R&L Pressure Washing Painting and Decking

They left a little trash in our yard, but overall they did a good job. We did have a bit of scheduling issue, we had to contact them. Once they got out here though, they did a good job.

Luis and his helper arrived right on time. Our coupon was for the basic house, but we told him we also wanted the deck, additional space and windows and doors done. The estimate seemed reasonable, so we accepted it. Many years had elapsed since previous cleaning. The team was very efficient and very careful in removing the window screens, furniture and plants on the deck. They worked continuously for 6-8 hours. It took that long to remove the mold and get the deck and windows back to tip top shape. We were very impressed by R&L and recommend them highly without reservations.

Showed up right on time. Explained exactly what they were going to do and how long it would take. Did an outstanding job. Our siding looks like brand new. Would definitely use them again.

I called Luis to get a quote on power washing and sealing my deck. I left a message on his voicemail, but he called me back within 20 minutes. I set up an appointment for a week later. He gave me a 2 hour window when he would show up. Luis called me an hour and a half into the window to tell me he was on his way. Luis and another worker arrived within the window, quickly discussed with me what would be done, and its price. I also asked him to pressure wash the back of the townhouse. He quoted me $99 to do the back, in addition to the $250 for the deck pressure washing and sealing. I agreed and he began working. The two men worked for about 2 hours, then Luis rang my doorbell, told me he was done, and asked me to go have a look. The deck and house looked great -- I did not notice any uncleaned areas. I paid the full price then, which included sealing the deck. Luis told me he'd be back a week later to seal the deck, and since I had already paid, he could come and do the work even if I wasn't home. Today, Luis called right at the beginning of his 3 hour window, showed up shortly after and completed sealing the deck within about 40 minutes (less, I think). Again, he asked me to check out the work, which looked good to me, then he left. Luis never stepped foot inside my house. He insisted that he walk around the long way to get into the back yard (I live in a middle unit townhouse, so he had to walk around another house to get there). He was straight forward and professional. The work seems to have been done well, and I am satisfied. I would hire R&L again.

We are very pleased with the results. R& L power washed our house today and it looks fantastic. We have had this done by another company and the results were not nearly as good. The company contacted me promptly after I purchased the big deal. Scheduling was easy. They sowed up on time, after calling to say they were on the way. They were courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Luis showed up on time and it was raining fairly well. He had two workers with him, Mike and Henry. Luis and one of them worked outside, one came inside to clean windows. Not sure if he was a day worker, or new, but he was extremely slow. Did a good job but had to be watched, and instead of them cleaning the outside upstairs windows from the outside, he leaned out the window to clean them...reducing the time to move the ladder I guess, but it made me extremely nervous. Overall they did a good job with screen cleaning and pressure washing house, I have found a few spots they missed but nothing huge. I had to have Luis talk to the one worker about cleaning the window sills out before he would do it. Luis did not give me a written estimate up front (my mistake) and said he had miscounted windows and doors, so he changed the pricing, since it wasn't major I agreed. I added the basement steps while he was here and he agreed so that added to my price. Overall they did a good job but not sure I would recommend or use them again.

The power washing went fine and was done very professionally. The stain and sealant was a bit of a mess. Lots of it went on the siding of my house and we spent hours trying to get it off.

The service was fine. There were no additional charges to the big deal of $350. I thought it was great overall. I have not had it done before, and I chose them based on the recommendations online. I could tell a big difference after they completed the job.

This is the 3rd trip to our home for Luis Ortez. He has an excellent work ethic. He has always called us the night before his service date to remind us that he will be here. He is always prompt, and when he is running late he has called (Only once because of traffic). He came to powerwash the deck, but the stain had been on for so long that he had to schedule a date to come back and sand it. He didn't complain, and he agreed to honor the price he originally set for me, even though it would require twice the hours and man power. He prepped the entire area, and did all the work with a very polite work crew. He explained everything to us along the way.. Even when our dog got loose and ran into the wet stain, he laughed and painted back over the paw marks. The biggest impression he made on us was when he came to us and told us that we had the wrong kind of stain. He said that he would wait around while I returned to the store to get the right kind. He was very helpful with choosing the stain and explaining where I could find it. When I returned, he informed me (after he had already started putting it on) that this stain was not the right color lot. He said that if I wanted the result I told him I wanted, he would need another color. He actually had a color palate available and helped me choose one. Because of the stain mishaps, he was here until 8pm. He stayed until it was completely finished. He cleaned up all the mess, and was cheerful the entire time. I highly recommend him for powerwashing, deck refinishing, and window cleaning. He is wonderful!!!

