+ -1 moreEXCELLENT. The key arrived at the proper time and the store contacted me with the detail that not only was the key in, but it opened the lock!
Description of Work: Randy at GC Ace was helping me look for a specific Master brand key padlock to match an existing lock I had. I lost the key but had the key code. Master Lock Co. suggested I look for a matching one at any store. Randy offered to contact Master for a replacement key. This is a service Master should have offered to me but did not mention when I contacted their cust. service dept. Randy volunteered that detail to me and saved me time and a locksmith's fee to cut a new key. Randy took my information, and kept the lock to make sure that when Master delivered the key, it would open/work properly. Now I have a functioning lock with key.

screen repair
+ -1 moreThe price for screen repair is very low, but the selection is limited (no pet screen) and the quality is poor. The screen they created did not stay tight within the frame. The frame itself did not have mitered corners, just weak plastic corners that did not hold the frame tight. The screen popped out of the frame within a week. I returned the screen and asked that it be repaired. When I retured to pick it up I found that the screen was changed, and that the plastic corner holders were cracked and fell out of the frame. I told the employees that I was not going to pay for the repair until the corners were also replaced. They told me to call the store later and speak to ''the screen guy'' because they didn't do screen work, there was nothing they could do. I decided to go to a more expensive, but better quality store (ACE).
Description of Work: They created a new screen and repaired the screen (poorly) when it fell apart within the first week.
