Description of Work: It was difficult to schedule and they were late. But they performed the services that they had to perform and did not damage anything. I got what I paid for. They cancelled my appointment twice because they were either short of staff or had equipment problems. So for what I paid for them, I had to put up with a little bit of inconvenience.

Description of Work: They didn't show up and when I called the told me that they had tried to confirm the day prior (they didn't) and that since they couldn't get ahold of me they took me off the schedule. When I insisted they send a truck they sent a truck too small and with no moving supplies. My husband would up making three extra trips with our own truck.

Description of Work: They where very late and then called to say that it was raining so they could not move us. Rain cleared about 2 hours later but no call. I was very nice about the whole thing. They said they would call back to see if they could get us in the next day or the day after that. I called to help make this happen but no. They didn't and they didn't seam to care either. Totally blew us off.

Description of Work: They were constantly late. They were supposed to arrive at 3pm on a Friday. By 8 pm that night they told me that they could arrive at 10pm that nite or by 9AM that Saturday morning. They did not show up till around 10:30 AM the following Saturday morning. I spoke with their dispatch person multiple times and told them to make sure they had dish packs because I needed them to help me pack up the kitchen. They showed up with no dish packs which means I had to go to Home Depot and spend $120.00 on dish packs for them to use. Then they told me that they accepted credit cards but on a Saturday they told me after we had been working for a couple hours that their credit card machine was broken and I needed to go and get cash to pay them. Good thing the bank was still open when they finally told me this. In addition, after the left behind things at the previous apartment which means I had to go back there all by myself and complete the job myself. They did give me a 10% discount due to being so late. The guys on the truck worked hard but were just not thorough and seemed to be constantly rushed and overbooked. I would not use them again to be honest.

Description of Work: Moved from a 2BR/2BA condo to a slightly larger condo. | |When you hire movers, there are only a few things you want: | |1) Punctuality/respect of your time: Move time set for 9 AM and called to say would be about an hour late but did not arrive until 10:30 with no further communication. Not a great start. | |2) Move your stuff from A to Z. They brought a truck that was too small (we did not have that much stuff either) because their other truck was being repaired. Hence, they could not move everything at once and would have had to take another trip. Rather than pay for an additional hour of travel time, we ended up moving our extra stuff on our own. Granted, I called the office and they did take 45 min off the charges given the problem with the truck (which they had not called me about previously). | |3)Move the stuff without damaging the home or the stuff. There were several instances of drawers falling to the ground and also an instance of a gash in the wall. While this stuff happens from time to time, I emailed the company about the wall gash with no response whatsoever (not even a polite apology) | |4) Do it for a reasonable price. This, they definitely did as with a 70 for 170 coupon from Yelp and the 45 min off, the price was really good. That being said, you also get what you pay for and clearly, there were some issues with punctuality, bringing the appropriate equipment, not causing damages, etc. The movers were very nice and polite although perhaps not the most professional. Finally, my receipt was handwritten on a notepad and I had to ask to take a picture of it to actually have a receipt. Despite the website saying I could pay by credit card, this was not the case (cash or check only). | |So, in the end, my stuff got moved and it was cheap but probably not the company I'd go to in general...

Description of Work: I purchased the big deal for $75 for 2 Movers for One Hour. This time, they did not show up to the appointment. They called back later in the day but we had already handled what we wanted done so we never were able to use the coupon this time.

Description of Work: I purchased The Big Deal, $399 for a Moving Truck and 2 Movers for 3 Hours. They did a very good job! We’d absolutely use them again if needed. They were courteous, on time, and generally great. The price was reasonable with our Angie’s List coupon.

Description of Work: They moved some items from my garage into my house, removed an old furnace from my basement, and took 2 appliances from my home to my daughter's house. My only disappointment was that this moving service did not come with a truck, so I had to rent a U-Haul to move the appliances from my house to my daughter's house. They were professional and went the extra mile to make sure that everything was as it should be. Great guys, and I would highly recommend them to anyone else.

Description of Work: This was my second use of this company--this time, they moved my Mother from a senior citizen apartment to a private home. Just like the first time when they moved me, they made two stops, assisted with arranging furniture, were pleasant and professional without being too casual....these guys are GREAT! I can't recommend them enough. Plan to use them again when my house is finished.
