Clarksville came on the day required in the contract. Ours was a 1500 sq ft inside townhouse. There was a project manager and workers with different sorts of expertise. Immediately they went to work. They cleaned off all the paint that was left around the house by the former contractor and took away the garbage that he had left. While they fixed up the house the project manager was there much of the time, or his manager was there. They redid the walls, prepped them for paint and painted the entire inside of the house - the kitchen and its closets; the bedrooms and their closets; the bathrooms; the halls and stairwells; the living room; and the family room. They got the floors ready for carpeting and replaced all the carpeting and carpet pads. They repaired the wood floors and replaced wood in the floors. They put in trim and painted it, including window trim. They replaced all the toilets in the bathrooms, put in new faucets, curtain rods, put in new crushed marble countertops, and painted all the cabinets, inside and out. In the bathroom on the main floor, they also replaced the vanity and the sink, as they did in the basement bathroom. All the work was done cleanly and with great attention to detail. They put new hardware on all doors, cabinets and closets. They replaced all the light fixtures with new ones, inside and out. They replaced the front door, which the former contractor had damaged, with a beautiful wood one with glass side panels. They repaired the cement patio which was off the family room, and they repaired the deck, which they would stain after the wood had cured. We needed at least 20 new boards, and trim along the top. They powerwashed the front walk and the house, front and back. Every step of the way they communicated with us. The workers were efficient and kind; they worked very hard and really knew what they were doing. The administrative staff kept us up to date also. They made thoughtful suggestions of what we needed to do along the way, and we took many of them. Everyone was cheerful and courteous. Every day they cleaned up and left the house looking neat. In the kitchen which was the biggest mess, they rehung the cabinets, redid the cabinets where each had been broken from faulty installation, redid all the plumbing and electrical, installed all the appliances, which had been sitting around in the dust. The former contractor had not hooked up the electrical correctly, and in fact had shoved things in front of the bad plumbing and electrical work. They fixed all of this. They put in a cabinet that separated the kitchen from the dining area, and replaced the countertops with a really nice laminate. When they were finished with the kitchen, it looked like something from an after on HGTV. When they completed the work, we had the house staged, and put it on the market. It sold in a relatively short time. They came in on budget and on time. Everyone in the company was a pleasure to work with, and they were constantly attentive. We cannot say enough good things about them. They are imaginative and understand good design. Their professionalism is unparalled. After having a horrible, horrible experience with the former contractor, we felt we were the luckiest people in the world to be working with the Clarksville company. We heartily recommend them for any work you might want them to do.

Scheduling the initial consultation was quite timely. Adam August was helpful, informative and quick in providing a pretty accurate estimate. He was persistent but not pushy in the time span between providing the estimate and signing the contract. Scheduling of the work was timely as well. The office staff was quite helpful in the ordering and decision making process. During the project, the crew was personable, professional, hard working, and trust worthy. One of the best qualities of this company is that they are trustworthy to be in your house when you are there or not. The initial project was estimated to take 6 weeks. Unfortunately, the project ended up taking 5 months due to delays within and outside of Clarksville's control. Clarksville was very responsive and provided a reasonable resolution when some cabinets needed to be re ordered. The re-ordering of cabinets and getting back into their work schedule ate up some time. The other time consuming aspect was getting all of the punch list items completed. Many of the workers were very skilled and the quality of their work was great. I found the painters to be lacking. Many wall imperfections were not filled in. When I pointed out nail holes that weren't filled in they readily filled them. However, there are still holes that were missed. Also, the paint peeled off the wall with painters tape months after the walls had been painted. Clarksville readily fixed it after I brought it to their attention. As the home owner, you'll have to be very involved in the finer details and advocate for what you want when making and completing the punch list. This may be true for other companies as well but this was my experience with Clarksville. The punch list was created solely by things I mentioned which surprised me. The on site foreman was dismissive and defensive about some of the issues to be addressed however everything brought up ended up getting addressed. Overall, I feel that Clarksville Construction Services is a great company built on great values. Many of the staff were friendly,helpful, and highly skilled. With the award winning reputation, it felt that the company was growing faster than it could keep up with in regards to quality control. As noted above, I would recommend Clarksville Construction to others with some reservations.

He was very nice and looked professional. Our works were relatively small but their estimate was too much in our budget , so we did not use the service.

They did a great job. I am so glad I decided to go with this solution rather than drywall over existing drywall. The company has a very skilled team and the ceiling looks new. I was amazed that they could apply mud so smoothly over the mess that they started with. I am very happy with the results.

Clarksville did an outstanding job for us. From the initial contact to the completion of the punch list they were tremendously professional, friendly, and committed to our satisfaction. We had a number of changes we wanted during the course of the work, and Clarksville met our needs at very reasonable costs.

