Classic Design Stone and Tile LLC

Herb did a great job tiling my bathroom. He was professional, courteous, and super helpful. I got quotes from 4 other tile contractors before hiring Herb and we decided to go with Herb for several reasons. First, he was the only tile contractor who wanted to waterproof the shower himself. The other contractors relied on the plumber to do it. We liked the fact that Herb wanted to take responsibility for the entire shower. Second, he was very responsive and willing to answer my questions and provide design suggestions during the planning stages, even before I hired him to do the work. Third, he was referred by my sales consultant at the tile store. Later I discovered he was also highly recommended by my salesperson at the kitchen and bath store. During the job, Herb consulted me several times and helped me make decisions on some details based on my personal preference, such as whether or not to use the enhancer for the pebble tile. (I do like the enhanced stones, by the way.) Herb also suggested and installed a chrome edging on the tile base molding, which looks great and saved me some money by using cut tile for the base instead of the more expensive bullnose. Another exciting suggestion that Herb made was to put radiant heat flooring under the tile, which he installed easily. Herb and his helper were friendly, hard working, and did not make a mess, like some other contractors do. They even helped me save my dog on one afternoon when she slipped her collar and ran into a busy street! Herb is a very talented tile installer and skilled craftsman. I asked him to show me his portfolio and I was impressed by the beautiful marble, stone, and tile mosaics he created. He also showed me pictures of beautiful showers, backsplashes, floors, and even a very cool fire pit he made from tile and stone. My bathroom looks beautiful. I am very happy with Classic Design Stone and Tile, and I highly recommend them.
