HOLLAND'S FLORAL & GIFTS

My teenager searched online for a florist near Oakland University where his girlfriend is a student. We live in Dearborn. He placed the order on Thursday, February 10th for the flowers to be delivered on Valentine's Day, the following Monday. He called me from work at 6:00PM on Valentine's Day to say she had not received anything. I called Holland's and spoke with Anna. It took her 20 minutes to finally find the order. She said somehow it had not been filled. She told me "this has only ever happened once before". She said we can probably get something out tonight and I wil call your son. I spoke to my son 30 minutes later and he said Anna had called him but never offered to deliver anything that evening but would send something the next day. He had school the next day so I called in the morning and spoke with Suzanne who right away had an attitude. I explained the situation and she said they were sending the arrangement and she had to speak to Mr. Holland so see what they could do to make things right. I called again two hours later and Suzanne said she was still trying to get in touch with Mr. Holland. Well, they did send the flowers - the day AFTER Valentine's day and here it is Thursday and STILL NO WORLD FROM MR. HOLLAND. We were charged full price of what we ordered. I expected them to be free of charge. That's what Viviano's would have done and I will only use them from now on. My son made a special effort to find a florist near the university. Mr. Holland owes my son an apology. He is 18 and works a minimum wage job while in school and $40 is a lot of money to him. Shame on you, Mr. Holland.
