Description of Work: We had a new garage door, service door and opener installed. The installer was friendly, efficent, and thorough. He installed te garage door, explained the operation and maintenace of the equipment he installed.I would certainly call upon Tarnow again and recommend them to others. Should I need them in the future, I will definetly ask for this specific serviceman.

Description of Work: I have an old garage, the old garage door pulled out and did not have tracks. Because it did not have tracks, the garage door could not accommodate a garage door opener. First I hired Home Depot. I ordered the garage door and the opener. When the subcontractor came out he told me additional labor would cost $500.00 to put in a new door frame. If I was told upfront, I would not have been upset. I decided to get other bids. I hired Town and Country Door in Bloomfield Hills. I paid for the door and the opener, the salesman measured and knew what was required. The subcontractor came out and said he was not a carpenter, I would need to hire one before he could put in the door, I was not happy. My mother said Tarnow doors installed the doors of her condominium complex, when I went to Angie's List, which I should have done in the first place, the company was highly rated. Dave came out, measured everything thoroughly, told me exactly what needed to be done(which I already knew). This time no subcontracter came out, but two very polite, non-complaining, hardworkers. They completed the job - FINALLY!!! I had a new garage door and opener. Tarnow even primed all the wood to the new frame indoors, before they came out. They did a fantastic job!!! Responsiveness was excellent. Agent took time to go over the product selections, very knowledgeable. Workers showed up on time and did a pretty good job. Some errors but came right back out to fix the problems. Not very helpful with picking out colors for the house but did do some photo cropping of a color of my choice and emailed them over to see how the color would look. Very patient and easy going.

THE 2 INSTALLERS ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME AND WERE VERY COURTEOUS. JOB WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Extensive selection of garage doors. Installers were courteous and professional. The installed garage doors are very striking. The openers are extremely quiet. Lead time on order was quite long, greater than 3 months.
