I've done a lot of remodeling, repairing, and upgrading to my home in the past 10 years -- and so have a range of experiences with contractors. Bryan and his crew at Quality Concrete probably get the #1 ranking of everyone I've worked with. The entire process was professional and responsive, with good detail recommendations, awesome communication, and amazing reliability. That was true in 2016, and it was true last week when they did this latest round of work. And yes, they probably aren't the cheapest bunnies in the patch -- but they earn every penny they ask. I couldn't be happier.

Quality Concrete replaced an old concrete driveway and sidewalk (sidewalk was colored and stamped). I have nothing but positive things to say about Bryan and his company from start to finish. First, Bryan was prompt about coming out to do an estimate. I obtained 3 estimates and Bryan's was the most detailed and the only one to include the required City of Kalamazoo construction permit and there were no disclaimers about damage to sprinkler systems as one estimate had. All three estimates were in the same ballpark but Bryan's was slightly lower and even more so considering the building permit cost. In addition, damage to a couple of sprinkler heads was unavoidable but Bryan replaced them all himself at no additional cost and even came back out promptly a couple of times to adjust them. Bryan accommodated my request to do most of the work during a week I was out of town. I was however, able to observe his crew working through my security video footage. I was so impressed by their professionalism (no wasted time by this crew!) and efficient teamwork. Bryan was on site, working alongside his crew the entire job and it was obvious through his attention to detail and meticulousness that he takes great pride in his workmanship. Once the concrete was poured, the crew cleaned up the site and prepared the damaged parts of my lawn with new topsoil, ready for reseeding. I couldn't be happier with the results and can't recommend Quality Concrete highly enough.

Bryan arrived on time for the bid and listened to my concerns. He was very open to answering all of my questions. He and his crew came when he stated they would and worked very hard to complete the project in a timely manner. His prices were fair and consistent with other companies.

$40 dollar estimation fee for new customers. Must have a lot of work now. See if this changes when time get tough.

Work went very smoothly with car and precision over a short 2 day duration with frequent contacts from Bryan by phone and in person. Very pleased!

I can honestly say that if we ever need additional cement work completed we would not call anyone but Bryan with Quality Concrete and Masonry. He is a man of integrity and I am not surprised that he and his company have received the Super Service award from Angie's List.

Called Bryan Halder, he came out and gave me a estimate. He told me how long it would take to do the project and when they would start on it. Due to bad weather they were delayed a few days however when they started they were both timely and professional. They completed the job in a timely manner. These guys are awesome. the crew works splendidly together and fast too. I am very pleased with my new driveway and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely use this company when i put in a new patio next year.

Arrived at 8 am sharp and began working immediately- 7 or 8 man crew- all specialized- only took a short lunch break and kept working til completed @ 4 p.m.- Excellent job, neat & tidy clean -up- totally satisfied.

Bryan and his team were great. Really helpful with all of my questions and enjoyed conversations with them. They did a great job in removing our old patio and forming up our new patio, which was pretty difficult with many curves, but it turned out awesome. I was surprised at how fast the actual pouring and smoothing of the concrete went, very impressive. Also very cool to watch them color and stamp the concrete. I also really appreciated the care they took in preserving our grass and the clean up they did in the empty lot next door. All in all, I was very happy with most of the work. The shape and color of the patio were exactly what we were hoping for and were by far the lowest cost of any contractor to quote us. We did have some minor issues with the end result, though. Where our steps into the house meet with the patio is a bit sloppy looking and not very smooth. There are probably 10+ fingerprints in the concrete, I assume this happened when they were pulling up the stamps. Also, there are several spots where the stamp didn't take and it was left looking like standard, brushed concrete. Finally, the clean up on our property left a bit to be desired. When the job was over I was left to dig holes and rebury our drain pipes and fix broken trim pieces. Not a huge deal, but thought it was something they should have taken care of. All in all, despite a few minor issues, I was happy with the work of Bryan and his team and would recommend them to anybody in need of concrete work. They are very professional, punctual, and enjoyable to have around.

The final results are excellent and Bryan Halder (owner) was very professional and easy to work with. Quality's proposal was hundreds of dollars less than estimates offered by two other grade "A" contractors. Total satisfaction with this provider!

Bryan was a professional through and through. He and his crew were on time, fast, and did great work. They even put plastic over everything that might potentially be hit with concrete or the release agent when it was broadcast. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have concrete work done and will be using him again in the near future. Prices were consistent with industry standards and his quote was thoroughly detailed so we new exactly what we were getting.

Quality Concrete & Masonry workmanship and customer focus are EXCELLENT. Bryan Halder has great communication skills. He will return your phone calls promptly and will take the time to answer all your questions. He was very accommodating when I made "last minute" changes to the proposal. His crew members are very friendly, skilled in concrete flat work, and extremely hardworking. They went the "extra mile" for me by helping me with the landscaping around the new patio and sidewalks. He sent his dump truck to Mulders Landscaping Supply to pickup 10 yards of top soil. His Bobcat guy was amazing and he leveled the top soil around the patio and sidewalks. This was not in the proposal and Bryan did not charge me for the additional work his crew did for me. Most importantly, the top finish on the concrete patio and sidewalks were awesome - you could tell by the finished product that Bryan has many years of experience in pouring and finishing concrete. I strongly recommend Bryan and his crew for any concrete work you may need - two thumbs up!
