R&L Pressure Washing Painting and Decking

The pressure washing was great, I'm just waiting for them to come back and do the ceiling. The $249 big deal was for a certain square footage and we had over that, so we paid an extra $125 or something. They were out there for a long time pressure washing the deck. They weren't trying to get out fast, they were very thorough. They were really nice people and tried very hard. I think their pricing was good. The reason that I went to Angie's List is, another estimate was over $900.I thought it was a good deal. They did a good job on the pressure washing which inspired confidence with the ceiling. They have done half the job because, they can't do the seal until it is completely dry. He told me that he would be here at 3 and he got here at 2. I was here anyways, so it was not a problem that they were here early. They showed up and all of their stuff together. They did a good job and didn't leave a mess.

It went very well. The came, they washed, left it looking great and we are very pleased!

We had some problems. They got stuff all over the window when they pressured washed and they didn?t bother cleaning that off, I had to ask them to come and do that. The filler that they put on, it usually is bubble thing that gets wet but this did not. I also talked to my neighbour who used them too and she had problems with them too. They came back, they did things and they did finish, but I was not happy with the fillers that they put on. Maybe that is what you get for that amount of money. My neighbour had to call them back too a couple of times because she had problems with them. I hate to give them a bad review. When they said they will fill it, I thought that it will bubble when it rained a bit but this did not. I also had them pressure washed my whole house. Some of that went well and some did not. They knocked off a piece in my front porch, like a molding strip because we had two townhouses that are joining. So we had to replace that. For the deck they did not charge me extra but I had to pay for the pressure washing of the house. I will probably not use them again. The pricing was good but the work was not. They were supposed to come back to finish the pressure washing but they never came back.

We didn't need the sealing after all, so the provider refunded us the difference in the two jobs. The manager was polite and accommodating. The company called me to check each step of the way. Overall, they did an outstanding job. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family. Thanks for a great job!

I had originally asked about the special $249 deal for house pressure washing. However, my house has a detached garage and a screened porch, and so the coupon did not work for me. Luis offered to pressure wash everything for $350, and I decided to give him a go. He did a very good job and I believe the price was fair. I will certainly consider calling him next year to wash and stain my deck and paint the trim on my house.

Used an Angie's list deal for deck pressure washing and sealing. Took about a week to schedule the service, which was fine, the the crew showed up 3 hours late without calling. The sealing wasn't done until 3 weeks later. After the washing I emailed 3 times in an attempt to schedule sealing with no response. Then randomly I came home one day and the furniture on our deck had been moved and it looked like something had been sprayed. Very upset that the company never responded and then took it upon themselves to show up on my property and move my things and now there is sealant all over the grass around our deck. Will never use this company again. Very unprofessional and sloppy work.

I bought a special deal for a town house pressure washing (middle unit only) and gutter cleaning for $199. They did an excellent job for an excellent price! The company was able to schedule me within a week of when I called, the men arrived on time and they were thorough and efficient. I've already recommended them to some realtor friends!

I'm ecstatic with the results. It looks like a new deck - a golden brown instead of a dingy gray. Two men removed heavy furniture from the deck and worked several hours with the hose, going over every inch. When they left, everything was sparkling clean, equipment removed.

They did a great job, they're price was great, and they were very responsive when you called and always returned messages.

Luis was very professional and responsive. We scheduled his services and had to reschedule several times because of the weather. Luis was very accommodating in working around our schedules to get the job accomplished. His team showed up BEFORE time and was ready to go. They did a fantastic job on our deck and overhang at the front door. Once the job was completed, it looks better than new. As a matter of fact, our neighbors saw their work and will be hiring them to do the same. Thank you Luis for bringing our deck back to LIFE!!!!!

They had to cancel on a very rainy Saturday, and before I could call to reschedule, they showed up early Sunday afternoon and had the job done in less than an hour.,

He is extremely punctual in returning calls. He was very cooperative in trying to resolve another issue that prevented him from doing the job. Though I couldn't do the work with him, I would highly recommend working with him.

