Initially I phoned Pete because my refrigerator was not working. He made me wait 24 hours before he came to the house. I put in a part. It worked. I thought, great. I think I'll have Pete fix my ice maker. He ordered the ice maker. A week later he put it in my fridge. Before he left my home I said that I didn't think it was working because I couldn't hear the water coming into the fridge. He said, it was and that I was not listening correctly. He left. 4 hours later I called him and said it wasn't working. He said he'd be over the next day. The next day he came over and verified that it was not working and said that it was probably because the water filter was plugged. He said he'd order a new filter. A week later I called and he said the filter 'just arrived' and that he would be over the next day. He came over and put in the new filter. Still the ice maker did not work. He said that it probably needed 'to have the line pierced' again. He went out and bought another part, came back, pierced the line and it still did not work. He said that it probably needed a new solenoid and that he would order one. A week later I call and ask if the part came in. He said that it did but that it was broke and that he would order another. A week later I call and he said that it just came in and that he would be over the next day. On January 4 he arrived an put in 1/2 the part to see if that would fix the problem. It didn't. Then he put in the second half of the part. I finally had water pressure in the ice maker but he put the hose on backward and it disconnected and a fountain of water spewed water all over my kitchen before it could be stopped. Then Pete left and said the ice maker would work. I checked and it didn't. Pete came back and said that ice was probably clogging the line. He cleaned the line. It had pressure again and he left. Three hours later I checked the ice maker and there was no water inside. I called Pete and he said to wait until Saturday because that is how long it takes to verify that it isn't working. I checked my freezer at 8 in the evening and everything inside was melting - everything. I didn't have a working ice maker and now I had no working freezer or fridge. All my food was thawing, the fridge was running constantly and I tried to call Pete. He turns off his phone for the weekend and his physical address is that of a storage facility! I had to do a Google search to find out his last name. I started calling names in the phone book and found a relative who called Pete but his cell phone only took messages. I Googled some more and found the number that his relative wouldn't give to me and left Pete a message telling him that I was losing all of my food. He did not respond. He totally broke my fridge and took my money and is hiding.
