 + -1 moreVery well. I live more than 1000 miles away and needed a good set of eyes to inspect the home. Very pleasant to work with. Also, provided the written report to me in the same day and reviewed everything with me over the telephone. Seemed very objective and realistic.

 + -1 moreHe walked through every bit of the house with us and explained everything he saw. He answered all of our questions so that we could understand the work that needed to be done. He provided a detailed, comprehensive, written report in a timely manner and emailed it to us. We were very happy with the thorough job that he did on the inspection and would be happy to recommend him to others. He missed the peeling tub hiding under the bathmat, but he caught many other things that we would have missed without him.
Description of Work: Kenneth Maxwell completed a detailed home inspection prior to my home purchase.

 + -1 moreThe information I received from this home inspection paid for itself many times over. This was a true investigation not just a report of the obvious. Unfortunately, Ken could not refer someone to do another inspection in Oak Park for me. I looked at my last Chicagoland inspection and wasn't impressed. I hired a different company that was referred to me by a friend and wasn't impressed with their "report" either. I wish I had asked Ken to make the 90 minute drive at my expense to do this inspection too.
Description of Work: Home inspection on a 2 flat in Three Oaks/New Buffalo Michigan. If you have a weekend place in Michigan, or you are buying a home on the South East side of the Chicagoland area, you should consider Accutek since he's only about an hour away. However, I'm sure he is not licensed in IL.