Adam of Clarksville Construction visited our house exactly on time to inspect the job site and prepare the information for his estimate. The estimate arrived promptly and once we accepted and made our deposit, the job was quickly scheduled. The team arrived on site on the date and time promised and quickly did all of the required work: moved a piano, removed the existing carpeting and padding and molding, installed the new raised floor and installed all new molding. The team even quickly responded a few days later to help me with a small problem with a floor transition needed for our new carpeting. All of the work was done in a very professional manner. I would definitely use them in the future for other home improvements projects we might have.

We had our washing machine repaired. Unfortunately, the repairman forgot to tie down the discharge hose and a flood resulted. Since the washing machine and dryer are on the upper level, damage resulted upstairs and downstairs. The company came in and surveyed the damage and gave us an estimate. Since we were working with the insurance company of the company that caused the damage, Clarksville had to negotiate with them concerning the price. In the end, the price was agreed upon and they did the work. Since the ceiling was damaged, we had them move over a ceiling light, which we paid for ourselves. In the end, the work done was outstanding. I would recommend them to anyone and would consider them again to do work.

Adam met with my wife and I about a kitchen remodel. We gave Adam a rough budget and within the week he had and a proposal in my inbox. Adam and his team were extremely professional and responsive to our barrage of questions during the selection process. Ultimately we did not choose Clarksville Construction but would certain recommend and use them for future projects.

Company was very responsive and communicative throughout the process - scheduling estimate, updates on door order, and scheduling installation. Workers arrived promptly at scheduled time. Through efforts were made to minimize disruption/mess to rest of space (ceiling to floor barriers installed, careful with moving items). Checking with me throughout the day (I was at home) as to their approach, choices for particular decisions, confirming that I was satisfied with the work. Installation went seamlessly. They were very attentive to details and made sure everything was done properly. Note: Pricing included the door. Good guidance/recommendations regarding which products to use - reinforced the choices we had already made.

Clarkesvile Construction was prompt in responding to my initial call and quickly provided a cost estimate and contract. After signing the contract and making an initial deposit, the worked was scheduled. All work was performed on the scheduled day in a very professional manner.

We were very pleased with the way the company was sold to us in the procedure for the estimate and the pre-construction conference. They really did a great job in finding us very customized doors at a reasonable price considering what everyone else could offer. Workers were on time and everyone we dealt with was pleasant. Our negative aspect was that the work was not performed to the high expectations we were led to expect. There were items we intentionally had placed in the contract that were overlooked. These items would not have been installed if we had not pointed it out immediately before work started on the second day. We complained about other items that were then corrected as much as they could be after the fact (some personal property was damaged irreparably after we specifically asked if items needed to be moved and were assured they were fine to be left in current location). In the end, we are very pleased with the final product but disappointed that it was apparently necessary to watch everything so closely rather than just let people do the job that they were hired to do in the first place. If the rating system allowed it, we would rate overall score to an A-.

The workers were very nice, but the project manager was very problematic. He ordered and the workers installed the wrong siding and molding. Our phone lines were cut and it took 3 weeks to repair. Not only did he make multiple mistakes and ignore what we told him, he argued with us (like telling us there wasn't a phone jack in the sunroom prior to construction, like telling us to just paint the siding because he forgot to order the pre-finished stuff we paid for), and said they opened the wall to look for the cut phone lines which did not occur. The workers had to put up siding twice, install molding 3 times, and reinstall the ceiling light receptacles because they were put in incorrectly, and an electrician had to come out twice to reinstall phone lines. The cedar shake at the back of the house was installed crooked. My husband needed to explain to the workers how to install the siding (the second time) so that the nails would not show. We were told the job would be done in 2 weeks, but it took 7 weeks because so many things had to be done over, and we had waiting time when new materials had to be ordered.

