RC Duct Cleaning

I purchased two of these deals. Both worked our perfectly. No issues at all with scheduling or the quality of work. Nice job.

This company was neat and clean. They showed me what my vents looked like before they cleaned them, and what they looked like after they cleaned them. He took the time to properly show me how to insert the air filters. I was also pleased that they didn't charge me extra to clean out my dryer vents. I recommended them to a friend and I would definitely use them again.

Did a good job, prompt and profesional. One problem, they replaced an outside vent cover incorrectly and left holes in the siding.

We called RC Duct Cleaning in August 2012 after purchasing a $199 duct cleaning through an Angie's List Big Deal. They said the earliest they could get us in was 10/5/12. We received a call 10/3/12 that they need to reschedule as their technician assigned to us was no longer employed with the company. We would have to wait another 2 months to reschedule and the lady's attitude on the phone was pretty much, oh well, too bad. I contacted Angie's list on 10/5/12 and received a refund for the full amount for the "Big Deal". The company didn't even call to see what had happened or why we didn't call them back. I don't know about the quality of the work but if it was anything like we experienced, I'm glad we didn't have them clean our ducts.

They did come in with a shop vac which seemed less sophisticated than I was imagining. It did an ok job but not sure how well the sanitizing went. In the end, they "forgot" about 2-3 vents that I probably would have noticed had I done a walk through but I had 2 young children running around so it was hard to do.

Two men came. One hooked hose to outside vent and other came to dryer location. They worked together to clear vent, as well as piping to outside. Inside man took the back off the dryer and cleaned, as well as removed a large build-up of lent inside the dryer vent inside the machine itself. Excellent job.

Company did not service Annapolis area

I bought a Big Deal for RC Duct Cleaning. We aren't in their area so although they did this work they told me they wouldn't come out again. I called them back the next year when we had to do the dryer vents and they wouldn't come back. It was just a couple of hours and they did the vent cleaning. I can't tell if it was a good job, I've never had it done before. It was one man that came out. It was ok.

Scheduling an appointment was easy and they were good to work with. They showed up on time, got the work done quickly, and even went above and beyond by doing a special treatment at no extra charge!

Person was on time. Proceeded quickly. (I was slightly concerned with just how quickly, but since I was having it done preventively rather than in response to a known problem, can only assume it was done well.

They were incredibly responsive, prompt and did great work. I would highly recommend them!

The service had to be rescheduled on the morning of the original date because the technician was sick. When the technician did come on the rescheduled date, he used a wire to clean the vent and then reconnected the dryer to the vent. Total time spent was less than 15 minutes. A few days later when I used the dryer, I found the laundry room was full of steam because the dryer was disconnected from the vent. I had to reconnect the dryer to the vent and seal the connection with tape.

The service provider entered on time, performed what he had to do and was very courteous.

Everything went well. I could have done without the air freshener but the smell dissipated rapidly.

They were on time, quick, courteous and did a good job. I would use them again in the future.

Angie's List: Please stop sending me these multiple reminders for evaluation. It is very, very annoying.

The service went fine. We had no problems. He was prompt, he took care of it and he seemed to know what he was doing. They were very nice.

They broke plastic vent cover and did not even tell me.

My experience with RC Duct Cleaning was good. Like 4 out of 5 stars. It was professional and everything and it was done very well. I just thought the cost was a bit much for the services provided. They were very professional, prompt, and good communication. I think it is a little deceiving. What I thought duct cleaning meant they were going to do a deeper cleaning, like into the arm, but it was really just around each vent. That was not what I had paid for.

I used an $89 Angie's List Big Deal for this service. They were fine and I thought the price was good. The job was done pretty quickly.

The only thing he didn't do, which might be my ignorance is I expected him to take something that went down in there to clean the lint filter out too and that didn't happen. I didn't ask him to do that but I thought that would be part of it and it wasn't. So I had to go out and get something that would get down in there. Next time, I would ask him to clean up that piece. They did what they said they would do. They cleaned it up and said it was in good shape.
