I purchased a new home last week and wanted to replace the old garage door opener because it was very loud, only had opener, and did not have any auto reversing safety features. I called Tarnow Doors and booked an appointment. I received a phone call the day of the installation and they confirmed an approximate arrival time. The installers arrived on time, removed the old opener, installed the new opener, and cleaned up after the job. I'm very pleased with their work and I would recommend them.

When we originally bought the doors and built the house, they exploed lots of possibilites and finally arrived at a custon garage door design that's perfect and oversize entry house doors that look like the most elegant wood but have the insulation and wearability nor available in real wood. They come out and step by step lubricate and check the garage door and touch up and seal the house doors.They're great.

The technician who came to my home was Gerald. He was prompt, efficient and professional. He took the time needed to explain the situation to me but still finished the job quickly.

My neighbor reccommended this company and when I saw good reviews here I gave them a call. They scheduled me the very next morning which was wonderful because my door was half open and I didn't want a critter/theft issue. Received a call at the start of my window that the service person would be there within 1//2 hour which he was. The man fixed and lubricated the entire door, gave me care instructions to keep this issue from happening again, and was off in his van in less than 45 minutes! You can't hear my door working now which is an added bonus. I wouldn't think twice about calling this company again.

Gary was very helpful, professional and personable. He knew exactly what he was doing and did a fine job. He was very precise and it did not take him a long time to complete his work. He called when he was on his way and was very punctual. Although I had to take off from work to have the work done, I was able to go to work as soon as he finished, without much disruption in my day. I thought that the price he charged me was fair. I am very pleased with Tarnow's work and would recommend them highly. Even the person I initially spoke with on the phone was very personable. They were wonderful. They did not charge me for the service because we ended up replacing the entire door. They were the best with everything. They were outstanding.

There was nothing that stood out to me about them. They were professional and they were not pushy. The reason I did not go with them was their price.

They gave us a discount and it was less than their phone estimate because they didn't have to use as many springs. We were really pleased. The guy was very nice and we would use them again.

The gentleman who did the estimates was personable and efficient. We had pretty much decided before he came that we were probably going to replace the door which was 20 years old. We got a discount as Angie's List users which helped. We were impressed with the warranties and we do have the feeling that if we ever had a problem, the solution would be a phone call away. The installer seemed capable and everything came off as expected. Door and opener work beautifully.

The tech showed up on time and did the work very quickly. Show us what repairs were done and demonstrated the working door. He advised me to lube the doors' moving parts at least twice a year. Tarrow had the lowest prices and timing of any of the 5 repair companies I contacted.

The man who came out told me it would need a very extensive overhaul including removing the door frame from the brick surround outside the house and removing and replacing the interior door. His estimated cost was over $350. I then called the company that installed the door and they came out and were able to repair the door jamb without having to take the entire structure apart. They replaced the damaged part of jamb, painted it, and installed new hardware for $178.00.

I wold recommend them to others. They were prompt. They came when they said they would. I had no problems with them.

Quick response to the call. Service was provided on a Saturday. They should have checked that the door stayed up without electricity on the original call.

My 20-year old garage door opener malfunctioned so I called Tarnow Doors who installed the door and opener originally. They came out the next day at the appointed time and determined that the opener needed to be replaced. The technician explained that the opener could be repaired but the cost for parts and labor would be the same if not more than installing a new unit. He installed the new unit and hauled away the old one. After installation, he lubricated the door hinges and bearings. He also installed a keypad entry which we didn't have before. The technician demonstrated how to use all of the new devices and answered all my questions. All the work was done for the price originally quoted.

They are very good. They do a good job and we will definitely use them again.

About a year after the installation, I noticed I can not manually lock the garage doors when I am away from home for an extended period of time. I have contacted Tarnow 4 or 5 times. They refuse to send anyone out to rectify the situation. They are rude on the phone.

I was disappointed with the communication. They didn't call me after the door was in and I didn't know until I called them a week later, but the door was installed well and we were pleased with it.

I liked the service they gave me, as they were kind and always answered my questions very well. I forget the price now but I remember it came in about mid range compared to some of the competition. I went with them because I was impressed by another friend who told me their quality and the men that came to his place were excellent. He was right.

Responsiveness was excellent. Agent took time to go over the product selections, very knowledgeable. Workers showed up on time and did a pretty good job. Some errors but came right back out to fix the problems. Not very helpful with picking out colors for the house but did do some photo cropping of a color of my choice and emailed them over to see how the color would look. Very patient and easy going.

THE 2 INSTALLERS ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME AND WERE VERY COURTEOUS. JOB WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Extensive selection of garage doors. Installers were courteous and professional. The installed garage doors are very striking. The openers are extremely quiet. Lead time on order was quite long, greater than 3 months.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND HAD THE BEST PRICE AROUND. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME AND HAD THE JOB FINISHED IN ONE DAY. THE PEOPLE WHO CAME TO DO THE WORK WERE VERY POLITE AND COURTEOUS. THEY DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.

THEY WERE EXCELLENT. THEY EVEN TOOK OFF THE OLD DOOR WITHOUT HAVING TO BREAK IT FIRST. THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING BEFORE THEY DID IT. THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL.