I am extremely pleased with the work that Clarksville Construction did on my shower remodel project. Each representative of the company conducted themselves in the most professional manner, kept me informed at each juncture and always provided timely follow-up. The original shower was probably over 30 years old, partially tiled and contained an acrylic base that was increasingly difficult to clean and a shower door that was increasingly unappealing. I chose to have it re-tiled to the ceiling, to include a glass border, cut-out shelves, corner shelves, and a fiberglass basin but the most challenging parts were a modern sliding shower head and a modern frame-less shower door, both of which were novel installs for the shower install team assigned to my project. So there were a few bumps along the road in terms of ill-fitting or missing parts from the shower fixture & door vendors, or extra paint/repair required due to the initial demolition of this rather small space, but each team met each challenge with positivity, confidence, expert resourcefulness and in the most timely manner. I dealt with 3 project managers - the first who provided an initial estimate and explained the entire process in terms of setting expectations; the next drew up a design on paper with pretty exacting specifications; and the last kept me apprised of overall daily progress while checking in with the onsite team regularly. After working with a team member on product selections, and making the rounds to a few stores, I then was assigned a team of 2 who performed the demolition, tiling, and installation. That team lead was excellent in that he prepared me with enough details to know what to expect each day, and he always inquired about my preferences wherever multiple cosmetic options presented themselves. I really appreciated that. The team always arrived early, stayed as late as mutually possible, worked quietly and diligently, and was very respectful of their surroundings by thoroughly cleaning up after themselves. And the installation is impeccable - I receive so many compliments on the new shower and I look forward to using it whenever I can. The team that painted the surrounding area was very friendly and helpful when I asked about general paint-related issues, and again, did a very professional job. There were a few days when a shower fixture part kept breaking and a more senior member of the company made it his mission to come out, evaluate and lend a hand in resolving the issue, which he did in a highly satisfactory manner. He also recommended better fit-and-finish changes to the shower door which the team promptly made, all at no extra cost. This is a long review, and overall it was a project that extended beyond the couple week estimate due to the parts issues, but I am so pleased with the patience, expertise and high degree of professionalism shown by every team member that I don't think this review even captures half of my appreciation and gratitude. The cost was higher than another competing consultation but I think it is worth paying for that type of quality work I received, the lack of stress I experienced, and for all that is required to support such a quality team in terms of experience & expertise, well-honed office and project management, timely and knowledgeable responses, and the lengthier warranty that Clarksville Construction provides. I will attempt to include before and after pictures to this review. I highly recommend Clarksville Construction and plan to use them for another renovation project in the (hopefully) near future.

Everything went great! The workers started on schedule and finished on scheduled. They were punctual and came everyday. The workers cleaned up behind themselves everyday and built a barrier on demo day for the dust. All the workers were very professional and pleasant. Glad we had Clarksville Construction do our bathroom!

The company did a high quality job, on time, and left the house in a clean shape

Went very well - loved the online calendar that showed what they would do and when. Estimate was very accurate and would have been more accurate had I not decided to upgrade some items. Were very willing to work within my budget and were very responsive to all my requests. They had a variety of providers to contact for materials and I loved the ones I chose to work through for cabinets and granite/quartz countertops. Would definitely use them again,

It took them about five minutes to unscrew the kitchen cabinet. The worker, who was not a carpenter used an epoxy base to hold the wood pieces of the drawer together that had a bad odor. I could not use the drawer for more than a week even after it dried. I had to ask them to pick up the drawer because I couldn't use it. If you are paying to have a carpenter do the work, don't send out a plumber. The company did rectify the issue with the drawer and had a good attitude about making the correction. The job was very overpriced. They typically do not handle small jobs but kitchen renovations.

From start to finish, Clarksville did an awesome job for us. There estimating was very good - detailed to how we wanted to see it to allow us to compare to competitors Good communication - they assigned a project manager that we could reach out to at any time to get questions or concerns addressed. Punctuality - showed up on time and worked to agree schedule for core of work. Site clean-up - Bulk of the excess drywall was always hauled away at the end of the day. They weren't always great at cleaning up dried mud or vacuuming up the dust from sanding sufficiently. We had a bit of a clean up on our hands in order to be ready to lay carpet. However, in fairness, we didn't let them know. I am sure had we done so, they would have corrected it to our satisfaction. Quality - Really good. Drywall, tape and floating looks great. Once the walls were primed - they looked perfect. Follow-up - In the bathroom, the taping and floating had not been far enough in to where tiling was to be done to ensure we had a smooth transition from tile to painted surface. We put the call in and they were back out within a day and found a couple other spots in the bath that needed touch up. Trustworthy - They hung a lock box on our basement door allowing them to come in and out as they needed - relieving us of the need to be home every time they came. It worked well - we had no problems with contractors having direct access to our home. We will be using them again should the need arise.

They did a great job bailing me out of the completion of a DIY job I didn't realize was going to be so difficult. I won't again select round tiles for a chair rail!

Work performed satisfactorily and onschedule

This is the third time I've used Clarksville Construction for a home renovation. This time around they remodeled our kitchen - basically gutted the kitchen down to the drywall, and installed new flooring, lighting, cabinets, countertops, plumbing, paint, appliances, etc. Service was performed professionally - responsive, flexible, good workmanship. As with any project there were random issues that come up - they handled those quickly. I would use them again, for sure.

Prompt response to our phone call and got back fairly soon with an estimate for a new front door with sidelights. It was VERY high and twice the budget that we'd allotted. We did not use this firm because of the high cost. We then sought other estimates and found a firm within our budget.

Everything went well. They were punctual, thorough, trustworthy and all work met my expectations. All work, except granite countertop, was done by their own crew, so multiple contractors were not involved.

They were very polite, professional, and thorough. They also had nice material that they left with us. We liked everything about them, but just decided to go a different direction.

They can do everything. I'm going to use them for everything. They are very detail oriented. They are prompt and responsive. The quality of their work is excellent.
