Mark (the owner) came and gave me the estimate, and we agreed upon a start date and how long it would take. Work started on time with the painting. Mark did the painting himself; was always prompt; took reasonable lunch breaks; cleaned up at the end of each day, making it as livable as possible for us. When it came to moving appliances he brought in another man and the equipment to move them safely. They were, again, prompt and hard working. There were a couple of trips to the local hardware store for items to plumb the washer in its new location. At this time, I decided to tear out the ceramic tile what was the laundry room. I asked Mark about the drywall repair and additional outlets, and he quoted me for labor and materials, as well as time. The entire project was started on Tues, and completed on Saturday afternoon...a half day longer than the original estimate, including the addition of drywall and extra outlets.
Description of Work: Painted great room, foyer and hallway, inclusive of ceilings, doors and trim. Moved washer and dryer from first floor to basement, with all new hook-ups, plumbing and electrical. Added additional outlets on first floor. Replaced drywall on first floor where ceramic tile had been removed.

Description of Work: Mark painted my Great Room, Foyer, and Hallway (approx 450 sq ft). The service included the ceilings (vaulted) and all window/door trim and baseboards, as well as the walls. Every hole and imperfection was filled and sanded. All the lines are clean...the ceiling and trim are white, the walls colored. No detail was left unattended, and Mark worked alone the first 3 days prepping and painting. He was on time every morning and worked straight through the day, with a short break for lunch. Funiture and other surfaces were always protected, and nothing was damaged in any way at the end of the project. At the end of every day, he cleaned up to make the activities of daily living as convienient as possible during the 3 days of work. On the final day, Mark brought in another gentleman, Dan, and they moved my very large washer and dryer from the first floor laundry room to the basement, where they re-routed the electrical outlet (220) and plumbed the washer for a standpipe drain (instead of a drain hose in the sink), as well as installing new vent piping and a new vent to the outside for the dryer. Upon completion, everything ran beautifully, the area was spotless. Both Mark and Dan were polite, pleasant, and the definition of professional. At the end of the projects, you would have never know contractors had been in my house except that it was exceptionally more beautiful and functional than it was before. I am currently looking for more things to have Mr. Aszurek (Mark) and his associates do to improve the asthetics and functionality of my home.
