RC Duct Cleaning

Overall, went very well. Left a little debris behind.

I was not happy originally because the company had to be called because no on showed up. They called back and said someone would be at our home in a couple of hours. The technician came from Maryland, fighting rush hour traffic. He was great; he cleaned the dryer vent twice because he couldn't get any air flow.

It appears that the $89 service call I paid for was to vacuum the duct only --that's the service performed in 15 minutes from arrival time to departure time.

The cost for te service was $89, and I had an additional cost of $40 to install a bird proof screen over the outside dryer exhaust. The service technician, Larry, arrived on time, completed teh work in a very timely manner, and provided advice as to how often the dryer vent should be cleaned. Larry was very professional from start to finish, the work was professionally done. I would use this service again.

They made the best of my awkward attic access - having to climb over my washer to gain access to the attic, where the vent is located.

Very happy with the overall result. The man that came to clean also cleaned our air dryer vent, which was clogged with probably six years worth of lint. (It looked gross) Our dryer was not effective enough before then, it took 3 cycles everytime to dry our clothes and after that, it was great. The price was reasonable and we would use them in the future.

Sequence is described above. Because of spine surgery, I haven't been able to pull the main vent covers and see if cleaner. House is 44 years old and I imagine never before duct cleaned, so i expected a lotvof vent cleaning, but can't be sure.

The worker came on time and performed the task as described. He was courteous and professional and explained the procedure to us as he was performing the service.

I've used them twice and will again.

The service tech showed up right on time and did an excellent job, explaining what he was doing and making some helpful suggestions regarding filters. He was also very careful about cleaning up around his work areas. We do have to note that it took a long period of time to schedule the appointment (with two postponements along the way). The company said that they'd had so much response to the Big Deal that they were overwhelmed by the demand. We will use them again.

They worked inside and outside and really cleaned from the dryer to the total outside. I am very pleased.

I liked the person who cleaned our vents. I was home with a baby and left the house to take a walk since the noise was very loud. He was very understanding and even came outside to find me when he was done.

I bought one of the Angie's List " Big Deal" for the dryer vent cleaning last year from these people. I forgot to schedule it and it ended up expiring. I called the contractor and explained the situation and they told me that they could not honor the "Big Deal" . I told them it was my mistake and that I understood, but if at all possible if I could use the value I paid for the "Big Deal" towards the service at regular price. ( since I already paid for it and I needed the service done) . They told me that the "Big Deal" had expired and that I had lost my money. I called and pleaded with several members in their office staff hoping that someone there would be reasonable. I went to Angie's list for help with this and they called the contractor direct, and they still wouldn't budge. I would be very leary of doing business with someone who will take your money and not offer a service or a refund in return. I can understand not honoring the sale price because the coupon had expired, but the fact that I volunteered to pay full price for the service if I could use the credit from the coupon. The fact is that I paid money for a service for I never received doesn't sit well. To add insult to injury I later saw that they reposted the Angie's list special for the dryer vent cleaning.

No problems whatsoever with this service provider.

Very happy with service. We were amazed at how much lint was in the dryer vent. We will definitely have it cleaned more often.

Someone answered the phone when I called and I was able to schedule an appointment very quickly. The person who came to do the cleaning was on time, very courteous and professional. He did the work he was scheduled to do, and answered all of my questions. He did not try to do any high pressure sales.

Angie's special. Did not return original phone call. I called 2 weeks later. Made appt. did not show up. I called. They apologized and made a new appt. they came. Workers were very good once I got them here

Technician was on time and quickly went to work after explaining the service to be provided. The vent covers to the main intakes were removed and cleaned. He used a brush on an extension to clean the main intakes and removed quite a bit of accumulated dust. Freshener was placed. The vent covers were placed back on and the dry wall dust was even vaccuumed afterwards. He did not leave a mess which is nice. I think we should probably do this service at least 1 once if not 2 twice a year. Total time was about 2 hours.

I did not know what was done with my AC unit, but all I see is they vacuum it and left my house.

The company was punctual and very earnest and professional. Since the work they did was one of those projects you can't really see with your own eyes, there's no way to truly evaluate how well the work was done (hence the "B" rating for price and quality). Nor could I really tell how much was cleaned out (which would have given me a clue if it was really worth doing in the first place). However, they had the proper machinery, worked diligently, and took an appropriate amount of time, so I'm assuming it was a job well done. Based on what I WAS able to do see, I wouldn't hesitate bringing them back again in a another 2-3 years.

They were very difficult to get in contact with to schedule an appointment. I did not hear back from them until I called Angie's List. I tried emailing and calling. Now the deal has expired and they are not going to honor the deal which is very disappointing as I tried contacting them several times.

They accurately diagnosed the problem w our dryer and efficiently cleaned the vent. Unfortunately, the problem has returned.

The RC serviceman arrived exactly on time. He was very pleasant and polite and accomplished the duct cleaning in a reasonable amount of time. Besides that he was very neat and careful. He was also honest enough to tell me that I did not need to have my duct cleaned as often as I'd thought I needed to! Hooray for RC. I would recommend this company without reservation.

I have nothing more to say. I thought that I had completed this form some time ago.
