Well, in the first week. Steve was johnny-on-the-spot. Everything we wanted was done without question. His crew was wonderful, knew what to do and did it well. Very pretty tile work. (Steve did not do the tile work, only the plumbing and the setting up of the shower floor) After a few days though he kept leaving me in the lurch. I suspect he was starting up new jobs elsewhere, kept calling up and saying he'll be there the next day. I had to call several times to get him to respond. He did not want to finish the job. He had his crew come back, slap some trim up and leave. I called him again and told him that the work looked like CRAP, wanted him to come back, take it down and finish it to my liking. No response for over a week. Finally he came back to my house personally and he did it the night my husband came home from work early. Not good for Steve. Steve wanted more money, some of the balance owed. Had a face-to-face with my husband. No monies were to be paid until the crap work was pulled down and replaced well and to my liking. That if I was happy with everything, then he'll get the balance owed. Steve sent his crew. They knew nothing about what happend with Steve, they knew the work was bad but they had to follow orders or they would not get paid. The crew did a wonderfuld job. I was very happy at the end. Steven was paid. I did not like how Steve handled his business. Artistic Renovations will never remodel my second bathroom, ever.
