I was disappointed because I paid for the estimate with , Chimney Tek and I had at least two other companies who did the exact same inspection for free. Chimney Tek was caring, and did explain things well though.

Having utilized Chimney Tek for previous repairs, with excellent results, they were my first choice. Vince personally responded to my needs and efficiently performed the repairs at no cost. Hows that for customer service!

Chimney sweep took only a few minutes as well as inspection. Chimney Tek suggested that the cap be replaced with galvanized steel. Chimney Tek provided a timely estimate for the replacement and labor. I was a little astonished at the price-over $1300. We chose not to replace as we were getting ready to move.

The person then proceeded to discuss the need to change items on the furnace and hot water hearter for over $2100. When asked about the chimney was told that the possibility of carbon monoxide poison prevented any other discussion on the fireplace. I declined to purchase the extra package. I decided that this was a classic bait and switch. I expected a cleaning and an explantion of what needed to be done.

The services were performed quickly and professionally. The inspection of the chimney was helpful and pointed out some areas I might need to have serviced but I didn't feel pressured into booking the repairs. I would use them again.

Highly recommended! Professional, prompt, efficient, and fast. We've had several different chimney sweep company's over the years and most have been good. I have to say these were the best. They called twice to confirm. Called to let us know they were on the way. Once here they were super efficient and professional. Took great care to keep the area around the fireplace (we have an insert) clean. Couldn't even tell they'd been here afterward. And the inside of the fireplace was clean enough to eat off :-). They inspected all in and out parts of chimney and took photos of areas of concern like cracks in the cap and plant growth on bricks. Very thorough. And the price was a bargain compared to others. Would definitely hire them again.

Vince was amazing! I have never worked with someone so responsive via calls, emails as well as text. I needed an estimate as soon as possible and he actually stopped by the same day within just a couple of hours!!! I needed to get an inspection done and asked him if there is any possibility to get the work started as soon as possible and he squeezed my job in to start the next day. Since I had couple of things done that couldn't be done at the same day, he finished it all within 3 days. He was going to do it within 2 days, but bad weather caused a one day delay because they could not access the roof with the high wind gust. They did a great job in an amazing time and all the time he was always just a call or text away if I had any questions since I was not able to be at the property myself. Overall I was amazed and super delighted to have found someone like Vince. It does not happen often that you can find someone that you can trust to take care of things and keep you informed every step of the way. He is AMAZING!!!

Arrived on time, reviewed the fireplace and chimney condition, performed the cleaning and cleaned up. There are anomolies with my fireplace installation, and the crew made suggestions on steps to take to ensure the safety of the fireplace.

Very well. Chimney Tek was prompt in setting up the appointment and was available to conduct the sweep on Saturday, which was very convenient. Technicians were very polite and professional. They did a thorough job and were careful about keeping my family room clean.

Fast response. Skilled technicians. It remains to be seen if this work solved my leakage problem.

Not much to tell. They spent two hours here with 2 guys and were very polite. They cleaned and vacuumed, inspected the chimney and cleaned up after themselves. Their boss followed up later with a call inquiring about whether we wanted further work done and we said not at this time.

Excellent service. Did not charge me to install a new bolt in my chimney cap, which had shaken free during a storm. They showed up on time and preformed the services without any problems. I will definitely use them in the future.

Chimney Tek got the job done well and quickly. There was no mess afterwards. We picked them because we needed a chimney cleaning and we waited for a Big Deal to come up. We have a high level of trust in Angie's List. So, we took advantage of it when the Big Deal came up.

The workers arrived on time and performed the work in a reasonable time. They were very tidy cleaning the chimney to the point we didn't need to clean up after their visit. They came back later as promised to perform the further work we contracted. There was some weather that kept them from finishing as planned but they completed the work as soon as the weather permitted. After the work was done Vince called us to arrange payment of the balance. He made sure to ask if we were satisfied with the work. I would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone.

On time, fast, clean. Offered to repair cracks in chimney and replace cap but were not pushy about it.

They showed up on time. Cleaned the chimney. Explained a couple issues. Recommended additional services without pressure. Left no mess. A pleasant experience.

The chimney sweeps were very polite and respectful, but unfortunately, they never made it to my house for the first appointment. They called during the last 15 minutes of the four hour window to say there was an emergency and couldn't come. Whenever this happens, I can't help buy feel resentful of the four hours I waited (taking off work, etc.) only to find out it was for nothing. Once they came they were great.

True to previous repair service estimates, the repair cost for sealing the chimney is nearly $500.00.

Very well. The crew was very professional, effective and focused on meeting the customer's needs. The owner of the company was part of the crew and not only supervised the work but also helped complete the work itself. He was very honest about the state of my fireplace and chimney and explained what I should look for over the next few years. I would hire the company again without hesitation.

The job was pretty clean; I'll give them an A. Their pricing was not cheap, cheap but was okay, I guess. The quality of work looked pretty good afterwards. Right after I got the bid they were pretty quick and called me immediately on the next day. They were very involved, very engaged. I didn't need to call them, they called me. It was probably the only company that actually called me out of the couple of deals that I bought. They called me the next day on a Saturday. There was very good communication between us and them. His vacuum broke so he called me right away and said he could not make it and rescheduled immediately. His schedule was extremely flexible.

I bought a coupon for a special offer of sweeping and checking condition of the chimney. Making the appointment was easy and they came within the two hour window. The chimney was swept and he took photos of the condition of the exterior cap and interior of the chimney. Some repairs were suggested and a new cap which we are considering having done in the spring.

Vince from Chimney check showed up on time to preform all services. During an inspection and sweep he showed me that my chimney was cracking and unlined which the house inspector previously missed. He explained the services reccommended. Since I was not supposed to use my boiler or fireplace until my chimney was lined, he got me on his schedule as quickly as possible to make sure my chimney was safe for use. There was one piece that he had to special order for my chimney and will be back soon to finish the job. He has had great follow up for the entire job. I would reccomend this company to others.

They were on time. They appeared to be honest in their evaluation. They showed up when they said they would. It is still leaking, which I am not blaming them because they said that could happen. I plan on calling them to have them back out.
