It went very well. They identified all the areas the bats were using to get in and installed "one way exits". Then they sealed up any other possible openings they might try to get in.

Professional quotation and Service - I would recommend the crew that did the work on my house to any homeowner. Both the gutter cleaning and windows in and out were done professionally.

I contacted B&B on 10/9/2013. Appointment was made for next day.
The reason I contacted B&B was because I have been hearing intermittent rhythmic scratching in a room on the main floor of my house throughout the entire summer. The noise appeared to be coming from the outside wall beneath the window. It had been going a few months when I realized that the critter must be in the wall of my home and not outside.
So here's where B&B comes in. I called Christine on 10/9. We scheduled appointment for 10/10. A 2 man crew arrived during the time window Christine gave me. They performed the inspection. They appeared professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. The line items below outline what was done:
-- Whole house inspection = $169 (minus $10 Angie's List coupon).
(Inspected attic - found mouse evidence and one dead bat. Could not gain access to attic in area of noise.*)
* NOTE: The noise is on the MAIN floor near outside wall and flooring.
The scratching was heard again later that day and each day since!!!
$1,400 later and I still have critter problem.
Clearly I feel like an idiot. I now question if there really was a dead bat in my attic or if the guy didn't have it already with him while the other guy was distracting me in the basement.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I also (often times) mistakenly trust people when I shouldn't. I do hope B&B reads this review and offers some money back, or at the very least, find the d*mn critter that keeps scratching!!!

- -- Close off 5 roof returns. (Each caulk job was $175) = $875!!!
- -- Install steel screen over front gable vent = $175.

"[member name removed], I have just received a review dated December 15, 2013 @ 9:06 am thru email from Angies List, as well as paper hard copy post dated 12/11/13. I am confused and a bit upset that your review was dated back in October and I am just now getting word that you have an issue with services rendered. Up until now I have never received a phone call from you regarding any issue. If I am unaware that an issue has transpired it cannot be resolved. Per our conversation 12/17/2013, you stated that you never called B&B to give them the chance to do a reckeck. Somewhere there has been a timeline delay in communication. I'm glad that I got the chance to hear your side, at any rate B&B has agreed to your request. I will be looking into this further with Angie's List as I have other reviews that have not gotten to me. Cleary I can understand frustration on all ends. I deeply apologize, this would never has transpired had we talked personally."

I was pleased with them. It was costly but was a large job. I do think the price was comparable however. Everything seems to be fine now. I only wish there would have been a clean-up afterwards. In fairness to them I didn't mention it but I was not home at the time, my husband was.

"Member, I'm pleased to hear that all went well with your service and your problem was addressed. Almost all pest issues can be resolved thru our inside/outside full house inspection. Treatment/Trapping or simply exclusion can be done on site, however cleanup of fecal matter left behind is another issue. Please call me if you feel that you would like to have cleanup/insulation R&R (removal and replace), I have several referral sources on hand. Until next time, have a great new year."

Unfortunately, we found out on a home inspection that we had bats in our attic and we wanted them taken care of as soon as possible. Even though they were booked solid, Christine in the office was fabulous and got us in for the next day. Bill and Scott came out to the house, inspected it and suggested a course of action. They did a great job of explaining everything and were fabulous about it, even though I was not exactly thrilled with the situation!! After the estimate, they performed the work immediately, found a couple of other issues we needed to take care of, including a blocked dryer vent (likely from a squirrel) and finished within a couple of hours. The following day, I saw they drove by to check their work. Two weeks after the installation of the bat tube, Christine called to find out if the problem appeared to be resolved (which it was!), and said they would be out to remove the bat tube and seal the opening. When I arrived home, all was done.
