Buyer's Choice Realty

Here's what happened. I was shopping for a home in Battle Creek. I thought I'd use a Buyer's Agent - someone to look after MY interests, not try to push me into something I don't want. I called Buyer's Choice and got voicemail. I left a message. The next day I didn't get a call back so I called again. A few hours later I noticed that no one called me back. I called again and this time I called the cell number. Voice Mail again. Still no call back. Two or three days later I finally get a call back. Here's what she told me: Oh, um yeah.... I guess you didn't get my message. If you're way in B.C. and you are only looking to spend $_____ then it's really not worth my time. I have expenses and overhead and I just can't go all over showing houses. I politely told her that I understood, but I was really irritated. DO NOT CALL THIS WOMAN. If she's not willing to spend a few hours for a $1500 commission then she doesn't deserve my business the next time I'm house hunting.

I found Sandy online. We were looking to relocate from Chicago to Kalamazoo, and I didn't know anyone here and was looking for a BUYER'S agent. Sandy got back to us immediately. I gave her a list of locations we were interested in viewing and we set it up for the following weekend. Day of viewing we met Sandy at the parking lot off 94 at Oakland and started viewing. She basically had every location we wanted to see memorized, told us all about each neighborhood, pros and cons, she has an eagle eye for details, too. Everytime I mentioned something I was going to miss about Chicago, she could come up with a restaurant or store to try and told us all about festivals and events in town. Our second visit we brought my Mother with to see the properties we were interested in. After that we decided on our house and Sandy was able to recommend a great set of inspectors for us, get us hooked up with a mortgage specialist and went through the whole process of making the offer and countering on the house. I don't want to say she "held our hands" through the process, because that makes us sound pathetic, but she was really helpful with suggestions and explaining the whole process. We would wholeheartedly recommend Sandy as your next buyer's agent, she'll look out for YOUR best interests. We love our new home.
