I live in a trailer and it is a nightmare to do anything in the small utility room. In pulling the dryer out to retrieve a dropped object, the vent hose was damaged from pushing it back and I could not straighten it or replace it. George from Gracie came out and evaluated the job and ordered parts to replace the old hose so that it would be more stable. He returned as promised and completed the job in a very quick fashion and reasonable price. Have used them before and would recommend them highly.

Arrived promptly and replaced burner. Everything went well and he was very professional.

Mr. Gracie showed up within the time period promised. Very kind, professional and went right to work determining the cause of heat build up in the cycles. Found the problem, replaced the vent tubing and instructed us how to prevent this in the future, very kindly. Mr. Gracie was just as personable and gracious as he was over 20 years ago when we began using his services!

My complete Air Conditioning system stopped working and sought Gracie Appliance for evaluation and possible repair. They responded very quickly and were very professional. They did a thorough evaluation of our system which included diagnosis for our inside system, outside unit and all electrical. They were frank about the systems condition and options for repairs. Knowing that we were very concerned about pricing, they provided options for the complete system, partial repairs and then recommended a complete system replacement. They provided a number of companies that they were comfortable with their quality of work and work understand our price concerned. We took their recommendations and replaced our complete system. We are extremely happy.

It's my friend's company. I spent about $500 for their service. I called my friend and he came out fairly quickly, which was about two days later. The problem was that the bearing on the fan outside the compressor had gone bad. I didn't have to replace the unit and that would have been $5000 to $6000. Since it's an older unit, he looked at the motor and there was no equivalence or anything. So, he said that he would come down and take the motor out to take it to the town and match it physically, which he did. He found one that matched and installed it for me. I wasn't sure how quickly he would be able to do that, but he took it out in the morning and replaced it in the afternoon. I have known him for probably 25 years now. I had to accept the price because I had no clue. The price for the labor was certain, but I had no clue about the motor because the main thing was to match it well enough. If I ever need a new air conditioner, then my friend can't because his license is set up basically to repair and not to install. He actually recommended another company if I have to replace the unit. I don't want to buy a new system for $5000 or $6000 if I can get it repaired for $500. My friend said that if it could be fixed, he would fix it and if he couldn't, then he thought that the other company could be the one that I might want to look at.

The repair tech was courteous, but was INCOMPETENT. Replaced an electronic keypad (retails for $120). It took about 1 hour to replace. Total bill was $470 (assume $350 was labor). I asked for itemized bill( parts + labor), but he refused to provide it. He could not get the top plate reattached and said he would return in a few days after he got a part(that was a month ago). I call, but do not get a return call. I feel that he overcharged and he had no intention of returning!!
