Donna and Phil have been our pet sitters for many years and it is hard for us to imagine trusting anyone else with our pets. They are excellent at handling dogs with varying temperaments and quirks, are responsive to the individual needs of each animal and are highly professional and conscientious. They have shown great judgement as to when they should or should not contact us while we are away. They also go above and beyond when needed, such as checking repeatedly on our pets when the air conditioning went out and making sure that they had plenty of water, access to the cool basement, and did not show signs of becoming overheated, as well as calling in a repairperson on our behalf. We recommend them highly if you are a pet owner who wants to know that your pets will get the same loving care when you are away that they would get when you are at home.

Donna would come every day and feed and water our 7 indoor cats along with any out door cats that might show up at our back and front doors. She would clean our 3 cat litter boxes, sweep up any messes our cats would make, take outside any recycle boxes and cans that needed to go out. She would turn on and off different lights each night to show everyone we were home. She ask me our daughters telephone numer who lived 45 minutes away in case of an evergency, we also gave her our cell phone numbers to reach us in Canada. She ask where our shut off valve for the water and the electricity was, whick I never thought about. This was our first cat setter and I would use Donna again and reccomend her to all of our pet friends.

Donna fed the cats, made sure they had water, and cleaned up their litter boxes. She also had to give two of the cats medicine twice a day. I trust her and her husband because I have been using them for years. They always leave my home in excellent order. They have gotten my mail in the past, and if need be they will leave a light on at night. They are very reliable and I trust their advise if I have any questions about the care of my cats. My cats are feral, elderly, and don't usually respond well to others. They did respond well to Donna and she was able to get them their medication.

Peace of Mind completely lives up to their name: when they are on the case, you can be assured of outstanding pet care and have complete 'peace of mind' leaving your pets in their hands. I have relied on their services for many years, and have never been disappointed. I'm not one of their largest customers -- I have tended to just use their service for a visit once a week, or so, for a dog walk and attention to my cat -- but they provide the utmost time and attention regardless. My pets react very well to them, and I always know they are in good hands. They have the expertise and experience with pets to adeptly handle any unusual issues that might arise, and always report back during each visit with the status. More than once, they have alerted me to a possible medical issue when witnessing behavior or activity that was not quite right, that I neglected to notice. While I no longer require regular visits due to a change in my schedule, I am confident that I will be able to depend on their excellent service when the need arises, and I highly recommend their services to others.

When they started, there were 5 cats and 2 chinchillas in the house, but now I'm down to a single cat. Throughout the 8 years, it has been a positive experience. They genuinely care about the welfare of the animals, and take great pains to make sure that the pets get the best care possible, on a regular schedule. For my pets, Phil has been the primary caregiver, and he was a best buddy for my old male cats (sadly no longer with us). During the big snow 2+ years ago, I was out of the country. For several days, Phil couldn't drive to my house, but had to park some distance away and slog through 2-3 feet of snow to take care of things here. Even when I'm at home, because I'm somewhat disabled I occasionally need help with medications, claw clipping, ear cleaning, etc. If it's more complicated than usual, Donna comes with Phil to make things easier. They have become good friends as well as super pet care professionals.
