Michael is what all contractors should aspire to be. He and his workers are always prompt (my pet peeve). He will go out of his way to accommodate your schedule. He first met me at 5:45AM to walk the project. Unlike most contractors I have dealt with over the years, Micheal doesn't just show up and give you a bid, he is actually on the job everyday. I was onsite most of the time while the work was being done and I can say his crew never stops working, there is no smoke breaks, phone calls, or any of that nonsense. When I was not able to be there Micheal would send me pictures via text / email everyday that work was being preform. He would also update me via phone calls as well. His communication is excellent. He and his team are very skilled to complete every aspect of construction. He will make suggestions throughout the remodel process to help reduce costs and / or give you a better finished project. While talking with Paul, one of his guys. Paul made an interesting comment that they don't discrimate on the quality of work depending on the size of the project or weather it's a million dollar home vs my 30k rental property. That statement proved to be absolutely true. As the owner of 40+ rental units I would highly recommend Micheal for your remodel projects. If you are an out of state investor as I am. It is a wonderful piece of mind to know that project is in good hands when you can't be there. One last thing I will just add, if you call a contractor for a bid and they can start your project the same / following day... that's usually not a good sign. A good contractor is generally scheduled weeks out. So, keep that in mind when planning your project.

Michael did a great job! Unfortunately, I'll need to wait until later to meet him in person. A few outlets in my kitchen stopped working. Since others in the kitchen and throughout the house were operational, I reasoned that it was a circuit issue. I went to my circuit box, identified the one that wasn't like the others, and tried to turn it on. That process would not work. The circuit would not stay in the on position. I did some internet searches to determine what I was doing incorrectly. Having found no answer, I provided what I'd determined in my request for services and waited. When Michael and I had a chance to talk over the telephone, Michael determined the issue and explained what I needed to do to resolve the problem. He allayed my fears and encouraged me to go forth. His solution worked perfectly. I look forward to contacting him for future work!

He is not very easy to work with when it comes to scheduling. He never responded back with an estimate.

Michael was very pleasant, straightforward and HONEST. For single women that have to address and handle home repairs and issues -- this is your guy. He was upfront, open and honest about the repairs I needed. He explained how each job was to be done and how long it would take. Where Michael went above and beyond was that he advised me on how to handle a plumber/plumbing issue that was causing me much stress and aggravation on top of the money I had already paid. He was willing to put his personal profit aside to advise me of what my priorities should be and why. His knowledge, experience and work ethic proved to be priceless.

Needed my basement redone because of a combination of mold and flood water. They put in new drywall in my basement, painted the entire area, put in a new toilet, a new washtub, and new baseboard. He did an excellent and exceptional job, and went above and beyond my expectations without charging me anything extra. He was prompt, professional, asked good questions, and kept me updated on how the process was going. I never had to call to find out if he was coming.

Michael's work was exceptional. He was punctual everyday and had a team ready to go for each day of the construction period. There was constant communication regarding status of job and what was going on. Entire project came in within the quoted price and per the specified time period. There were many opportunities he took to point out how we could save money because of a few expected things that came up during the construction phase. I would highly recommend Michael to anyone and we certainly plan on using his services again

This is probably the best experience I have had with hiring anyone to do work around my house!!!Michael was a few minutes early for our intial appointment...I appreciate that my time is valuable... he took a look at what needed to be done..price was far...Michael and an associate came back a few days latter..did the work ran into a small problem, took care of it...no extra charge..cleaned up and all of this took 3 hours...hands down would recommend him to anyone...Thank you Michael and Thank you Angies List.

Michael did a great job! Because it was a rental property, we always need to respond quickly and Michael came out on a Saturday and had the problem diagnosed and repaired quickly. Also saved us money on a new disposal. Very professional, polite and reasonably priced. Will use him again.

Michael returned my calls promptly. He met me at the house we were prepping to sell, gave me an estimate, then returned with an assistant to complete the work. He unexpectedly had to purchase a small plumbing part but went out of his way to complete everything before the city inspector came. He was pleasant and professional and did good work. I plan to call him for some more projects, both large and small, at my own home.

Every thing went well, he even vacuumed up the little mess he made to drill through the inside wall outlet to connect to the outside so he could install a box This was a dedicated power line I had installed some years ago to supple a window AC that I no longer use but plugged my lawn mower into . Having an outdoor plug is so much better. He charged me only $50 for this since he was already here to work on the garage. The 4ft. board with my house number on it was coming loose, he noticed, and reattached it -no charge.

