R&L Pressure Washing Painting and Decking

I purchased a 'Big Deal' package offered by R & L Pressure Washing . I left a message to arrange a date and Luis returned the call the same day. An appointment was set for the following week. Unfortunately it rained and Luis called to explain that the work could not be done in the rain, so another date was set. Luis arrived and he and his partner did an excellent job. There was an additional cost to clean the siding of a 4 seasons room that had been added to the house, but the cost was reasonable. Luis also pressure washed an exterior cement entrance area without additional cost. I look forward to using R & L Pressure Washing in the future, and will recommend the company to friends.

They did charge me more, but I knew it was a possibility. Based on the Big Deal it was up to 200 square feet and my deck is 240. So I knew I was going to pay extra for that. I thought it was going to be a dollar square foot and he actually gave it to me for 75 cents and that was great. The steps going up to the deck, I knew that was going to be extra and it was $1 a step. Then I had the posts power washed and I knew that was going to be extra. I wasn't surprised by any of these. It was very reasonable. But I knew when I booked it that I was going to be paying more, so I was completely fine with all of that. It was clearly marked on the Big Deal. They did an amazing job. They were very professional.

Fantastic work. I was extremely pleased with the look of the finished product and certainly feel I got my money's worth.

I had purchased an Angie's List deal for the pressure washing and then asked to have the window-washing added on. They did a fantastic job. They arrived on time and were very professional, nice, and clean (removed their shoes before coming into the house, for example). The house looks great and the windows -- inside and out, including screens -- are sparkling. I highly recommend them.

Appointment successfully scheduled by adjusting quickly to rapidly changing forecasts of rain days. Arrived promptly on requested work day despite need for customer-requested last-minute schedule change. Work was completed in timely fashion and met all expectations. Would not hesitate to use services again.

An excellent experience. Mr. Ortiz contacted me within 30 minutes of the message I left for him. He was very professional and friendly. We made an appointment within the week. He arrived prompty on time and did such a great job on the patio I asked him if he would also power wash the back of the house. He did a great job and there was a lot of dirt and grime on the patio, by the time he was finished it looked close to brand new (it is 13 years old so close to brand new is quite an accomplishment.) He was very careful with moving the grill and patio furniture prior to the work and then moved it all back into place. R&L Powerwashing was the 4th company I called to perform the work. His estimate was the best of all 4 and he was the most responsive. I will hire him for all my future power washing needs and have already recommended him to a colleague.

Overall, service was excellent. A+, in fact. I think Luis (the owner) is honest, genuine and very hard-working. I hope he gets a lot of business. His hired help did not do the best job on the first attempt to stain, though. There were spots and streaks on one half of the deck where his application of the stain was not very consistent. It contrasted sharply to the other half which was done very well. Here's where Luis gets my business in the future, though... After I emailed him some photos of the results, he decided on his own to return and do a more thorough and better looking job. His response was very professional and I will certainly remember to call him first next time.

I was really impressed by the pressure washer. I thought they did an excellent job. Initially, I have had people say, “Oh! We can’t do this. It needs special this and special that” Those guys came out and they just did an excellent job. It was really quick, a lot faster than I could do it and probably cheaper. More expensive obviously even with special stuff than I couldn’t have done but I couldn’t have done it in time or as well as they had done. So I was very impressed when I keep looking at it. They did it on a Friday and every time I go outside and I look at it, “Oh! It looks really good” They did not charge me anything more outside of the big deal. I had considered having some extra work done but my wife said it was outside the budget, so we didn’t. I understand add-on business is really the key to them but we were just outside the budget. They performed much better than I anticipated. They were really good with the landscaping; just an excellent job. I mean I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Weather wasn’t cooperative. We had a lot of rain here. So they had to reschedule a couple of times. I would recommend them.

There were some hiccups with the scheduling but once he arrived the job went well. I have never had this service provided before so I would have known to ask what he was going to spray on the house. A bleach/soap wash came first...I was not prepared for the bleach which created a strong odor in the house and a brightening of my deck in some areas. After the wash there was a thorough rinse. My house hasn't looked this nice since the siding was replaced!

