Refinished our wood floors years ago. Did such a good job, just hired them again for another house. No problems. Only reason not 5 start is b/c no one is perfect; i don't give out 5 stars.

Redoing hardwood floors is expensive. I would budget 20% more than what estimated, but I like to err on the side of caution.

The experts at Premier Hardwood Floors gave me a free estimate and were able to fit me into their schedule at short notice. They were responsive to my questions. When there was a small hiccup, they were able to work with me and get the job done to my satisfaction. I had an HVAC technician in to my place and he raved about my floors and asked who I used. I won't need my floors redone anytime soon, but I would use them again and I highly recommend them!

My husband and I just bought our first house. We could tell that the hardwood floors were the original from the 1950's and that they had never been refinished. We wanted to get the floors re-done before we started moving our furniture in, but it was going to be a very tight timeframe. We bought it on a Tuesday, and Premier came out on Thursday to do an estimate. My husband talked to Chris and explained our situation with the time frame; she was able to get a team to start the floors that Saturday. They came Saturday, Sunday, and Monday; and the floors look amazing!! They were always on time, and did a great job communicating with us. Chris was amazing to work with, and Tim was very knowledgeable and honest about what he recommended for our floors. I could not be happier with the work they did, and the exceptional customer service they provided. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to refinish their hardwood floors.

They did great work for a good price

Very professional in all aspects. Cooperative, understanding, willing to adjust schedule to accommodate us. Workers were always on time, did an excellent job in limiting dust. Office Manager (Chris) was super in keeping us informed on all aspects of the job. Excellent work in removing old carpeting, then sanding and refinishing the existing hardwood floors/steps. Workers gave that "extra" effort to please.

Tim was ready for installation when we needed him and flexible when we needed him to be flexible.

I had met with the owner, Tim and my first impression was that he was very knowledgeable and seemed like a honest guy so I hired him to sand, seal and finish the hardwood floors in the living room, dining room and the stairs. The day of service I was informed that the damaged wood in the foyer and in the dining room would need to be replaced as Tim and I had discussed during our consultation. I gave the okay to replace the wood with the same variety of oak flooring that was removed but I was surprised and disappointed by the much lighter wood installed. I was informed that after the application of the floor sealant and top coat that the floor would have an amber tint to all the wood and appear very similar. The finished product was not even close and the much lighter wood stands out like a sore thumb. There is one piece of wood that is greenish grey and appears to be another species of wood. After failed attempts of contacting Tim I contacted his assistant and refused to pay for the remainder of the bill until the job was completed. Tim agreed to meet with me at the house and he agreed to sand and stain to improve the appearance of the unmatched wood. He asked me to pay the bill and hold $250 until the work was completed the following week. The last two weeks have been very frustrating after many failed attempts of contacting Tim and again he has been unresponsive. His assistant Lauren apologizes and promises to be in touch but nothing in response to the repair. Currently, I have contacted my credit card company for a charge back for the amount of sanding the two rooms and the replaced wood in the living room foyer and the center of the dining room floor and although my overall experience has been terrible I feel it is fair to pay for the stairs and trim since that was done correctly. I am in the process of hiring another flooring company to gently sand and apply a stain to disguise and cover up the lighter wood. I am also reporting this company to multiple agencies including the BBB.

Tim and his crew were great to work with. Started with living room and dinning room and will eventually do the rest of the house. Floors look amazing, like new.

Overall I ended up being pleased with the final results of my hardwood floor refinish work. The work crew made some mistakes in the staining that had to be corrected which they did. I really wanted a much harder surface than the water based poly gives but didn't know the questions to ask. This should be part of the initial evaluation done by the company. All in all I would call them again as they did a pretty good job.

My apartment's old parquet floors were damaged and needed to be refinished. The estimate that Tim, the owner of Premier Hardwood Floors, provided was quick and painless, and he knew exactly how to fix the damaged parts of the floors and worked within my schedule and with my condo's rules. The contractors who performed the work showed up on time, were proficient, and did excellent work. No complaints.

We were very happy with the work! The floors looked beautiful and we had countertops done too in our kitchen and the end result was amazing! The work crew was prompt, very friendly, and professional. We only had an issue with communication about the project start date but the company was able to give us the day we wanted so we appreciated their efforts!
