If I would have had to write this review 2 years ago, I would have highly recommended them. However, due to a recent job of disconnecting a sink, reconnecting the new sink installed in the exact same place as the previous sink by another contractor and installing the new faucet and getting charged for 2 plumbers and 10 hours labor $1,128.00., my opinion has drastically changed. The plumber could not use the shutoff valve, which was installed by Young's 2 years prior, so he cut and capped a pipe in the basement rather than replace it when he disconnected the sink. Apparently, they don't stock their trucks with replacement parts either. I was also told I would not be billed for that but was anyway. According to the Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors Association, homewyse.com/services/co…, a job of having a plumber replace a whole sink should cost a maximum of $484.31. They do not explain themselves in terms that someone other than a plumber can understand either, which wastes additional time and money. In addition to all of this, they showed up an hour late the first day and over 2 hours late the second day with no phone call. When I called I was told the plumber was finishing up on a job that took longer than expected and would be right over. An hour later he showed up with no apology or acknowledgement of being late. I tried to negotiate with their office admin. who got an approval to take $150.00 off the bill from the owner and was given $100.00 off for a "return customer" discount. When I requested to speak to the owner myself, I was denied.
