Luis and an associate did a great job rinsing down the house, which hadn't been done in years while renters were in the place. Took nearly three hours to do everything. Afterwards surfaces looked great. Luis says customers call him about every two years. I plan on using this company again.

Overall, a decent job. A few spots on the deck seemed to have been a tainted by the chemicals used, very minor, so overall a good job. The price was fair, and they were responsive and pleasant to deal with us.

He tried to charge additional fees for washing brick on a brick and siding house, but ended up just washing the siding for $199. Part of the trim was still stained and dirty after he completed his work, but he never returned to redo that section.

Two workers arrived to do the job. They were greeted by myself and my mother as I limited mobility due to illness. One of the workers identified their company and stated what work they were here to perform. I was a little confused about the work to be done so I called to verify with my husband (arranged and paid for the work). Once I relayed to one of the workers my husband's expectations, he agreed and asked if the water faucet on my front porch worked, I said yes and he began the work. After removing leaves for 15 minutes, the same worker I spoke with initially knocked on my front door and asked he he could come inside my home to add hot water to his chemicals. After looking at the boots he had on his feet, I asked him to come around to the back of my house where he could enter through my kitchen which is a tiled area leading to my laundry/utility room instead of walking on my newly waxed wood floors. Mind you, there has been a lot of rain in the area yesterday and today, so it's quite wet and a little muddy outside. Judging from his facial expression, the worker was displeased that I asked him to come around the back of my house. He gets hot water and starts pressure cleaning my house. He didn't seem to notice the mud tracks he left on my tile floors when he went back outside. Later, I watched as he quickly brushed the stairwell with hot water and moved on to the rest of the back of my house. it appeared he was nearly finished the back of my house. I came out and asked if he could wash the walls in the stair well again because the stains were not removed. We've hired a company to pressure washed our home and stairs before and the stains easily came off. The worker says, "excuse me you don't come out and tell me anything, I'm not finished with the job and I'm too busy working and don't have time to talk to you; if you need to tell me something you should wait until the job is finished." He said the job is not finished and that they go around washing the house 2 times and to come back when they are finished. I was shocked! I shut my door and then thought I want to get the name of the company and call the owner. I opened my door again and asked the name of the company so that I could call the owner because the man I speaking was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The man proceeds to tell me that he is the "owner." Again, I was shocked. I told him that he was very unprofessional and that I had every (d---) right to ask about the job being done or to point out something that I wanted him to pay closer attention to. I told him that he could have simply explained to me his power washing process and the matter would have been closed. He packed up his things, took pictures of my house and left. Picture someone with an angry face and their neck moving around in circle as though he was telling off a friend. It's not what you say, but how you say it! As a small business owner, he should understand that word of mouth is one of the best forms of advertisement. My advise to you steer clear of this company. As a result of my interaction with this company, I no longer has a desire to use Angie's List or any other service like. I will never again pay for a service in advance. Companies these days seem to think they can take your money and treat you any kind of way as a customer.

R&L did a very good job on the house making the house look significantly better. They were even able to get off some pretty bad mold. Most importantly, on the date originally scheduled they showed up and attempted to perform the job but were concerned with high winds and rather than trying to force it they came back the next day when the winds died down and did a great job. I appreciated the dedication to doing the job right.

They came on time, responded to my questions about damage from previous pressure washing (they don't use super high pressure), and did a great job. My house looked like it was Halloween year round; I was gun shy about having this done because of an earlier experience where pressure washing took off paint. They were very professional and affordable and I smile every time I look at my house. I plan to ask them to come back and help me with my deck and patio next year. Thank you R&L!

I was able to get an appointment on the day I requested (10/17). The day before that appointment I called to confirm and the company was not able to keep the appointment due to a dentist's appointment for Luis, the person I was working with. I had some flexibility so we re-scheduled for 10/20. They showed up on time. I had originally hired this company because of the Angie's Deal I got for $249 to power wash and seal a deck. Since the other deck I have is composite they would just be addressing the smaller wood deck. As they got to the end of washing the wood deck they offered to power wash the composite (it did need it) for an additional $150, I agreed. The company came back the following Saturday 10/25 to seal the wood deck and fencing. They were quite late and missed their appointment time by an hour or more. The work was completed satisfactorily but they were quite messy with both the power washing and the sealing. I know there's risk involved to landscaping, plants and such, but this was more than I anticipated. The sealer had been sprayed in such a way that the few items that remained on the deck, for example: an umbrella post and stand that was not moved, a large elephant ear plant in the ground beyond the railing of the deck, etc were over-sprayed with the sealer. I had moved most everything off and was told they would move the rest if they thought they needed to. I believe my little area (I live in a townhouse) they were working on was just too small for the large equipment they were using. The dirty water from the power washing was all over everything that got left on the deck during the job. I also believe the power washer was too strong as some of the wooden railings were splintered even though Luis assured me they were being careful to prevent this from happening. As friendly and humble as Luis was, I will not use this company again.

