RC Duct Cleaning

They were very polite and did a great job.

There was no problem getting the appointment set up. They came and did what they were supposed to do and everything went just fine.

They came and did what they needed to do. I was not there for the work. There were no scheduling issues.

I cancelled the Big Deal. They were going to charge me additional money for the travel fee. They did not try to work with me.

It went very well. What I appreciated the most was that the technician told me that one of the plugs in the basement (for the washing machine) was not working after he plugged in the large vacuum that he was using. He easily could have not told me about this but was honest and professional about it. He checked the electrical box for a tripped fuse but it seemed that everything was okay even though the plug still was not working. He called the office and RC Duct Cleaning sent out an electrician the next day (a weekend) to fix the problem. That's what I call excellent customer service! It turned out to be something very simple but the integrity, honesty and professionalism of the whole experience left me with a very good impression of the company and I am planning to switch to RC Duct Cleaning for AC/Heater maintenance in the future.

Both the person who scheduled the appointment and the gentleman who provided the service were professional, polite and explained the process. I would hire them again and recommend their services

The workers arrived on time, were fast, and did the job without any problems. There was one duct that obviously had mold inside, and they removed the face plate, cleaned that out, and sprayed it with some kind of disinfectant. They explained that because the ductwork was above the kitchen, it probably accumulated the mold because of the humidity from that room. A few months after this experience, my daughter had another company do the same thing in her house. That company removed all the duct face-plates, which this company did not do. I thought that the other company's cleaning was, as a result, more thorough, because they could thread the vacuum devices deep into the ductwork, rather than just work from the opening on the outside of the face-plate.

It was okay. It was the first time I had used them.

The service tech came in with a ladder, a big vacuum and some brushes. After I showed him where varoius air vents were (both inflows and outflows), he went to work. He did the inflow vents first. He removed the vent covers, swept the interior where it meets the wall, and then inserted the vacuum hose. The process was similar for all the smaller outflow vents. When he finished all the furnace vents, he did the dryer vent from both the inside and the outside. He was friendly and professional at the same time, and I can see bringing them back in the future.

The workman was quick, clean, and professional. Would use this company again.

I was surprised that just one individual came to clean our vents. It turned out he was well qualified, competent and neat. Before he left he ensured there weren't any dust bunnies/soot anywhere, cleaning up when he was finished. I was also surprised at how qucik he was. Our vents were previously cleaned by a company used by Sears, and I was not impressed. I would definitely use this company again.

I made an appointment that was six weeks out. I expected the wait because of the promotion. The service was scheduled for July 6th. I received a call (a voice mail) on July 5th saying the technician would not be able to make it. I understand things happen.... but I have not heard another word from the company. I did call once and got an answering machine, in the middle of the day. I went through the exercise of buying the service, calling to make the appointment made myself available to receive the service. I actually am no longer interested in the service and would like a refund. Since this was purchased through Angie's List, I would love some guidance with this.

It went ok, except that when they removed the grill in the living room to clean the duct there, they failed to run a knife between the wall the the grill and as a result, also removed several patches of paint from the wall.

Sean arrived at the far edge of the service window. He took his $29 tool downstairs and was done in less than 15 minutes. He said I had "a lot of lint in there". After he left I noticed lint in my koi pond near the vent. No provision had been made for collecting the lint; great gobs of lint were stuck in spider webs on my drain spouts and all over the rock ground cover next to my house. Lint had been trailed across the back patio and had drifted into the pond. I found random bits of lint in my house and in my driveway. I contacted R&C, who did respond promptly by phone. I sent photos of the mess. Their response was to talk to Sean, note my unhappiness on his record, and offer me the same price next year. There was no offer to remedy the situation by having Sean clean up his mess. I spent an unhappy hour that weekend picking up large lint bunnies from between my rocks. The mess could have easily been prevented by simply spreading a tarp to catch whatever came out of the vent. It would have taken less than 5 minutes on each end of the job and left me delighted rather than disgruntled. The lack of customer care gives RC Duct Cleaning a grade of F.

Original appt was not kept... When I called I was told the customer had s told the service man she had "changed her mnd". Service man apparently called at the wrong house. i DO NOT REMEMBER THE EXACT SERVKCE DATE OR COUPON PRICE!

Went well. It was a simple task.

I bought their service as an Angie's List special and I was very please with them. They arrived on time, did what they needed to do in a quick and through manner. I would use them again.

They did a great job! They were prompt, did it quickly, and explained everything throughout the process. They were in and out with minimal fuss.

Basically showed up on time, got to work and when I requested dryer duct cleaning, the technician indicated, that it would not work with an inline fan system. I appreciated his honesty, and feedback. I felt that I was dealing with a quality individual, whom I would want to know, independent of his profession.

Our laundry room is on the 2nd story and is vented to the roof. So this service even involved him climbing on the room to clean the vent from the outside. He was very thorough and talked me through exactly what he was doing (I'm embarrassed we've never cleaned our dryer vent!). Our dryer's performance improved tremendously! They did a great job.
