The staff, especially Kevin, are amazing. The dogs love them and they are caring, trustworthy and professional. Would highly recommend.

I've used them for about 5 years in Bethesda and Silver Spring for my occasional trips. I've had daily or every other day visits to my cats (2 older cats, then 3 younger cats). I trust my cats are fed, watered and litter boxes clean. Come home to notes about the cat's activity. They have had keys to apartments and codes to my front door. Always good response to communication, They bring in packages (even my weight set that came a bit late), and put mail in a nice pile. They offer other services (light housework), but I've never used that. They sent sympathy cards when my older cats passed away.

We have had a few different petsitters from the company taking care of our dogs and cats at different times and they were all excellent: well-trained, caring, and genuinely loved being with our pets. We have had daily services as well as overnight stays (crucial for our elderly dog who is used to sleeping on the bed with someone). In addition, our home was always well maintained, with mail retrieval and plant watering. I give Pet and Home Care my highest recommendation!

I've used Pet & Home Care for more than 10 years for walking/feeding my pups when I can't get home from work due to late commitments. They are fantastic! Great staff who seem to truly care about my dogs. And easy to schedule appts online - a bonus.

Pet and Home Care is the best! I travel quite a bit and it’s so easy to make arrangements for my fur babies. Plus the staff is wonderful! They really care about your animals and send updates daily so you feel better about having to leave. I would absolutely recommend Pet and Home Care!

This company is spectacular! Reliable, responsive, flexible, professional. We adore our sitter, Jen, who also gives meds to our diabetic cat and his epileptic brother! We’d be lost without them!!!!

Great reliable service for our pooch since 2009

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pet and Home Care services! I have been regularly using their services since July 2017 and couldn't be happier! I have (4) somewhat high maintenance dogs, (3) of which get regular weekly love and attention visits (usually from Brianna), while the 4th dog travels me, but when they're all (4) are at home ~ there is never a lack of attention and TLC! I was nervous leaving them at first, especially given my dogs can be a bit much and overwhelming to most dog sitters, but when I called Kira put me at ease when I explained my (4) dogs colorful personalities and the quirky details that I would like for them to pay attention to. They have a wonderful on-line booking system that makes it very easy to request & schedule services, to leave special notes, cancel/make changes to your reservation, and they're very reasonably priced for the assorted Pet sitting services they offer. They're prompt (usually within minutes) in confirming your visit request(s), leave progress notes for every visit, and should there be a problem with your reservation request they'll reach out to you immediately via email, followed up with a phone call to confirm should you not respond to the email. I've been VERY HAPPY with them and I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND them as your go-to pet sitting service!

FANTASTIC! This company is so organized, efficient, responsive! Our sitter, Jen D, is intelligent, kind, reliable, and does a fabulous job of caring for our cats!! She learned to use the Alphatrak meter to get a BG reading on our diabetic cat, after which she feeds both cats, and give the one his insulin shot based on a chart from our vet. We have complete peace of mind when she is caring for our wonderful babies and that has made all the difference in the world!

We were very happy with the service. It is run very professionally, with a web site, chat service as well as phone for contact, a formal contract for service, and thorough collection of contact and service information. It was easy to get in contact and make arrangements. The form we had to fill out to indicate the services we wanted forced us to think through what should be done in the event our cat got sick, and so learn more about local vets and animal emergency hospitals. It also forced us to think more who should be our emergency contact in case we couldn’t be reached. They suggest using a lockbox to hold the house key, although they will also accept keys from you to hold. We had never used one before, but it was easy to get one on Amazon (local hardware stores seemed to be out of stock) and it worked well. We arranged for a meet-and-greet before we left, so that the primary sitter was acquainted with the house and our cat, and we got to know her a bit. Two other sitters filled in on dates/times that the primary sitter was not able to come. We contracted for a 30 minute visit in the morning, to allow for some play time, and a 15 minute visit in the evening. In addition to feeding our cat and scooping out her litter, the sitter also brought the mail inside, watered plants one day, and switched some lights that were not on timers on and off, all at no extra charge. Since this was the first time we had arranged pet sitting in this house, with the lockbox setup, lights on timers, etc., we were a bit nervous whether it would all go OK. Initially we got no feedback that the sitter was able to get into the house and find everything she needed, so after a day we contacted the company, opting to use the chat facility on their web site, rather than calling. The chat operator immediately forwarded the request to the main office, and they sent a follow-up email right away. Soon after, the sitter sent us an email using a standard form the company provides her, with check boxes for services provided, a place for notes about the visit, and even a place for a photo. She did that several more times, so we were comfortable that all was going well. The sitter left a company-provided summary report in the house for each visit, a sort of notepaper form of the email reports that we got while away, but of course without photos. Our cat was quite happy when we got home, and we were happy that we could leave her at home and not traumatize her by transporting her to an unknown boarding facility and having her locked into a small cage for a week (although we have boarded her with our vet at our previous home if we could not make arrangements for a sitter.)

