As noted above the services were not performed in a timely manner; a job that was to take 2 weeks at the six-week point was only 40% completed and as result of this non-responsiveness, poor work ethic, and overcharging for services I had no option but to fire the contractor.
Description of Work: The original estimate was for a bathroom remodeled the cost $2000. The contractor then upped to $3000 and as a result of no-shows slow work, and overcharging for services I had to fire the contractor. By talking to other contractors who made estimate of the work it was completed they report that the industry average shouldn't been about $1000-1200. He was informed that I expected to receive a refund of $300 from not completed services and to pick up his tools and equipment. He did take his equipment but I have been unable to get a hold of him, he will not return my calls, and I am placing a complaint at the Better Business Bureau so others do not have the same experience. He was to pull out an old shower, remove flooring, and read Tile the bathroom.
