Dulin Cut & Trim

The service was terrible. Being new to the Pasadena area, I was nervous to hire a random company, but from their website advertising family orientation, I hired them to come out on a Tuesday around noon asking to be notified beforehand so that I would physically be there when they were. Around 1:30/2:00 p.m., I had not received any notice so I called and was informed that he forgot to call - but they were on there way. About 15/20 minutes later, they called to cancel due to a flat tire and rescheduled for that Friday morning. Disappointed, but I confirmed Friday since sh*t happens - I get it. I again requested to be notified when they were headed to my house, so that I could be there. I'm again weary of new companies and prefer for them to earn my trust with their work quality and how well they keep their word. Friday rolls around, and no call all morning. I called at noon to see when they were coming, only to be notified that they had already been there and left. He stated that it was a two man gig that lasted around two hours and it was a "windy" day, but they did the best they could. I asked why they did not notify me when they were on the way - and all Randy could say was that he did not remember me requesting it, and promises that they were working the entire time there. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and expected the yard to look clean since it isn't a big yard to begin with and all they had to do was pick up leaves from the flowerbeds and sticks from the yard. I came back to my drive way being covered in broken twigs, a pile of leaves by my garage, and less leaves but still leaves remaining in my flower beds. For two hours of work and two men, you would think they could do a better job at cleaning a yard that is less than 0.18 acres. I'm basically paying $160 for a yard service that my neighbor's kids could have done for $40 or less. I had high hopes since this is the first time I've ever used a landscaping company, but completely disappointed.
