WE ARE MEMBERS OF SEVERAL TRADE ORGANIZATIONS AND HAVE A CERTIFIED PAVER INSTALLER AND PESTICIDE TECHNITION ON STAFF. WE ARE A UNILOCK AUTHORIZED CONTRACTOR FOR PAVER AND RETAINING WALLS. WE DO NOT USE SUB-CONTRACTORS FOR OUR WORK, ALL WORK IS PERFORMED BY OUR TRAINED STAFF. All summer the neighbors were asking "what happened to your pretty house." They did such a bad job and charged me so much money that I have to take them to court. Some of the sprinkler heads had been repositioned towards brick and concrete. The shrubs started dying because of this.
Description of Work: I hired this company to cut the grass after my husband died, and also keep up the seed and some areas were looking like they needed it. Told me that they would bring me books to buy shrubs. Also I asked them to turn on the underground watering system, which they said they would take care of. Told me they would put in new shrubs which were crummy, and turn the water system on at 4 am. I called them later because I wanted them to water at 6 am instead and they said that if i kept bothering them they would start charging me. At that point I fired them. The grass seed brought nothing but weeds.

THE CUSTOMER DID HIRE US TO REMOVE THE EXISTING LANDSCAPING AND INSTALL NEW TREES, SHRUBS AND PERENNIALS. THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM WAS APPROXIMATELY 20 YEARS OLD AND HAD AN OUTDATED CONTROL BOX. THE CUSTOMER DID NOT WANT TO INVEST A LOT OF MONEY TO UPGRADE THE SYSTEM, INSTEAD SHE ASKED US TO ADJUST THE HEADS TO COVER THE NEW LANDSCAPING. WE DID INSTALL A NEW CONTROLLER SO THAT THE NEW LANDSCAPING WOULD GET WATERED PROPERLY. WE ADVISED THE CUSTOMER THAT THE SYSTEM WAS SET AND IF SE HAD A QUESTION OR WOULD LIKE US TO ALTER THE CONTROLLER TO GIVE US A CALL AND AT NO CHARGE WE WOULD ADJUST THE SYSTEM. AFTER THE LANDSCAPING WAS INSTALLED THE CUSTOMER AND HER DAUGHTER REPLIED HOW MUCH THEY LIKED THE JOB AND THEN PAID US THE BALANCE FOR THE PROJECT. APPROXIMATELY 2 WEEKS AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETE THE CUSTOMER TURNED OFF THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM, DURING A PERIOD OF MID 90 DEGREE WEATHER. IT WAS OVER A WEEK AFTER SHE DID THIS THAT SHE CALLED AND SAID SHE WASN'T HAPPY AND THE SHRUBS WERE STARTING TO DIE. WE ADVISED HER THAT SINCE SHE TURNED THE WATER OFF, IT VOIDED HER WARRANTY. WE HAD MADE IT KNOWN THAT THE PLANTINGS NEEDED CONSISTENT WATER AND TO LET US MONITOR THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM. FOR WHATEVER REASON SHE TURNED OFF THE WATER AND KILLED THE PLANTINGS. THE CUSTOMER DID TAKE US TO COURT AND THE JUDGE RULED IN OUR FAVOR AND SAID IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT IT WAS THE HOMEOWNER'S ACTIONS THAT CAUSED THE LANDSCAPING TO DIE. OVER THE COURSE OF THE NEXT 18 MONTHS THE HOMEOWNER HAD 4 OTHER LANDSCAPE CONTRACTORS REMOVE OUR WORK AND INSTALL NEW PLANTINGS. SHE FIRED EACH OF THE CONTRACTORS BECAUSE THEIR PLANTINGS ALSO DIED.
