 + -1 moreSaid they were open, so I sent my watch from Florida. Once it arrived they called and said they weren't open and I cannot reach a person to return my watch. Have used them for 25 years but will no longer utilize their services.

Description of Work: Repaired and made to look new an old Gruen watch. Outstanding service, beautiful workmanship. The price was higher than I expected but if you have a valuable old watch this is the place to take it.

Description of Work: Parts needed to be ordered from manufacturer Giraud Perregaux in Switzerland. The turn around time was estimated to be 3 weeks, but the repairs and cleaning were completed within 2 weeks. While the price for parts and labor was high, I have no idea whether it was reasonable or not. But the watch was expensive and dates back to the 1980s and their recommendation to have it serviced every 7 years seemed reasonable.

 + -1 moreThese guys can do a factory perfect repair on any watch made but be prepared to pay for it. I would look for alternatives for routine things but if you have a one of a kind or very high end repair, this is the place to go.
Description of Work: replace very hard to find screws on band. Replace batteries.

 + -1 moreThey were honest and up front. I knew what I was in for on the refurnishing of the watch. There were going to be a lot of new parts. He took one look at it, knew it was something important to me, and said that they would take good care of it. It is going to be inexpensive. We can make it work if that is what you want to do, we can make it look new, and that is what he did.
Description of Work: Universal Watch Repair completely reconditioned and made work a 43 year old watch.
