BROAD-RUN CONSTRUCTION

Quality of work was good.. However: They did not rebuild the metal roof in the style we requested. We hired them because of how great they were when they did the estimate (even though they were the highest bid). They tripped our breaker with their equipment. Even though I was only a mile away, instead of calling the pried open a window to go to my basement to reset the breaker and did not call me. The sub contracted crew broke two plastic patio chairs and a Spanish tile. They dropped a rafter and put a hole in my siding and initially denied it. I paid in full and they promised to come back fix the hole. They have never contacted me. To make the repair they need to take siding from somewhere else on the house. We had storm damage in an eave of the house but their price from them was too high. This would have given them the product to repair the damage they caused. It's been a long time. Not once have they contacted me about repairing the hole. Additionally, they were having product issues with my job, seemed in a hurry and were intimidating to me. I had a friend here at the time that was appalled. They have a very good reputation and I believe they were having a bad month. However, common business practice should be to make right what they damaged. .

I only wish all contractors were as good as Broad Run. Knowledgeable, punctual, meticulous, a great crew in every regard.

Chris and Dale were extremely punctual.....started right at 730am.......didn't waste a bit of time. They work together like a well-oiled machine. We were amazed at the speed they were putting the windows in. I can't even find a speck of caulk out of place. The windows all look great from outside and in. They usually install thermal industries windows.....and thats what we went with. Solid windows....seem well made. Most of the windows were standard double hung......however a double casement and a Garden window was put in the kitchen. We really like the garden window .....and glad we paid the extra $$ to do. Can't say enough about the work they did. I hope people will read this......and realize that the bigger companies are not always better. Go OLD SCHOOL and get the high skilled guys that do the work themselves...get what you pay for !! Kudos to Broad Run