They were excellent. We asked them to do several extra things and to stain the deck a certain color and they worked with us to make sure it was perfect. We are so pleased with the work they did!

I purchased one of the company's specials for cleaning and sealing my deck, and I hired the owner to do a repair. They responded to my purchase of the "deal" immediately and had me scheduled right away. They did a great job -- the deck looks new and it was in really bad shape, so I was quite surprised. The deal was $249 but since things went well I asked Luis if someone could take care of some repairs to the deck -- so I hired him to do those. I had priced the job out with another company and it was a lot more. So I was glad I tried their "Big Deal" offer. Luis is great - very respectful, friendly and flexible. I had to change our schedule once and he was great about it. He and I talked directly on the phone a couple of times and he was also responsive to email through the Big Deal page, which was helpful. His staff works really hard. I will hire them again to do this and similar work.

The team did a great job -- they came to my house on the agreed date and time, but needed to reschedule the work because of high winds. They came back on a Sunday (!) to make for lost time and did a very nice job on the deck as well as cleaning the gutters. They very kindly agreed to take down an old TV antenna on the roof since they were up there cleaning the gutters (thanks!). And come back a few days later, again on the agreed date, after the wood dried to put on a preservative.

It turned out great. They came when they said they were going to. The job was done within the time frame they said it would be and they did a good job.

It went very well. I would recommend them.

Luis came by and gave a fair estimate. He and his crew were very flexible in meeting my schedule and came by the powerwash the deck the next week. After letting it dry, they came by the following week to seal and stain. The project got delayed slightly by an earlier than expected rain, but Luis & crew came by once the weather had cleared and touched up the job--it looks great! I highly recommend R&L Pressure Washing and will use them again!

That turned out well. They were professional, polite, timely and affordable. They were very responsive. They called back immediately. If we’re still here, we would use them again.

I purchased the $249 single family home deal. The company contacted me within hours of my purchase and scheduled the work for a few days later. They arrived and got straight to work. The house looks wonderful!

They insisted on coming at 9am Tuesday Oct 7 (today),even though that was not a convenient time for us. They did not show up, so needless to say the work hasn't been done, and they didn't call or send a message. I am very not happy. The money has been taken out of my checking account. How do we cancel this? I do not want to work with this company.

Luis was very responsive and professional. He came to my house to look at areas and called me with an estimate. He performed the services on the date and time that we agreed upon. His employees were very careful to move flower pots (which I have a lot of) and furniture to make sure no area were missed; and replaced everything in their proper places. The job was done to my complete satisfaction. I will definitely use again.

I got very similar estimates from R & L and Mel's to do the deck. Couldn't use the "big deal" because it was stained and needed to be restained, but I thought the price was fair. The reason I went with R & L is they were able to do the job within the week. I spoke with Luis Ortiz to confirm the work and the two dates needed to do the work, power wash, dry time, come back and stain. Everything went extremely well. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. Per our arrangement, I provided the stain. I used the same Thompson's waterseal semi-transparent. I got the sense Luis wasn't impressed with the product, as he confirmed it was what I'd used before, and then said he would apply two coats to be sure it got the job done. I thought this was very decent of him - a bit above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. The deck and stairs look great, I am pleased! I asked if he did outdoor painting as well, and he said yes - I plan to have some work done by him in the future. I was impressed by the good work and how pleasant he was to work with.

They pressure washed my top deck, bottom deck, and rails and was done in a timely manner. I was not home for the seal of the deck but it seems good and I used clear seal.

R&L Pressure Washing did a fantastic job on my home. The house hadn't been cleaned since the siding had been installed eight years previously. They not only cleaned the siding, but cleaned the shutters and exterior doors as well. The house looks brand new! I will absolutely use them again in the future.

Crew arrived on time and did an excellent job. I will definitely call them again when it is time to power-wash the house again.
