 + -1 moreHe arrived on time, removed the old door/track/springs, installed the new one, leveled it, adjusted the springs, & gave me some info on maintaining it. He was very friendly, straight forward, and he struck me as honest. The only caveat is he only takes cash. I assume this helps since he was by far the lowest price in town. The door is of good quality and works great (2 months later). I would highly recommend A&D doors!
Description of Work: I had a 1970's garage door on my detached garage. The mounting brackets for the springs sheered off one day when I closed the door. I called 5 or 6 places--most wanted at LEAST $1000 to replace it (with a non-insulated door). I called A&D and he told me he could install a non-insulated door with new clearance tracks (extra $ with some places) for $725.

 + -1 moreHe arrived and got right to work. The service call was $65 and that would have went towards parts if we needed them. He found that the setting needed to be adjusted and tuned everything up and oiled the springs while he was at it. He also proactively offered to set up a new code on the pass code entry box and asked to check all of the remotes which I would have forgotten about. We only had one remote so he had extras with him and was able to sell me two more and set them up. He also changed the battery for me in the old one. All in all I really appreciated him taking care of everything. Will call him again if we ever have issues!
Description of Work: We purchased a new house and the garage door was not working. Another contractor recommended Dave and indicated he was excellent. I called Dave and he was able to come out within the next couple of days and was very flexible with me due to my work schedule.
