TL;DR: Save yourself. Keep walking. Get the most out of your membership and go to the next one on the list. I'm not sure how they got an award, but you want to keep walking and pass this one by. Had trouble making an appointment. I can understand that part given the pandemic. They assigned an appointment day and time window but never called me back to inform *me* of the day and time. This would ordinarily be fine because pandemic and no one is going anywhere anyhow; we're all at home. The repair was disastrous. They did replace the back flow prevention device but they did not replace one of the downstream valves as required. I need to call them about this. They took 1.5 hours to make *one* solder joint to a copper tube, for which they charged me labor. He spent some time heating the tube, realizing he didn't evacuate the line, and thus couldn't get the tube hot enough to actually solder the tube. Again, through all these foibles, I was charged an hourly labor rate. For mistakes that they made. Having given up on the soldering, he had to go to the hardware store (twice) to get parts. Whether or not he charged me for that time, he was unable to get the correct parts the first time and had to go back. He had to come back a second day to finish the repair. Upon showing up he had forgotten the proper tools and parts at the shop and had to go to the hardware store...again. The result is a repair that was not to the specifications required by the work order and is of such poor quality that it will probably only last a few seasons. The bill was (unintentionally, mind you) padded by technician incompetence. So go. Keep walking. Save yourself.

In an effort to better service our clients in a timely fashion we are continuously hiring and training new service staff. The technician who serviced your home is new to our company so we appreciate the feedback regarding his skill set. We will continue our training efforts to be able to better serve you in the future. In regards to the service flaws, the technician electronically logged 2.5 hours at your home. He did invoice for 1 hr, our typical service call charge and materials used. We have not yet processed the payment you gave him on day of service. The owner will be reaching out to discuss with you further."

The job was done at the price quoted, but no discounts offered. In addition to the sprinklers I also had the rust removal installed that was recommended by them. They did a water analysis only after the installation to tell me that the iron in my well water it wasn’t that high. I wish they did that before they sold me on the rust removal system. I also wish they had asked me where to put the holes in the ground where they had to connect the sprinklers. There was some minor work on the main well pipeline that should have been done to better regulate the water flow in the sprinklers but they didn’t want to do it due to some missing materials on their end. It felt to me like that was a poor excuse for something they could have covered.

The well line you mention above has a check valve that was installed by the well company. We do not know the reason they put it on your well and didn't want to perform work without knowing the consequences that could occur. Great service, including at the time of the reservation (the person that scheduled the service was very nice), and when work was done. I was late to schedule the winterizing this year, and they were able to find a time. They even sent an email to make me aware that the weather was expected to be below 32 F before they were scheduled to come in, so I should close the water valve and remove the system's cap to prevent damage to the system.

All I can says is Thank you to Daily Rain.
They were the utmost professional from start to finish.
I contacted Daily Rain because of some of the reviews I read. I'm glad I did.
When I first contacted them, the person on the phone was very easy to talk with and explained to me the process. I arranged to meet with Jerry, the owner, at my property to explain my needs.
I told him I wanted a sprinkler system and then drainage for some of my downspouts including the sump pump drain pipe.
After he gave me the quote, including the Angie's List Discount, I signed up.
I originally scheduled the install for July 17, Rick who was the lead installer called me the day before asking if we could start. Unfortunately we were out of town on Vacation, but it is very refreshing to have a company offer the start of a job ahead of schedule.
Unfortunately, we asked him to start on the 17th. When they did they were as professional as they get. The arrived, and explained to me what they were going to do. Afterwards they gave me a quick rundown of the equipment and how to do the basic stuff.
I'm very pleased with the setup and my new SOD is also!!
I will definitely contact Daily Rain in the future, especially for maintenance of my system.