Poor cleaning of gutters. Exterior of gutters remain dirty despite multiple discussions prior to job completion. At "completion" of work, owner assured me the gutters had been cleaned at the same time as the house exterior walls. We were both looking at the gutters. The gutters looked exactly the same after "washing" as before. Owner explained to me that if I wanted the exterior of the gutters cleaned, that requires "different chemical", is a different job and would cost more. The owner is rude and pugnacious. He repeated the same things over and over without ever answering any of my questions. Not a chance in H--- I would ever hire R&L for anything nor recommend them. So I still don't have clean gutters, I'm out $200 and I still need to spend $$ to have them cleaned. By someone else.

Louis was very professional. He told us what he was going to do and followed through on every point. He was very responsive and answered all calls and questions. We are very pleased with the work he and his workers did.

In a word - TERRIBLE. Our appointment was for 8:00-8:30 AM. I was told R&L reps would notify me once 30 minutes away, but I had not received any call even by 8AM. I then presumed they will just show up (without the advance call), but no one arrived at 8AM. So approximately 8:15 AM, I phone R&L to inquire about where they are. They answer and state they are now on their way and will arrive at my house in another 30-40 minutes. When pressed on why they are so late, they stated my house is an hour away from where they are. (Huh?!) My thoughts (though I did not express such) is that it would not matter if my home was 16 hours away, plan accordingly and show up on time and if not, at least call your client regarding the delay! This company received several calls from me while waiting and their attitude about the issue was TERRIBLE. No apology for missing our appointment! In fact, once I lamented that I cannot continue waiting long past the appointment time, they stated I don't need to be home. My response was I prefer to be at my new home when an unknown contractor is hired to complete work. R&L again (without regret or apology), stated they will work on my home's exterior so I don't need to be there or if I insist on being present, I needed to reschedule the appointment. I was furious; especially about not being able to be at home to supervise, approve, or review the work being done. By 8:49 AM, I could not wait at home any longer and left. When I returned home, I realized the job was eventually done. It looked decent. I would never hire R&L Pressure Washing again, nor would I recommend anyone else to do so.

No issues...given several dates to choose from providing weather was ok. Arrived promptly, work performed. Left area clean with no mess once completed.

I originally signed up for the special power wash deals advertised on this list. When the workers got here I was informed that the deck had been painted before so they could not put a stain over the old paint. I was expecting that something would have to be modified anyway so the owner told me what kind of paint to buy and we set up another day where they could finish the job. When they returned a few days later, the owner called me at work and told me I bought the wrong paint. He offered to Home Depot and exchange the paint himself! He did this and his crew spent the day painting the entire deck and did a beautiful job. I am completely satisfied with the final result and definitely would hire them again.

The power washing was uneven and chewed up the deck in several spots. Operator seemed very inexperienced. The sealant crystalized on the deck due to cooler temps. Still shows in spots, despite almost a month of 90-degree heat.

The deck looks fabulous. Luis took a lot of time and care with it, even though it was hot and the humidity was about 100%. He even warned us that the soap and chemicals in the spray would get into an outdoor koi and turtle tank our daughter had set up near the deck, and helped us empty it so the fish and turtles wouldn't get contaminated. Was very impressed by the service!!

The quality of the work was good, but I had some issues with the service. They missed the first appointment, but were responsive and I was able to reschedule a new appointment quickly. The power wash was done well, but the spray left a film all over my windows that their team did not clean. The seal they used is working, but after a few weeks, I can still feel a residue on the surface of the deck. They also tracked a bit of the seal into the house. Overall, it was a good price, but the work could have been better.

Intially what I didn't like was the fact they advertised on your site then tell me through email they don't really service my area... Why did you advertise explaining the area in which you cover. Secondly they asked me for a date then when I provided one they decided to tell me which day they were coming and he refused to budge and stated I didn't need to be home... Then men that came was very pleasant and timely but had to leave because I had an appointment. My gutters outside still looked very dirty so I don't believed they powered washed them... They bagged all of the leaves in the gutters so they did a great job of cleaning up..

They did a perfectly fine job. The house looks great. They got all the moldy, yucky areas off of the siding.

I had found this company via Angie's List and from the beginning, Luis was very courteous and prompt in his responses. He arrived on time to his appointments and did an excellent job on my deck. After his crew sanded and re-stained the deck, it looks like a brand new deck. Thank you, Luis!