Mike called me back right away and fit my semi emergency in for 6am the next day. Mike was early and really knew what he was doing. We had an electrical short somewhere in the condo and he found it right away. Mike replaced the light and the disposal with no problem. Also brought the old outlet up to code by installing a GFI. I was very happy with the prompt return call unlike the other 15 electricians I called. A few of the electricians(who bothered to call me back) wanted to charge me 85 dollars just to come in the door and they couldn't squeeze me in until next week!! Once Mike saw what the problem was he gave me a price and did the job. I don't feel overcharged and I am confident the job was done the right way. I appreciate quality work. Thanks Mike.

He was good and I use him a lot. I already refer him to other people. He does a lot of things and he showed up on time. He's very flexible and I work during the day so he would need me at the time I get out to work. He just works into my schedule and he's dependable. He wasn't the cheapest but his not also the highest and so I'm going to use him again because he's really professional.

Michael Egged was ahead of time which I thought was very professional. He reattached the waterspout in about 5 minutes. He did not charge me anything for the service. I was so satisfied with the service he provided. I thought it was nice of him to not charge me for this service. I will definitely use him again for any home repair needs in the future. Michael gave me his card and informed me of all the services that he performs. I would definitely refer him to anyone that needs home repair and remodeling.

After months (beginning March, 2013) of dealing with an individual who did little more than address the surface mold in my tenant's flat and then was missing in action when I attempted to have him address the return of the mold, I set out on a journey to find someone who would address the issue with some integrity and follow-up. In June, 2013 I contacted a large mold testing and removal company who quoted me a price of $1,250.00. When I received a copy of their rather lengthy contract, I realized that, along with a number of other unreasonable stipulations, my tenant would have to be out of the house for 5 or 6 days, which was unacceptable. The contract also stipulated that their company would take no responsibility for addressing any future mold issues in the tenant's bathroom. Although I know that no one can guarantee that mold would never return, I wanted someone to take responsibility and pride enough in their work such that it would compel them to be willing to back it up. Because of my frustrations I sent an email to Angie's List outlining my issues. I was sent a couple of recommendations and luckily Michael's Home Repair and Remodeling was one of them. From the first time I spoke with Michael I had a good feeling about him as a person. I was hopeful that he would be as talented and professional as he was nice...and he was. He did an amazing job! For the same $1,250.00 Michael ordered and installed an exhaust fan in the bathroom, addressed all of the mold, re-caulked the tub and primed and painted the walls. The mold affected the tub, the walls, ceiling and the tiles. Michael even did some additional touchup work; including taking additional time to clean the tub which had an incredible amount of soap-scum in it. As Michael described it, and quot;there was enough soap-scum to make two bars of soapand quot;. Both Michael and I told the tenant that, going forward, she would have to keep the tub cleaner. I really appreciated him being so candid, yet kind, with the tenant. The tenant was amazed and delighted at the job that Michael did!! One of the best things about the job, in addition to the professionalism is that everything was finished in two days (three if you count letting the caulk dry before the tub could be used) Michael did such a wonderful job that we are already talking about other projects he will take on in my various rental properties. I thank God that I met Michael and I look forward to a long and wonderful professional relationship with him and his Company!

Michael always deliveries on what he has promised you in turns of time and price. He is easy to talk to and quick to understand your needs and address the problem.

The owner, Michael, is a certified electrician, plumber, and carpenter. We have been using his services for over 5 years for all of our house repair and remodeling needs for both our primary house and our rental property. I have referred him to several people, and like us, they are all very satisfied with his services. He is prompt, reasonably priced, knows what he is doing, and if there is ever an issue with any of his work, he promptly comes back out to correct it.

I scheduled an appointment through Mike Egged, the company's owner, to remove light fixtures and ceiling fans and replace them. Mike worked me into his schedule immediately, agreed to pick up the replacement items at Lowe's, and passed along his store discount to me. On the appointed day, he showed up on time and went straight to work. The items I plan to take with me were carefully placed in boxes along with all the necessary hardware and accessories and the replacement items were expertly installed. My home was left orderly and all the packing materials were removed. In addition to the electrical work, I asked Mike to remove some high-end items in a bathroom I wanted to take. Mike looked at how the pieces were installed and advised me to leave them. He felt the labor cost associated with removing them would exceed any savings I'd gain by not having to replace them. He explained that some of the items may not even fit in the bathroom of my new home. Admittedly, this impressed me. Mike could have easily done the work and charged me for his time, but he didn't. He is more invested in keeping me as a customer. Mike is a man of many talents. I'd recommend contacting him about any home improvement need.
