I didn't like the fact that other walkers were assigned to me sometimes, but I made it clear to the walkers and to the owner and switching walkers was kept at a minimum. They were very reliable, showing up on time and walking for the entire 30 min time. They were also patient with me when I was late coming home from work sometimes and patiently waited, as I always wanted to be there when they took my dog out.
Description of Work: I needed a dog walker to walk my active beagle twice a day daily while I was pregnant.

+ 0 moreI have used this service so many times due to working night shifts and they have gone above and beyond my expectations. They come as late as 10pm which is rarely offered by other walking companies. They leave a report of what Portia did on her walk and how it went. They will leave me comments of how they enjoyed the walk and my dogs behavior. They will place any packages left at my door inside w/ a note saying they did so. I feel the walkers can be trusted and enjoy my dog's company. I highly recommend them as they make me feel confident that my dog will be taken care of as if it were my family doing so.

+ -1 moreThe pet sitter was prompt and thorough with her duties. Unfortunately, she got a ticket from our property's tow company (I forgot about providing her a parking permit). She was polite and professional throughout our discussion as I profusely apologized and arranged to pay for the ticket. Even after this hassle, she was courteous enough to ask if it would be okay to do morning feedings after the parking restrictions were lifted.
Description of Work: They provided feeding, litter box cleaning and spending time with my two cats.

I was extremely pleased with the job Jane did. I will definitely be a repeat customer now that I feel confident in having someone I trust to take care of my pets. In addition, I tried to give Jane a $100 tip and she refused to take it. That's never happened to me before.
Description of Work: Stayed in my home for six days with my pets; one very fearful 65 pound dog and three cats while I went to Florida for a family function and to visit my brother.

+ 0 moreThey're so awesome, I'd recommend them to everyone. Jeanine, our walker, makes me feel like she loves the dog as much as we do (and that is a lot). They leave a little report on what the dog accomplished but also, beyond that, if they notice anything odd or out of place they'll make a note of it and they'll proactively do little things without being asked (ex: bringing a package in from the rain). They're super flexible, friendly and I have great peace of mind knowing I can call them any time - even for non-dog related things. For example, we were traveling and there was a major storm where the power went out. We called them and they came over to check the house for damage and check on whether we had power etc.
Description of Work: Pet and Home Care walks our dog daily during the week.

I could not take them with me on vacation being that I had recently adopted these dogs, I felt that my dogs were in good hands and I was not worried because they were in their in home environment. The provider walked the dogs several times a day, fed them and spent the night so they would feel comfortable. The Provider texted me with updates, got the mail if needed, and watered the plants. When we got home there were detailed notes for each day on how the dogs did. I felt very re-assured and would use this provider again.
Description of Work: The provider took care of my two Golden Retrievers for the week while we were away.

Putting things back the way they found them is an issue too. The PET SETTING services are great except for administering medicine. For prolonged absences I need to board at the vet.

Their appointment request system is so easy and convenient to use, and the sitters clearly love animals. They leave us daily reports of how their visit went. They also do really helpful little things to keep the house looking "occupied" while we are away like bringing in newspapers, turning lights on and off in different rooms, etc. Super friendly and professional group.

Each day they left a note stating the time that they came and how the cat was that day, i.e. hungry for dinner, needing some extra pats etc. They rinse out the cans from the food and put them outside to be recycled. We have found them to be very professional and have used them several times.
Description of Work: The sitter arrived each day and scooped out the litter boxes and fed our cat, age 17. They also brought in the mail, and in the past have watered plants outside when requested.

+ -1 moreI have used Pet and Home Care a number of times over the last 3 or 4 years and it has always gone very well. They are good about getting all the instructions for entering the house, taking care of the cats, and whatever else may need to be done. This past summer I had one cat who had to go to the vets for infusion treatments twice a week and they added that on to the service while I was on vacation. Having the confidence that they would be at the Vets for each of the appointments allowed me to take a two-week vacation that I would otherwise have found very difficult. Their last visit was a very last minute arrangement as I had to travel with very little notice. Again, they were totally accommodating.
Description of Work: Pet and Home Care comes to my house to feed and check on my cats. They will also do things like water plants and pick up paper and mail when one if on vacation.

Pet & Home Care has been my best pet service thus far. All the pet care specialists are friendly and caring. They seem to love animals.
Description of Work: Fed and watered dog and cat for 5 visits (included one Holiday visit). Walked dog and scooped cat box. Left nice notes and often text messages to me for peace of mind that my furry babies got the care they needed.