The power-washing was ok. The provider cleaned the exterior but we did not see a marked improvement. We were also hoping much of the chipping paint would come off during the washing to help us when we go to paint, but it didn't. They also cleaned around the doors and windows, but because our house is so old, water came inside around the frames and the doors and windows all swelled.

R & L came on a Saturday. They were punctual, in fact called to ask if they could come earlier than scheduled. They washed and rinsed the house and cement stoop and flagstone walk. Everything looks great. They were very thorough and nice. The solution they sprayed the house with didn't affect my shrubs, but I wanted to cover a small fig tree that I had just planted, which they helped me with. The gutters were well cleaned also. I didn't really shop around for price, so I don't know how it compares to other companies, but I am very satisfied.

First time I've ever used an Angie's List coupon. I thought I'd get a lot of upsell. Did not happen. These guys are great. They always returned my calls promptly, showed up on time, and did a great job. I will definitely use them again when I need my next pressure washing done.

We purchased this deal as a gift for our friends/neighbors. They were very pleased with the service that R&L provided. He was on time and did a great job. They even got him to pressure wash their deck the same day.

Luis is such a pleasure to work with. He arrived at my home on time and immediately met with me to discuss scope of work. I really didn't think my house was too dirty but I am having the trim painted so wanted to get prepared for that and have the rest of the house cleaned too. My house is over 4200 square feet and very tall, has lots of gutters and many angles so I knew it was quite a project to get to the high places and there was a lot to wash. Luis and his team did an exceptional job. The whole house looks brand new! They were very careful to not mess up my plantings and beds I have around the house and were very detailed. When they cleaned the gutters they also hosed them completely out as well. I chose this company because I was looking for a power washing company that uses more of low pressure washing to prevent damage to siding and to flagstone. I initially did not hire him too power wash the flagstone patios and walkway, but when I saw what care he took in the rest of the house I asked him to do this too. And I am glad I did because he did a wonderful job. They cleaned up after themselves and Luis was very professional. I plan on having him back over the next few months to clean all my windows too, but at this point the windows are sparkling since he did such a wonderful job powerwashing them so I will wait a few months for this. The owner and an assistant came out to pressure wash our enclosed deck and our open deck. The wood had never been pressure washed (built in 2003) and it was interesting to see the process. Mr. Ortiz did the pressure washing and his attention to detail and willingness to take his time was impressive. All of the exposed wood was washed with an industrial strength pressure washer and the end results were beautiful. Part two involved waiting for a dry day (we had a few days of rain between the washing and the sealing) to have the sealing of the deck finished. My wife was there that day and witnessed an R & L employee take great care sealing the deck. It was a very thorough job and materials were not use sparingly. In fact, the worker had to get more sealer to finish the job. As a result, when it rains, the water beads up quite nicely. Last year we had to replace all of the flooring on the outside section of the deck and we were anxious to get it sealed this summer. The cleaning of the older enclosed part of the deck revealed the natural grain of the wood and it's nice to sit out there when the weather permits.

Luigi did a fantastic job. I've never seen our siding look good. He and his helper not only did one pass of pressure washing the entire house, he did two passes and now the siding looks gleaming white. I would definitely have Luigi do this work again at this price - what an incredible price for incredible work. Thanks Luigi!

The owner was prompt and efficient. He brought one other gentleman with him and between the two of them, they power washed my deck and stained it. They did a good job, although I realized that the price I paid did not include the labor for the deck staining. And I had to purchase the stain myself. All in all, the cost was lower than I have previously paid and I have recommended this service to a friend because I have confidence in the work. I would use him again.

R & L was very friendly and accommodating when we called to schedule our appointment. They promptly came out on the day and time that they promised. They made sure the car was out of the way, the doors were shut, the potted plants were moved away from the walls and that we had no fish in the pond before getting started! Once the house was safe, they thoroughly pressure washed every exterior wall, window, door, and shutter on the house, then went back and thoroughly rinsed every surface. The house had 16 years of dirt and mildew on it. When they were done the house looked brand new. We were amazed at the transformation. We were not expecting to see such a dramatic change. Afterwards, I kept thanking my wife for talking me into getting this done. And thank you R&L! We won't wait another 16 years before cleaning again. When it is time, we will definitely call on R&L. Again, fantastic job R&L!
