DOUGS HANDYMAN SERVICE

Doug can do very simple repairs. Most of the time he had to bring someone with him to do the work, even some very simple repairs. His prices are higher than average. He rarely calls back and did so recently after a long time. Not a bad guy and is honest.

Jim told me that the water was standing still over the doorway and water had to be directed both ways as the gutter was too long. Gutter in the front and on just about every house in the neighborhood was same length and were working. There is a part of the house that extends out in the back but I saw later on that it didn't affect the gutter. He also replaced a board that was on the edge of the roof of the deck and charged me extra for that. He used my hose didn't put it back and threw the old board along side my garage. We finally had some snow which started to melt and the water landed on the deck. I thought I'd wait for another storm to actually see what was happening. We had some summer weather and my health was bad so I put off calling. My son in law told me to call so I did and Jim came out. Doug's was owned by three generations of James Jacobs it is now two generations. Jim put everything back as it was except for the patch in my gutter, didn't put my hose back, and took the new board with him and only charged me $175.00 to do it.To add insult to injury he offered to stain my deck for $500.00. The water still stands in the middle of the gutter

I have used them a couple times. They respond very quickly and get the work done quickly. He did everything I asked him to do. He is very reasonably priced.