FANTASTIC company! Answers every request promptly and thoroughly. Tries to give us the same exceptional cat sitter each time which is really important because one of our cats has diabetes and needs to have his BG tested and an insulin shot given, in addition to feeding, litter, water, etc. Their record keeping and portal are stellar....so organized and thorough. I can't say enough wonderful things about this company. I never thought I'd find a service that I could truly rely on, especially with a sick pet. I recommend them to everyone!

It is a pleasure to work with Tiffany and Michele from start to finish. Services are easy to schedule on the website and they confirm almost immediately. Our cat sitter Michele is wonderful and it's such a relief not to worry about our cat or our house when we go on vacation. Can't say enough good things about Pet and Home Care!!!

We have been using Pet and home care for a couple of years now. We have occasional visits for our cats when we need to be out of town. The service is excellent and the reponsiveness of any questions is fantastic.

They are very reliable, always making their visits as scheduled. Our cat is older with issues. They give her pills each morning, which is not easy, and clean up after her messes. Also, they check the house, bring in newspapers from the yard and let us know of any problems. And, very importantly, their cat sitters appear to be very competent.

On this occasion, we required multiple visits during the day, to help monitor the condition of a dog recovering from surgery, while also walking our other dog. The walkers arrived on time and gave our recovering dog the correct dose of the painkillers we had left out. One walker was attentive enough to notice that we had left out a cone collar and asked by text whether we wanted it to be put on the dog. Both dogs were cared for and we had peace of mind that they were OK, which is typical of the service delivery we have come to expect. Pet and Home Care is absolutely essential to the smooth running of our household, allowing us to work often flexible schedules with a lot of travel. They are supremely reliable, highly responsive and pleasant to deal with. The ability to request, monitor and pay for services online has been a huge advance in terms of convenience.

Pet and home care is awesome! They are dependable and professional. They keep me updated on my cats when I'm away. Reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

Jen is my usual petsitter and she does an awesome job. My cat is very shy but she trusts Jen, which is unusual. I've been using Pet and Home Care for years now and they are by far the best pet care provider I've ever had. They even managed to get here during the blizzard last year. They leave you feedback on every visit in the form of a memo left in your home and occasionally send pictures also. I feel confident when I go away that my home and cat are in good hands! Because it's hard to interpret the way they list the cost of service, I will tell you that it costs me about $16 per visit and I have them come twice a day.

Very professional! Both of my dogwalkers were terrific--very personable, obviously loved dogs and treated my Lucy the way I would have! They were always on time and worked around my crazy work schedule and came even when the weather was bad! They were so good, even after I had the baby I continued to use them!

AMAZING. I only trust my cats to these caring professionals. Have been using this service for over 4 years. Very professional. Very trustworthy. Very easy to use the service. Very affordable. Each sitter leaves VERY detailed notes of every visit - this service has become invaluable. Having this service has allowed our cats to become comfortable with strangers - each sitter is exceptional and really "listens" to the cats needs while we are away.

Pet and Home Care continues to be one of the best choices we have ever made. They have been walking our dog for years now, and they always manage to supply reliable, helpful, and attentive service. Our dog loves his walker, and always looks forward to the visit! We were especially pleased a couple of months ago when we called them after our dog had eye surgery, to ask if they would be able to administer some eye drops in addition to the dog walk for a couple of weeks. Not only were they happy to add this task into their usual visit -- they did so without extra charge. We love the ability they give us to make changes to the walking schedule through the "client portal," based on our fluctuating needs and busy lifestyle. All in all, a great company that I would recommend highly to anyone.

Michele and my Teddy hit it off beautifully & her arrival was the best part of his day. Scheduling was easy and I had an immediate response to my requests for service.
