleaning, and polishing the fronts of the stainless steel appliances. I give Maid Green a B overall because setting up the cleaning and dealing with the company went really well, but the actually cleaning left a lot to be desired.

We had moved the day before Karen arrived so the home was empty. She went right to work and cleaned all cabinets-in and out, cleaned all appliances, kitchen counter space, sink, bathroom including tub/shower doors/sink/mirror. It was "shining clean" and wet-moped the floor. One bedroom on the first floor needed extra TLC due our move and she insured the walls, baseboards were clean. In her vacuuming, she did all the baseboards and insured everything was clean. Karen insured the upper level bedrooms wood floors were clean and shiny and wiped down whatever needed attention. I would like to say I did not communicate with very much as I returned to the home the day after the move to strickly clean our basement. I advised Karen to take breaks/lunch as she wanted too. She did NOT take any breaks. She was aware that after her six hours of cleaning I was having the carpet professionally cleaned- hopefully immediately following her stay. I really believe she did not take any breaks -(oh my) as she was aware of the time frame. She finished just short of the six hours and she asked if I needed anything else done. It was at that juncture that she said she did not want to take a break as she knew what I was planning and would take a "lunch" break when she left for another job! I felt really bad. Karen did a great job and was extremely pleased. I even received a call from the companies boss to ask how things were going. What a surprise to have a follow-up call. What timing, - she pulled away and the carpet cleaning service arrived! I highly recommend this company and will have them again at our new home-maybe once a month

My house hasn't been cleaner since we moved in. Everything was shining and beautiful.

They arrived right on time. After asking if we had any concerns or any areas of the house that we wanted them to focus on, they got right to work. We returned later in the day to a clean home. Maid Green came in and did exactly what they advertised and were very professional when interacting with us.

It went well. Nelson and his crew did a good job and arrived on time. I tried to hire them again and kept putting my calls off and he needed to call his manager. He called back and said his commute was too far so he couldn’t come back. I would not use this provider again in the future because they said they wouldnt drive the distance when they have before.

At first I was worried becuase 3 days after my purchase I did not hear from them to set up my appoitment. However, once I called them and explained they apologized a lot. From that moment on they were great. I also received quotes for future cleanings.
