Cook's Construction

In March I ordered a manufactured home from a builder In Indiana. I requested a quote from contractors for a well, septic system, a driveway, a basement or foundation with storm shelter. Cook answered almost immediately with a quote of $29000. Since he was the first to reply, I did not hire him immediately. I investigated a quote from Hearns concrete which came in over twice as much! I decided to accept Cook's quote but he was a little upset and stated that he may have to revise his charges. I agreed with those conditions but He never returned with a new quote, refused me or answered my calls for several weeks. Finally (around the end of June ) One of the operators met me on location and stated that he would gather a crew to begin work. He said that I must first get the required permits and contact miss dig before he could begin work. I had the permits by June 27, and informed Cook's. My house was completed by the end of June and I had heard nothing from Cook's construction. Finally around the middle of July We signed a contract. He poured a beautiful basement, a beautiful driveway, a perfect garage pad and helped in any way possible with all of the other work necessary to get the house mounted. He is a conscientious performer and I would recommend him wholeheartedly!
