There was a lot of miscommunication about scheduling. I sent several messages to the provider via Angie's List about scheduling but never actually scheduled an appointment. We got a call at about 6:45 am on Monday, Sept. 28th from the business owner, letting us know that the painters were on their way and profusely apologizing for never actually scheduling the appointment. Because we had no advanced warning, we had not yet picked up the paint. The business owner graciously offered to have his painters pick up paint for us, which they did (and we reimbursed them). However, I wish we had advanced notice because we would have selected a different paint. The painters went to a store far from our house, whereas we would have gone to one of our two local big box stores or our local specialty paint store (all within a 10 minute drive). The painters did not bring enough paint and it took them well over an hour to go get more (again, they could have told us and we would have gone to a local store while they continued to work - we were at home that day). The two painters "worked" for 5 hours and the owner did not charge us for the extra hour, but the painters were gone for over an hour to get more paint (and lunch, I think) so we really only had about 3.5 hours of actual painting. I had also assumed, based on past experience with fence painting, that they were going to use a paint sprayer. "Painter for a Day" really meant 2 guys for 4 hours and it took them the entire time to paint just the front (not the sides) of our front yard picket fence. At my old house, one guy with a paint sprayer did my entire fence on a much larger property in the same amount of time. I really appreciated the owner's efforts to help us out after the scheduling errors but overall, it was a disappointing experience. I was also surprised that they chose that day to paint, as the weather report called for rain and it did indeed drizzle a bit while the painters were working and then rained very hard about an hour after they finished. The quality of the work done was good, but we still need to paint the other two-thirds of the fence. I probably would not use this provider again in the future because others can get the job done much faster.

Excellent customer service from Ronaldo and the handyman work was of high quality. Highly recommend.

t I purchased a big deal for 8 manhours of painting and received 2 painters for 4 hours. Both men painted not just one real painter and a helper. They scheduled for one of the dates I had requested and arrived on time with all necessary brushes, ladder, tape, plastic etc. I had moved all fragile items and the painters moved a freestanding table, cabinet and bookshelf. Everything was done with care.. The painters covered all surfaces with plastic prior to painting and nothing was splashed with paint. The painting itself was thorough and professional and I am very pleased with the job. The supervisor called several times to make sure that everything was going OK. The painters spoke English and were easy to communicate with. I think I eally did get a "deal", a quality job at an excellent price.

The were extremely professional and did a great job. Spackling of the holes/ceiling was nearly perfect. Wood trim on the outside of the house looks great! Felt the guys on the job went above and beyond to do a great job and offered assistance which really helped on some of the project being worked

It Didn't. The RM owner has NOT contacted me since I paid for the services and received a confirmaiotn of my purchase. Can Angie do something???

We took advantage of an Angie's List offer. Reynaldo called very quickly and arranged a full workday. His employee, Alex I believe, was very prompt and worked all day. His work was great and he was very tidy - cleaned up everything and purchased all the necessary supplies. We were happy with how quickly and promptly the work was completed.

I had requested a quote for painting in my home. The individual who was scheduled to come provide the qupte never showed up. I had to call multiple times that day to check on the ETA for our appointment, since they were late. Eventually someone came, though annoyed, I was eager to have the work done and still willing to work with this company. I was advised that I should have a quote in a few days. Almost a week later, a quote was never received. I called to follow up on the status of our quote and was told that it would take a week for them to send a quote. It is now almost a month later and I still haven't received my quote. If this is how they handle prospective customers, I don't even want to know how (un)responsive they will be once they receive the 1/2 deposit upfront.

Rm construction was supposed to send someone out on Monday, October 5 but due to a scheduling error they were unable to come that day. However, they were very apologetic and promised to send someone out the next day, which they did. Alex came out around 8:30 and stayed until 2:30. He completed most of my ToDo list and the items that he was not able to get to where minimal. I would definitely use Rm construction again.

Arrived promptly. Very efficient and courteous. All work was done to my satisfaction. They also cleaned the area and disposed of replaced items after job was completed.

Punctual and polite. Fixed doors perfectly.

RM Construction contacted me and told me that they were running late but would be there soon. When the installer arrived he was polite and friendly. I found out later that he graduated from the high school where I currently work. I had purchased a track and he informed me that he could fix the door with the items I purchased. He took his time and got the job done well. I will use them again.

Extremely well. I purchased a Big Deal for door repair. RM Construction contacted me right away and was able to schedule an appointment the same day. We received a phone call alerting us that the tech was on his way and he arrived on time. The tech was very pleasant and worked efficiently. The door is now working correctly.

They called the same day and actually came out and did the work the same day. They were professional and did a great job!

It went great. They were professional, clean, courteous, and knowledgeable, and was quick but not rushed. Would certainly utilize their services again.

It went very well. He installed a wall fireplace for me and fixed a bathroom tile bar. He was really good.

Reynaldo and his crew were fantastic. They were easy to schedule. He clearly did his homework reading the scope of work and being clear on all the details before coming to the house. They were on time, worked carefully and precisely, asked me questions I didn't think of before hand but made a real difference in my satisfaction (for instance did I want the blinds inset in the window and how far). I had wanted to have one additional piece of work done - having an access panel cut into my ceiling - and in discussing the work with them and the positioning of the joists, decided that it would be best to postpone the work. In short I felt like I had a partner in taking care of my house - for a completely reasonable cost. I wish I'd found them sooner...

First the coupon said painters/handyman. RM Construction called and wanted to know when I wanted to schedule the painters. I explained that I did not want painters but a handyman. i was told the coupon was for painters. Not until I pushed did he say he could also do handyman work. I also found his attitude very condescending. The experience did not feel good to me. I went to the Maryland DLLR website to make sure RM Construction was licensed as they advertised. RM Construction was not found on the Maryland DLLR website - they are not licensed. I expect folks who advertise on Angie's list that they are licensed to be licensed. Clearly I want nothing to do with these folks & I hope Angie's list removes them from the list of service providers.

The service was fine. I was very satisfied with the work. One person came out and it took him an hour to complete the work. He did a great job cleaning after he completed the work. I would say that he's competent, efficient and professional.

They did a very good job. They came in and asked me what I needed done. Then they mapped out their plan and completed the work. They were prompt and they were very knowledgeable. Overall, they were an A+. The quality was very excellent.