Quality of work was excellent. Very happy with result. The workers were very respectful. Punctuality was an issue though. They said that they were going to come at 4:00PM. Didn't show until 4:30PM. Then they didn't have enough cleaning material to do the job. Had to leave and go buy more. Bottom line: didn't get started till 5:30PM. Had to come back another day to finish the windows. Bottom line. They did a great job. I plan on using them again.

R&L was prompt, courteous and professional. Luiggi completed the work by himself in about 2-2.5 hours. I was asked to view the work after completion to ensure my satisfaction. I was surprised at the extent of the cleaning which showed up significantly. I did not expect the "before" and "after" results to be so markedly different. I would use this company again and would recommend them.

Luis was very courteous and professional. He showed up on time and did a good job. After power washing the deck, he needed to wait 24-48 hours for it to dry for sealing. Luis could have left all the deck furniture in the yard knowing he was coming back soon to finish up the job. But he put everything back in its place. I appreciated his commitment to quality and would recommend him to others. The deck looks great!

The earliest they could be scheduled was a couple of weeks after I called, and I would have preferred sooner. They came and scrubbed the exterior and then hosed it down. Looked good except for a couple of spots that I pointed out and that they touched up.

No show for the appointment to clean the windows and no contact from R&L. We called him several times and when he finally got back to us he said he had truck troubles so we rescheduled for 5/31 at 8am. No one showed up at 8 am and after several calls, R&L called my wife back at 1:30pm and said he had bank troubles and would be there at 2:30pm. Finally showed up and did a good job on the windows but missed the outside of one completely. He did adjust the price because of the scheduling problem.

Unfortunately, our siding is 40 years old and has never been cleaned. As a result, all the road grime of a major commute route has settled on our siding. The pressure washing was a last ditch attempt to see if we could make it look presentable. Although he pressure washed for longer than usual and used cleaner, the grime was only partially cleaned. R & L pressure did all I could ask them to do and we highly recommend them for their service.

Called him seeking pressure washing and window cleaning--said his first available appt was 7 June--told him that wouldn't work for us as we needed the job done before 1 June. He then said he could do it on Memorial Day weekend, if we could. We agreed to a Sunday appointment. Sunday morning he called to say his equipment was malfunctioning and could he come later in the week. We agreed to a Thursday appointment. He said he'd call Wed night but did not and didn't show up on Thursday. I called him several times Thursday and this morning but only got voicemail. He never returned my calls. When we made the initial appointment, he asked that we do the business outside Angie's List. I guess I learned a lesson there. Strongly recommend you look elsewhere. Looks like another person had similar experiences this week with this company.

It was fine. They came right on time. They were very accommodating in scheduling me. The only thing was I had to pay a little extra since my deck was a little larger than the Big Deal covered. They deck looks great. They were very considerate of the property, and the neighbors property.

I spoke with the firm's representative about having power washing (house & deck), window washing, and deck sealant done. I asked for an appointment for him to come give me an esitmate. He said he'd call me at 6:00PM that night to get the address and come out. He never called back to either the home or work number which he had. Very poor responsiveness and professionalism.

Luis drove out of his way to come to our house to provide the service of gutter cleaning, and power washing of the entire house. I asked him specifically to please be careful of my garden, and our French doors, which are wood, and would not stand up well to direct and powerful spraying. Luis accommodated everything I asked of him, and he was very pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend him & company for any of these services.

Liugi came over within an hour of calling him, and he agreed to power wash the spindles and rail the next day, which he did – Then we have to find a stain that would be water-based and used for softwood and hardwood. - We settled for two products – one product was used the softwood and another for the hardwood – Luigii carefully applied the proper stain the rails and the spindles. His work was excellent and would recommend him to friends.

On time, worked diligently and did a good job. Having him come back to do windows inside & out.

Luis was very professional and knowlegable. He arrived on time and ready to work. He advised against sealing one area that was stained, recommended restaining it. When the job was done, all the algae was gone and the wood looked fantastic. I'd use him again and recommend him to others.

Luiggi was prompt and courteous. Brought all of the equipment he needed. Used a ladder to get to our large deck, which is not otherwise accessible except through the house. Very detailed, really cared about the quality of his service. Called to follow-up and returned to re-do a portion with no complaint, pleased to do it. Highly recommend him and I will use him again.
