I just want people to be spared the same grief we went through. Once he had our deposit that is where it went bad. He doesn't return any of your calls and will only text you. The landscaping on the hill was never done and the steps were installed but very poor craftmanship as they are falling off. Then we became part of his ploy to rid himself of any and all debt. Basically took our money and took off.

I’d rather not leave a review than leave a bad one, but I don’t want someone to go through what we have. We paid a deposit and months went by with no work. There’d be work for a few days and then weeks of nothing. Continual calls/texts were ignored or we were given empty promises. I have 16 “promises” that work would be done “by Friday”. We specifically asked for a cement foundation (shed) and received wood (after the fact we were told “I don’t think I can get a cement truck in your backyard”). We have asked no less than 10 times for the remaining trim pieces to be dropped off (and we would install ourselves) and cannot get a response from Jason. 14 months later and our project is not truly complete. We paid him almost $30,000 so I would think that at least would earn us a call back. If you like to think about your landscaping more than enjoying it than by all means call Legacy, but if you want someone that does what they say and in a reasonable time frame I would hire someone else. He does offer a 1 year warranty on plants/trees, but when we told him some of the trees were dying he blew us off saying we need to water more. We were over watering if anything. Also, he over uses inexpensive plants and does not purchase and plant the ones on his own drawings. We NEVER would have agreed to 21 hydrangeas and over 30 day lilies no matter how much we liked them. Lastly, his contract states he will return all disturbed areas to the way they were previous to his work. We wouldn’t have thought throwing down grass seed in late November is what that meant.

They did great! Great personality and good quality work. Highly recommended

It took some time, but the work turned out excellent.

At first, he told us he would start us as the first customer of the season but we were not able to get him to start the work until April 30th. Once he started the work, they did an excellent job and his design concepts were amazing. The work that they did was high quality. We are very pleased with the work done, but the only thing is we would ask that he not over promise on the start date.

Jason is dishonest and has extremely poor communication. There were numerous delays to the start of the project to the point that I gave up on the project ever getting started. After over a month of delays and no clear start date, I asked for my deposit to be returned. It has now been over six weeks since I requested a refund of my deposit and I still have not received it and I'm under the impression that it will take legal action in order to get it back.
