Swift Garage Door Repairs

He did a wonderful job. I am really happy with the work. He was kind and thorough. The only thing I did not like was the fact that it $140 more than the initial quote

BUYER BEWARE - The tech lied, and the company won't stand by what he sold me. I suppose I should have been more wary when they had to come look at my garage to provide a quote instead of giving me prices over the phone like everyone else did. The tech quoted prices for the repair including either a 5 or 10 year parts AND labor warranty. Thank God I was smart enough not to purchase the 10-year plan for an additional $50 because I discovered upon signing the receipt after the work was done that the warranty DID NOT include labor as I had been told. The tech told me, "Don't worry. They'll take care of you." I immediately called the company and requested a commitment in writing for what I had purchased, only to be told many times that a 90-day labor warranty is industry standard, and she wasn't there to verify what I had been told. I explained I wasn't interested in industry standard and reiterated that the tech had repeatedly assured me that I purchased a 5-year parts AND labor warranty, even going so far as to say it didn't matter because the spring wasn't going to break in 5 years. I also told her that I would have used a different company to perform the repair if in fact I'd been told the warranty did not include labor. She closed the conversation indicating that she would have to talk to the owner, and someone would call me back in 48 hours. As of my writing this review, they have not called me. As for the repair itself, it seems to be quality, as the springs were replaced and my garage door is working. However, I'm not confident I can trust I actually received the 10,000 cycle springs I was told I purchased, or that I won't need to replace them before the 5-year window. UPDATE:The company has since emailed me indicating they agree with me and have supplied, in writing, a 5 year parts and labor warranty.
