Dump Guy

The Dump Guy went the extra mile for me and earned a very happy customer. First, they showed up when expected, took my junk, and were extremely personable. That would have been completely satisfactory, but there are 2 more things you should know, if you are looking for garbage collection: First, I had a big chunk of concrete that needed to go, and it was too heavy for the guys that came. I was kind of bummed that they couldn't take it. However, a few days later I got a courtesy call from the Dump Guy to make sure things went OK. When I told him about the concrete, he sent out another crew the next day and took care of it...no additional cost! One of the paint cans burst open as they were loading it, and it got paint on the driveway. One of the guys rang the doorbell to ask if he could use my pressure washer to clean it up. I think that is going the extra mile. I really appreciate the professional, courteous, prompt and affordable service.

Exceeded expectations. 2 Guys came out, very professional. Efficiently cleaned out shed and loaded truck. Even gave me a phone call 10 mins before showing up to give me a heads up on their ETA.

Jason was prompt in coming to give estimate. Able to schedule job quickly. The guys showed up on time. Were careful not to damage trees or gardens in getting truck and trailer to the shed site. The company followed up with a phone call approximately a week later to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction. Would definitely use this company again.

I live in Mount Desert, Maine. I could find no one local to do this kind of work. When I saw an ad for The Dump Company in Bangor, I called...even though they are 50 miles away. I was amazed to find that they work within a hundred mile parameter of their office. The men who came on time were pleasant professionals who accomplished the work quickly. I had been quoted about $200.00 for the job over the phone, but they ultimately charged me only half of that. I can't say enough about them. If you need someone for basement, attic, garage or house clean outs, these are your guys.

The guys showed up about 10 minutes prior to their appointment and had drywall scraps, an old toilet, sink, and cast iron clawfoot tub loaded in the same amount of time. They also offered to clear out 8 old tires from my garage for a very small additional cost, since everything fit in the trailer. If I have any need for refuse/junk removal, I will definitely call The Dump Guy in the future!

He did a great job. The workers were fine. They are courteous and prompt. They did exactly what I wanted them to do. It took them about twenty minutes.

Perfectly. Showed up with truck, trailer with cover and helper less than 2 hours after we called. Very cooperative - took small amounts of misc waste without changing quoted price. Personable, fast but thorough.

They called and asked if they could come early. I thought we were going to have to have them return, but they were able to get everything in one load and were done in less than an hour.

My wife and I are moving to a house we just bought and decided we'd start over with furniture etc. wherever we could. The junk was hauled away from the apt we were living in. One of our cars (SUV) has been at the garage so now our pile grew because I couldn't bring some of the smaller items to the transfer station and besides, the cost and effort to renew my town transfer sticker, get some credits, the make a dozen trips back and forth would have surely cost me quite a bit. Dump Guy to the rescue. I called on Mon I believe and scheduled for around 10am on Wed. They called when they were near and arrived around 1010ish. They restated their pricing, gave me an estimate much lower than I expected, I agreed.... within 25 mins or so.. all that junk was removed, my invoice paid (mobile payment is convenient), I gave them a tip and they were on their way. Just like that. They were professional, nice guys, timely and competitively priced. What more can you ask for? Awesome service indeed.

Wow! Emailed them on Sunday afternoon...heard back on Sunday afternoon...Came on Monday...right on time...very nice...loaded up and finished in no time at all. Why can't every service provider be this good? I look forward to using them again.

I just purchased a house that no one has lived in for a few years and needless to say it was full of junk. Ben and John came in and took out a couple heavy fridges (one of which was down a shaky set of steps in the dungeon of a basement) as well as a bunch of other trash and brush. Another crew who's names I can't remember ended up stopping by to throw one of the fridges in their trailer since I ran out of space, which was awesome. Ben had initially called me thinking they may be late due to an injury on a previous job but they still ended up showing up almost an hour early. Definitely worth the money and I'm sure I'll be calling them again soon! Thanks guys!

The were friendly, punctual, professional, and were patient with one little 6yr old boy with a lot of questions.

The appointment was scheduled within a day of my call to the Dump Guy. I received a phone call about an hour before the scheduled time, letting me know that they would be arriving perhaps 10 minutes late. The guys - Jack and Brian - arrived, looked over the work, reviewed the price (which had already been explained to me on the initial phone call the day earlier). Jack and Brian were pleasant and professional. They got right to work and did a nice job of tidying up. Great service!

Excellent service! Keep them on your recommend list. Excellent people! I just used them last month and I am getting ready to use them again in July. They cleaned up junk, like paper and old stuff you don't need, even old antiques. Really nice people. The service cost a hundred dollars because I had so much. It depends on how much junk you got. They have very nice manners. They were very cordial and they did an excellent job of cleaning up. That was very important to me. You didn't have to go after them. They were on time. They are honest, excellent and they have excellent communication. They do just what you want them to do. I grade them 'A' for excellent. The price, I would say was average. I would use them again in the future.

They were great. Very careful and very reasonable. Also took a few other heavy items, one a cast iron wire reel weighing 150 lbs

Great job, easy to contact and very responsive. Have used them twice and recommended several times. Hauled away trash including old hot water heaters, mattresses, garbage...nothing too big or too small they will tackle everything. At the end they went thru and broom swept it all.

I was left with an overwhelming amount of filthy, disgusting trash by some terrible tenants. I called The Dump Guy to see if they could come look the place over in the near future to give me an estimate. They responded THAT VERY DAY and removed everything. They are AWESOME! They estimated it would take 4-5 trips with both their trailer and truck full but in the end they were able to do it all in three. They're professional, courteous and totally awesome. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Big storm with 8" snow sitting on 2" water. My snow-blower and I couldn't handle it. Called Jason and he was here within the hour. Same pleasant, courteous service as junk removal. Now we're ready for tomorrow storm! Thanks Jason!

very professional. Called when running late for estimate. They arrived to haul a half an hour early to remove junk after calling first. Stuff was gone after a half an hour. Not sure how many dump runs it would have taken for me. Valuable service.
