TL;DR: Save yourself. Keep walking. Get the most out of your membership and go to the next one on the list. I'm not sure how they got an award, but you want to keep walking and pass this one by. Had trouble making an appointment. I can understand that part given the pandemic. They assigned an appointment day and time window but never called me back to inform *me* of the day and time. This would ordinarily be fine because pandemic and no one is going anywhere anyhow; we're all at home. The repair was disastrous. They did replace the back flow prevention device but they did not replace one of the downstream valves as required. I need to call them about this. They took 1.5 hours to make *one* solder joint to a copper tube, for which they charged me labor. He spent some time heating the tube, realizing he didn't evacuate the line, and thus couldn't get the tube hot enough to actually solder the tube. Again, through all these foibles, I was charged an hourly labor rate. For mistakes that they made. Having given up on the soldering, he had to go to the hardware store (twice) to get parts. Whether or not he charged me for that time, he was unable to get the correct parts the first time and had to go back. He had to come back a second day to finish the repair. Upon showing up he had forgotten the proper tools and parts at the shop and had to go to the hardware store...again. The result is a repair that was not to the specifications required by the work order and is of such poor quality that it will probably only last a few seasons. The bill was (unintentionally, mind you) padded by technician incompetence. So go. Keep walking. Save yourself.

The job was done at the price quoted, but no discounts offered. In addition to the sprinklers I also had the rust removal installed that was recommended by them. They did a water analysis only after the installation to tell me that the iron in my well water it wasn’t that high. I wish they did that before they sold me on the rust removal system. I also wish they had asked me where to put the holes in the ground where they had to connect the sprinklers. There was some minor work on the main well pipeline that should have been done to better regulate the water flow in the sprinklers but they didn’t want to do it due to some missing materials on their end. It felt to me like that was a poor excuse for something they could have covered.

Great service, including at the time of the reservation (the person that scheduled the service was very nice), and when work was done. I was late to schedule the winterizing this year, and they were able to find a time. They even sent an email to make me aware that the weather was expected to be below 32 F before they were scheduled to come in, so I should close the water valve and remove the system's cap to prevent damage to the system.

They did a fine job and I would highly recommend them. The price was very reasonable. They were here when they said they would be. The service man that came out was very knowledgeable and personable.

Tech didn't have correct adapter to connect to my system. Sprinkler system has a standard Febco 3/4" vacuum break yet these "professionals" didn't have an adapter to fit. Tech spent the better part of an hour trying to rig something that would work with no success. Tech said company would call to reschedule but I decided not to wait and called them. They informed me that they declined to reschedule as they didn't think they could do the job and that they had already spent an hour trying to do it. Told me to contact Angie's List for a refund. Really left me in a lurch with freezing weather approaching.

The tech was on time and very friendly.

They were listed on Angie's website for my home address but after processing my credit card payment they informed me via email that they do not service my area. I then needed to request a refund / reverse the charge on my credit card for services not performed.

Very well. Polite. He made me feel like I could do it myself, but I will probably call him in the spring to turn it back on - that way I'm confident it's done right.

The service was prompt, courteous and professional. The Service tech was able to diagnose the repair and fix the sprinkler system very efficiently.

I would recommend them because of the quality of the work that they do, the manner in which they conduct their communication, and the price is very fair.

All I can says is Thank you to Daily Rain. They were the utmost professional from start to finish. I contacted Daily Rain because of some of the reviews I read. I'm glad I did. When I first contacted them, the person on the phone was very easy to talk with and explained to me the process. I arranged to meet with Jerry, the owner, at my property to explain my needs. I told him I wanted a sprinkler system and then drainage for some of my downspouts including the sump pump drain pipe. After he gave me the quote, including the Angie's List Discount, I signed up. I originally scheduled the install for July 17, Rick who was the lead installer called me the day before asking if we could start. Unfortunately we were out of town on Vacation, but it is very refreshing to have a company offer the start of a job ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, we asked him to start on the 17th. When they did they were as professional as they get. The arrived, and explained to me what they were going to do. Afterwards they gave me a quick rundown of the equipment and how to do the basic stuff. I'm very pleased with the setup and my new SOD is also!! I will definitely contact Daily Rain in the future, especially for maintenance of my system.

We fully expect a good outcome and will continue to utilize their services.

We are Realtors about to close on a home that was briefly vacant. It has been in the mid to low 20's in the mornings here of late. This morning a valve froze on the exterior of the house and kind neighbors called to report a geyser of water coming from relief valve! I called Daily Rain and administrative staff was no phased by my urgent request or me being a first time customer. She immediately contacted her technician and confirmed he could be on site in 1 hour and that he would call my partner 20 minutes before arrival at our house. I didn't even have to ask. He arrived as scheduled, no waiting, made the repair to valve and winterized the system. Because it was so cold and there was a possibility of damage, techs were extra diligent in checking the whole yard, basement and system. Tech was extremely professional but also friendly and helpful. When my partner tells me to call a company and make sure the owners know that we received good service then I know it was very good. The cost was very reasonable and easily handled by one call to the office.

They did a really good job. They guys were really exceptional. They were hard working.

Paid for the service and the job was completed one week later as scheduled. They inspected all of my sprinker heads and started up the system. I felt the $$ charged was a bit much, as they were not here very long and I could have done the startup myself...I mainly just wanted the sprinker heads checked and aligned. They will be coming back this winter to winterize the system.

Planning and estimate, communication about minor changes to plan and scheduling went well. Workers arrived on time and performed services and installation expertly. Have had them out since then for adjustments as we install the remainder of our landscaping and that was smooth too. They are not the cheapest but use high-quality products, and our landscape designer and contractor recommended them for the quality of their work, saying "less expensive up front doesn't mean less expensive in the end."

I have worked with them for several years now. Each time they come they send very competent, experienced technicians. They have addressed many problems since they started working for me and each year, I have fewer and fewer.
